FYI skype security flaw - Thunderbolt Themes and Apps

Here is a link to the article by android police.
http://www.androidpolice.com/2011/0...r-name-phone-number-chat-logs-and-a-lot-more/
Skype stores your contacts, your profile, your instant message logs, and more in a number of sqlite3 databases. these files are not encrypted or protected in any way.

Sucks for the people that put all of their information in there.

Glad I saw this. I was just about to try it out lol. Good job jcase!

without much knowledge, I thought you meant YOU wrote the Skype app as a point to prove you can hack into peoples personal information. basically calling it a fake "leaked" skype. lol.

Proper English?

I'm in a kind of a discussion with someone, and we can't get our minds made up what it now is.
Saying the following (it's about QTE's ingame):
People who defend them are the worst kind of gamers.

Then i reply the following to someone that doesn't mind QTE's ingame:
Well i don't mind them either, but according to interdurrdurr i'm "the worst kind of gamer" then

Does the "then" at the final part of the sentence point towards what i said before the comma or not? Relating the according to only to the thing he said before?
Not really sure what your use of then is for. Did you mean to use than? Is there more to the sentence? I just know that then is used for time and than is used for comparisons.
I'm using it to give a definite reply to a statement made earlier.

It's not about phone..well, maybe yes, a little bit about phones
I hid your name and everything related to you. I don't mean to publicise your name. So don't do it yourself by commenting it's you.
To protect the person's right and protect him from being further discriminated, the screenshot has his name hidden and the message contents, some of which makes you to be able to guess who he is. Those content Are also hidden. Only my name is here. On the screenshot
I sent the 2 messages for volunteering to test on something which has had no more news or updates for a long time. (Now please check the attachment to get what I mean)
I asked myself, was I spamming him?
And I checked the time I sent the first message, it was yesterday
And the next message was sent today because I wasn't sure whether some error occurred or something, which makes the person doesn't reply me.
And I got that reply. Which was totally unfriendly.
Just asking for comments, am I the one who is wrong?
Thanks. Just a discussion

I just did, though, there are rumours saying that something is wrong with, too lazy to dig in, but it does the job, flawlessly I must say.
Yes you can, but theres a lot discussion about kingo root
Sent from my GT-P5110 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
It will root your phone, but will collect and send a lot of data to China in order to do so.
Kingo claim that they no longer collect your IMEI, but say nothing about device ID/serial numbers etc that they have been caught sending unencrypted to their server before.
I do not trust them at all and the fact that their app is currently not allowed on XDA says a lot.
Edit - Also, the guy saying he is too lazy to find out what is wrong with the Kingo app is just the sort of person that creators of malware rely upon to both use and propagate their apps. Laziness is no excuse to use and recommend use of questionable software, ever.

Dude, you sound butthurt really, I did not recommend it in the very first place, I just said that it does the job, and in my case, flawlessly, I don't know about you, but for your kind information,, I have been using doomlord method since the good old x10 days, but recently it doesn't work, so, I have no choice but to resort to kingo, what other choice do I have left? Well maybe there is, but kingo happen to stumble upon me. I never did said that he should be doing the same, but since he was asking, and I happen to have gone through it, I just said it, I even said that they were kind of suspicious, but just wanna let you know, the way you reply doesn't help that much either.
Thanks, and have a nice day
I really don't care what you did to your phone, but suspicious software that is banned from this site is not 'flawless'.
I posted merely to make sure that anyone with any sense that viewed this thread knew of its suspicious nature and stayed away from it.
Finally, just because you are unable to follow the simple instructions for DooMLoRD's method for rooting 67, doesn't mean it doesn't work. It works just fine for me and thousands of others.

I don't know what you think you proved by linking that thread. It's the same one I linked you to already.
The final post in the thread is by gangsterjoop, a moderator, saying that the tool is not allowed.
Please go and read it again. Carefully this time.

I also miss the old days, when this place wasn't overrun by people that are unable to comprehend things properly before trying to score some sort of worthless victory over somebody that actually knows and double checks what they're talking about before they post.
Edit - I reported that thread as it appeared that links to Kingo had been left in the OP by mistake. The links have now been removed.
Hopefully this will stop the spread of it until they have stopped collecting data from their users.

You have an unlocked bootloader. Why are you using dodgy tools to root? You could just flash a modified kernel.
Honestly, I wonder why some people are actually members of this site when they do things like this....

If a user has the new firmware, can't they just put a JTAG programmer on the chip and reprogram it using a custom ROM/Recovery?
