Update 11/05/11
StreakDroid7 1.3
changelog
no huge changes
rebuilt kernel with more stability at higher overclocks, also auto detect speeds in setcpu will work fine now.
added GPU Overclock which also boosts the base gpu clock so performance should be increased all round
reduced the max framerate to fix gfx courrptions
http://mirror2.streakdroid.com/Streakdroid7-v1.3.zip
Update 22/04/11
time for a new build again
minor tweaks in this version and one large change
changelog:
Minor tweaks to kernel
Removed 1.6ghz Overclock
Tweaked 1.504ghz should work better
Added 1.3ghz clock speed
Finally managed to uncap the framerate of device, now hitting over 100fps on some items,
thanks to dexter_nlb for pointing me in the right direction on the above
overclock should be pretty much rock solid up to 1.4ghz but above that you may see lockups, also not all devices are the same and some will not handle overclock as well

NICE!!!!!!!
glad to see this out now and not a second to soon, now every one who download and contributes to this thread really needs to look into logcating i believe that will help out a lot with trouble shooting
I strongly feel that the UNDERDOG DS7 with DJ's hand will blow all other fancy expensive **** out of the water .
This is unbelievably only first day of dev's output ...
Second day with the device. I don't have interwebz so in out till Monday! Oh well enjoy
sent from ???
Running now.
Quand Score 3020!
So far so good. No issue encountered yet.
Edit1
Dungeon Defender Stuck the entire device everytime it runs. But it's ok. Their updates failed even under 2.2.2 sometimes too.
Edit 2
Every HD videos / H.264 will freeze unless I set the SetCPU profile as 216 - 1400 mhz.
Previously was 1200 - 1400 mhz (maybe this is too greedy of a setting)
Getting my Unit Tuesday, My replacement, was thinking about sellign for Acer Iconia, but now the Dj_steve got this rolling, cant wait.
Hey guys what do I need to do to my new device to get this on it, I been out of the loop for 2 weeks.
Thanks
Lou (Original CWM Guinea Pig)
flash cwr. wipe then flash. I like whats in store for the s7! love having the underdog. and with dj at the helm goods things to come i suspect.
How are you finding battery life with oc?
Put profile for screen off at 216-1400. Battery burning almost twice faster. So now I am testing with off screen setting 216-800 and lets see how

best bet to set the speeds after reboot manually anyway

I always put it on the min for both the min/max when the screen is off(usually power save or conservative governor depending on the kernel). I mean you really need close to zero cpu when your screen is off so running it even at 800 is a waste of power. I would suggest doing a screen off profile of a min/max of 216/216. It also helps keep the temp down
In case people didn't know this includes binaries to easily remount your system partition. They are pretty self-explanatory.

you can use those in any terminal program you choose (or an adb shell). Steve - you should drop AppWidgetPicker.apk into the system/app folder, makes a much nicer widget selection dialog. Also, maybe you could remove the extra crap, like it doesn't need to flash the modem or recovery, I was just too lazy to remove those extra steps from the install script.
Thanks for this! Flashing now.
Gps is broken for me...
04-16 08:37:11.181: ERROR/gps_BRCM(1146): Failed to connect to the gps driver (/dev/socket/gps) errno(2)
Restored my backup to be sure - no problem there. I re-added some of the apk's to /system/app that were removed, as my first attempt to get it working. If this doesn't work, I am going to try to revert some of the lib changes you made, maybe one of those is b0rking something up. Not an apk, going to restore and just flash your boot.img and see how that works out...
Alright, did another restore, tested again (fine)... this time I included the old lib directory and got massive kernel panics (made a second attempt at this thinking I did something wrong - boots fine, no GPS, gotta be in the kernel - right?). Guess the last test is to just flash your boot image...
Last test - restored backup flashed your boot.img (think it flashed - no error returned). Booted up fine, GPS - a no go). Gotta be a kernel thing.
yep yep and yep ive also stablised the overclock more, pushed the voltages up slightly but its made it far more stable and doesn seem to lockup here now, will upload new build later, adding some other edits to kernel too, also can someone on here please go ask some of the devs in the folio 100 and gtab forums what they had to change in nvrm_daemon to up the framerates as it appears the 7 is locked to 59fps at moment,
fps2d will show this for reference:
streak 7 @ 1.4ghz = 59fps max
Notion ink adam @ 1.0 ghz but with a 78hz modded nvrm hits 70fps easily
and new build is up folks check first post

