I just thought people would like to know that the people at Rearth are doing a promotion where you can get 20% off and free expedited shipping (for "independence day") for a limited time.
The coupon code is: weare2cool
I just used it to buy a Ringke Nexus S case and screen protector.
Thanks! I just ordered a black one. I already have the see through one that came with the phone when I bought it off a guy on CL.
I want one but they don't have any more black cases anymore I was thinking about the red whine but don't know if it looks to girly or not.
I wish I was living in America.
8 dollars for shipping :|
EDIT:
Wait, free shipping ?
I just ordered sky blue and orange.

On sale for $9.95

I have a similar case. Not bad for the price, but I'd get something with a sturdier stand... this one flops over pretty easily.

I am just curious as to how much people REALLY spent on their Nexus 7 which may include sales tax, accessories, return shipping costs... etc. Below is what I REALLY spent on my Nexus 7:
Nexus 7 - $249.99
Sales Tax - $20.62
ZAGG InvisibleShield - $29.94 (here's your cue, trolls!)
ZAGG InvisibleShield Installation - $20
Nexus 7 Return Shipping USPS Small Flat Rate Box - $5.15
ZAGG InvisibleShield Replacement Shipping - $5.99
ZAGG InvisibleShield Replacement Installation - $20
TOTAL: $351.69*
*Does NOT include the stress from dealing with J&R and MacMall and my delayed pre-orders, ASUS with returning the first Nexus 7 with blown speakers after a month and all the gas used to drive around town.
With almost $400 spent on this device (including gas), I'm still very much in love with my Nexus 7.
- Traded away Compaq 515 Notebook (was free), Xbox 360 Arcade + 4GB HDD + Rock Band equipment + other games for a new Galaxy Tab
- Sold Galaxy Tab + $1 Stylus for $219
- Bought Nexus 7 for $225 (or however much it was from Play Store)
- Bought Case for $6
- Bought Controller for $5
- Bought USB OTG Cable for $1
Hmmm...
249.99 Nexus 7
18.13 Sales tax
5.95 TPU case
9.49 Sleeve
2.14 Micro USB cable
(87.50) Gamestop credit for iPod Touch at the end of its useful life
(25.00) Play Store credit
(10.00) Google Wallet credit
163.20
Plus a few bucks for gas to deal with exchanges. Say about $170 total. I'm counting the Play Store and Wallet credit because that represents money I would have spent anyway.

EDIT: Sorry if this was posted before but I looked and didn't see anything.
I ordered that tuxedo case. I did the same when they did a similar promotion for the s3. The case I got in was garbage and not what was pictured.
Thought for $5 I would try Boxwave again but I'm not getting my hopes up.

Code deducts $5USD from the final price of the order...so shipping is only "free" on normal shipping...2-day and overnight are still $12USD, which with Prime would be much cheaper. Still $5USD shipped 3-5 business day for a TPU case is pretty nice.
These are just re-branded cheap ebay cases from China. Why even bother when you can get it $2-$3 cheaper and shipped free from China or maybe even US sellers? BoxWave is not an original case designer, it's just someone buying in bulk and re-selling it at a higher price, just like most of the other ebay sellers. And when sales are slow, they advertise on Slickdeals with discount code to push their inventory...
Just bought the BoxWave Samsung Galaxy Note 2 UniColor Case, $10 shipped to Canada, not bad.
I searched amazon a lot but couldnt get a case and screen protector that could be internationally shipped and at a reasonable price. Devicewear ridge was 20 dollars but after shipping it went to 50 because of shipping charges. I am not spending 50 dollars for a case. Any other good alternatives that i can try?
I really need a good case n screen protectorfor my Nexus 7.
