Dear friends,
A company called AGLOCO, http://www.agloco.com/r/BBBC0458 is paying all it's member to use Internet for any reason, surfing, email, chatting, listen to podcasts, watching Video's or even the use of XDA-Developers forum.
It's now in BETA version and will be available soon. But, now it's membership is open for FREE and you can even introduce your friends to join for FREE. You will get paid for your friends usage too.
Please have a look at http://www.agloco.com/r/BBBC0458. Nothing to buy or spend, just surfing the Internet and get paid.
NOTE to Moderators : If you find this topic is not allowed in XDA-Developers, kindly let me know, I will delete it. Thanks.
Well, at least these people are trying to entice you with money rather than sneaking their spyware + adware in to your computer quietly.
Guess they are counting on the old 'sucker born every minute' rather than security loopholes.
And make no mistake! This is both spyware and adware as it collects stats of your internet usage for them as well as shove various commercials to you.

Mods, if this post is against forum rules or something, please feel free to move/modify/delete this thread at your discretion. Thanks!
Maybe we can sticky this so anyone looking to sign up has easy access to an extra 250mb, or 500mb if you use an edu email address.
Anyway, here's my Dropbox link. Everyone else feel free to post yours as well.
http://www.dropbox.com/referrals/NTEzMjg4OTgwOQ
11/18/10 - The person who clicks the referral link has to install the desktop application in order for both of you to get your extra space. Signing up alone isn't enough, apparently.
10/3/11 - Adding my link for Minus. Everyone should feel free to post links to SugarSync and Minus (or others I forgot) as well.
http://min.us/rhFjttU
01/29/12 - Here's my SugarSync link too. - https://www.sugarsync.com/referral?...xemail&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=referral
05/30/13 - Copy Link. I'm jumping on the bandwagon. - https://copy.com?r=upnBrG
Mod note: Due to some recent posts I have to make this clear. The only types of referrals allowed in this thread are ones that get you more storage space on cloud storage facilities. DO NOT post anything that is to make you money from referrals. If you do it will immediately be deleted and you might get a ticking off for ignoring a mod request.
Thank you
Ah yes, that's a good idea, I was wondering about this earlier as well .
Feel free to use my referral link, I wouldn't mind giving and getting a bit of extra space ,
http://www.dropbox.com/referrals/NTg3ODYyMjU5
Yeah, I could definitely use some extra space. In case people don't know, if you use a referral when you join dropbox, then you get an extra 250mb of space for free... so instead of 2gb, you will get 2.25gb for free, and the person who referred you gets an extra 250mb. So please, use one of our referral links and join dropbox to get 2.25gb of free online storage. An easy way to share files with people!

Remember, the links towards the end of this thread are the freshest & most likely to still work (as each link can only be used for 24 referrals aiui )
Gotta say, I love Dropbox. It's been 100% reliable for me in the six months I've been using it. The software is well behaved & doesn't waste system resources. If you're using a machine on which you can't install the software, Dropbox offer a web interface which works well for file transfer. Great if you're out & about using college/work/library machines. It's a life saver if I forget my memory stick. Not to mention it obviously also gives file access via your mobile. Sweet.
I haven't seen a thread on this forum directly about Dropbox. If you aren't using it you should be, it's a great tool to share files across all platforms (pc, phones, etc). You get 2 gigs of storage space free, if you use the referral below you will get a 250mb upgrade for signing up.
If others want to put their referral links feel free!

Dropbox is ok, but I prefer Sugarsync. Dropbox forces you to use their folder for file syncing. Sugarsync allows you to sync your existing folders.
Sugarsync gives you 5 GB free - signup HERE.
Dropbox is working great on Android. Can't live without this app.
Here is my referral link: http://db.tt/12szKzM
Thanks~~~

Also Dropbox doesn't offer good security at all. Encrypt if you have sensitive data.

Guys..don't use DropBox. According to the ToS...it now has EXCLUSIVE rights to anything you add to it. Pictures, mp3s, ANYTHING.
Use Samba instead. Anything computer on a the same wireless can access your phone. You need only browse to it and enter the password.

According to the tos they claim no rights to your files, you retain full ownership. Maybe you would like to give that another read

By using our Services you provide us with information, files, and folders that you submit to Dropbox (together, “your stuff”). You retain full ownership to your stuff. We don’t claim any ownership to any of it. These Terms do not grant us any rights to your stuff or intellectual property except for the limited rights that are needed to run the Services, as explained below.
We may need your permission to do things you ask us to do with your stuff, for example, hosting your files, or sharing them at your direction. This includes product features visible to you, for example, image thumbnails or document previews. It also includes design choices we make to technically administer our Services, for example, how we redundantly backup data to keep it safe. You give us the permissions we need to do those things solely to provide the Services. This permission also extends to trusted third parties we work with to provide the Services, for example Amazon, which provides our storage space (again, only to provide the Services).

Nice find Endoroid, thanks for the actual TOS.
Now hopefully the thread wont keep getting jacked!
I know the TOS says one thing but I used to listen to a lot of Security Now and I found that they were full of holes. I just stopped listening because of time issues.
Sent from my XT862 using XDA App
Yeah, security issues are a different thing then Dropbox stating that they have full rights to your data.
Good point on encrypting your data though.
I only use it to backup my photos so security is of no concern for me

Don't know about Dropbox, but if you use Sugarsync, your data is encrypted both during transit and in storage. When you access the files using a web browser, a https session is used.

Guess you didn't know this is a site run by the Chinese government that they use to steal your data so that they can one day replace you with specially-trained operatives who will insidiously take over your lives so that all the world eventually will be China.
True story.

Will do!
As mentioned above, there is already a thread where you can post referral links.

Hello, I wanted to ask you, what is your favorite app for autosyncing photos from your phone to cloud and other devices? At this moment, I'm using 6 apps and testing them. I started with Dropbox and it was working just fine, but free storage is pretty low. Copy offers you 15GB + 5GB if you use reflink - copy.com?r=PFa9kW and will give you 5GB for every ref you will got. In terms of free storage this is the best service. But for browsing photos I think Google+ Photos are way better. But you have only 15 GB shared with Gdrive and Gmail. I also like Kim's Mega, but I'm a bit scared, what happen to my data, when FBI will decide to make another problems
So what is your favorite app for autosyncing photos?