OK, this is a little strange, but I think the idea is useful for people that want to mod the ramdisk but don't want to fiddle with compilers and such. It requires a kernel, so I'm including a proof of concept here. However, once the basic support is in a kernel, you can change anything about the ramdisk and the boot process WITHOUT changing your kernel!
For example, say you want to change init.rc... You can do that, and if it fails to boot, if you stored it on your external SD card, just pop out the card and boot up, the change won't be able to copy over at boot, so you are back where you started. No odin, no kernel mod.
The basic idea is simple. It runs init.d style scripts (if found) BEFORE the android init process starts up. This allows you to change literally anything in the ramdisk without the hassle of building a kernel. You can replace the /sbin/init binary if you want to, whatever.
This also means you could install and/or upgrade a lagfix, even voodoo, by copying a single file to /system/etc/init.d and rebooting.
This is more useful for devs I think than for end users, but perhaps users will find it useful.
NOTE: This is DANGEROUS STUFF. If you store your files in a world-writable location like /sdcard, ANY app could change your ramdisk! As it is, any root app can do it with this change. Anything run in the pre-init scripts is, by definition, run as root. So watch your permissions and don't store stuff used by the pre-init scripts in a FAT filesystem. EXT2/3/4 and RFS will work fine if you set them to root-write only. If in doubt, use "chmod 700 <file>". All of this should be obvious to most people here, but I think it's important to point out just in case.
This is based on Unhelpful's 1.7 kernel. It runs great on my Vibrant. There is one known bug, it reverts the locale to en_GB on boot, which is mildly irritating. I can't figure out why this happens. If someone knows, please post. I did write a simple app that switches it back to en_US using MoreLocale 2 (market) on boot, if people want it.
Credit to Unhelpful (kernel source and nice build scripts), JAC and Supercurio (examples for setting up the ramdisk properly for this sort of thing).
All the init scripts live in /system/etc/init.d. P*** are pre-init scripts. E*** are early-init scripts run before /data and /dbdata are mounted, allowing you to override mount options and such at that point, S*** are standard init scripts that launch right before the Android OS starts up, so the full environment is available to them. So you now have 3 hooks to start init scripts up. The boot process will wait for them to complete, so don't do anything that takes a long time if you don't have to, or start it in the background with "cmd &" or similar.

Flash with Odin. I'll consider putting up a ZIP later. Please, be at a computer with Odin and a known good kernel when you do this, this should be considered beta at best. Hardware locked phones should probably avoid this as well. Also, disable voodoo before messing with this, it does not include the voodoo script. If you really want to try it, you should be able to copy it to the init.d directory, but it would be better to wait a bit.
If it works well, hopefully other kernel devs will include the framework. I may also start posting updates from Unhelpful's git tree if there is interest as well now that I have a decent environment set up. See his thread in the Captivate forum for details on what changes have been done. OC/UV is supported, but I haven't worked with it much. You have to enable it by creating a config file and putting it on the phone. I'd recommend the external SD card in case you have a problem with a bad config, so you can pull the card and boot without clock changes. The OC/UV config can also be changed at runtime.
There is no need to pre-flash anything, and init.d need not exist or have any scripts in it. The system will boot fine without them.
If you try it, please post your thoughts. I'd like to see if there is interest for this line of work. If you don't understand a thing I said above, please don't install it.

Wow, I am afraid to mess with this today. (expecting an important phone call)
I will flash it tomorrow morning however. And post some results, I have an idea about what to do with this.
Thanks Travis!
I hope you find it useful! I forgot to note one thing. If you want to see what your pre-init scripts are up to, there's some info in /init.log. Not a ton, but you can at least see if your script was started and such from there.
Also, if anyone cares, it works on Frankin-Twiz Final. I decided to check it out once I got this little project working.
I'm curious to see what people come up with, I've seen some complaints about not being able to edit the ramdisk without building a kernel. So now they can.

You mind sharing your init setup. I am familiar with Unhelpfuls method and just want to see what you have changed from his.
I stayed away from his method with Voodoo as it was causing issues at diff points of development and went with the run-parts solution. But it may be in better shape now that you have gone over it.
Most users will only need one hook but options are always good.
I've always been one the fence about the runtime OC/UV. Most people are looking for a stable voltage file that will work with their phones in the thread, but it is def awesome for those that are familiar with what they are doing.

The whole ramdisk is here:
http://github.com/travistabbal/linux-galaxy/tree/ttabbal-v1.0/usr/initrd_files_t959/
The pre-init stuff is in /init.sh.
The basic stuff is the same as his really, I just put the sync hooks in to stall the boot based on an older version of his stuff. The current version didn't seem to work for me. The boot didn't wait, and I couldn't see any reason it would, so I just used the property setting style.
As I said, I haven't tried voodoo with it yet, but I don't see any reason it wouldn't work. You might want to pull the "exec /sbin/init" out if you want more pre-init scripts available, but other than that, it should work fine. A fair bit of the ramdisk came from your voodoo release, useful stuff in there.
If you see any issues with the init.d stuff, let me know and I'll look into them and if I can fix them, send a pull request over to Unhelpful.
Yeah, 3 hooks is overkill, but I figured there might be some use for them all. Most scripts can run in the "standard" hook and work just fine.
I kept the runtime OC/UV stuff just because it was more work to take it out. If you have a nice stable file, I'm happy to include it in the downloads as a default. I'm sure I could pull at least older versions from your github, I honestly haven't messed with it much beyond adding the 600Mhz step and seeing that the phone would use it. I honestly don't see much call for changing that stuff constantly at runtime, but it's nice for experimenting. If it crashes due to low voltage, just reboot and no harm done.
As I'm sure someone will ask, no I won't test it with voodoo. I can't, my phone has the extra NAND so it's not compatible with voodoo. When Beta5 comes out, I'll test it though.
I'm uploading a 1.1 now. The only big change is that I've fixed the backlight notification patch from Unhelpful's tree so it works with Vibrant now! Install the kernel, then copy lights.default.so to /system/lib/hw to get apps able to use it. Anything that can do LED notifications now turns on the button backlights instead.
See the other BLN threads for Q&A's, etc.. The big one, no, we can't flash/fade the LEDs. It would require changes to the binary firmware and nobody wants to try writing it.
http://www.tabbal.net/files/t959-ttabbal-v1.1.tar
http://www.tabbal.net/files/lights.default.so
This has been tested on my phone running Bionix 1.7 and worked with the MMS and GMail apps. I haven't tested the others.
Again, it's an Odin tar file. Put it in the PDA section and flash. If people ask for an update.zip, I'll put one together.
The warning above applies. This flashes a kernel, so it will overwrite whatever you have now. So if you have voodoo, disable it or add the voodoo script to init.d with an E prefix ie. "Evoodoo".
Thanks
I've been looking forward for a way to use the backlight buttons as notification since the phone came out and the idea was hatched a few days later. I'm admittedly new to all this so I have no idea what else this is capable of but I am VERY thankful for the button lights. Also there is another xda thread up with many replies and people offering up some rewards for making this work.
Can this be applied to eugenes froyo ?

Not sure. Froyo usually needs a different kernel. If JAC or KK kernels work, this one should. At worst, it will boot loop and you will have to flash a compatible kernel in download mode. So make sure you can get into download mode before trying it.
Thanks for this. It's working great, and I'm so glad to finally have backlight notifications.
Definitely would like an update.zip, just not comfortable doing it through odin...but I would love to have this

Tested just now via Clockwork. It even installs the library for you, so the button notification should work out of the box.
Running great for me on Bionix 1.9.1.
Wow...thanks, ill give it a go. So just flash through clockwork and good to go?

Yup.
Let me know what you think.
Is this ready for overclocking like JAC's OC/UV kernels? If so, any chance of posting a demo script for the OC/UV settings?
Also, can we add a user-script to enable AOSP bootanimation.zip files, or is support still commented out in this kernel?
Thanks for your time and hard work, cheers, =)
I have been wanting button notification since i got the phone. Can you choose which button lights up based on what the notification is?
for example menu = txt, home = missed call, etc....that would be awesome!

It's based on Unhelpful's way of doing OC/UV, you have to modify a file and push it to the phone to enable it, then set up the min/max settings with a script or SetCPU. There's a lot of detail over in Unhelpful's thread on the Captivate forum, so it's probably better to point you over there. They have scripts and such for it as well.
Not sure on the boot animation. I'll see if I can find it.

That would be awesome, but it's not that complex. It's all of them for a notification. The Android API wouldn't really be able to deal with that level, but perhaps we could assign the buttons colors and use the color that the app requested? Maybe, but I'm not sure we can turn on just one of them from the code we have right now. The code looks to make a somewhat simple call that turns them all on at the same time. Hopefully as more people look into things, we will learn how to do stuff like that.
Sorry for posting a new thread.. I wanted to start over with a better control of it, with FAQ's involved, etc.

THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS ONE IS COMPATIBLE WITH THE LEAK, ONE IS NOT
Change log from 1.8.6:
Updated tweaks (credit to Collin_PH for some of them)
Kernel tweaks (NO this is not a custom kernel upgrade of any sort, simply set the CFS to behave more like a BFS) i'd like to thank inkarnit for working on these behind the scenes with me. He helped me test the kernel tweaks
These kernel tweaks will kill your quadrant score. If you score ~900/1000, you know they are working. These quadrant scores are changed in the I/O scheduler, but increase cpu performance and the like. The phone OVERALL will run FASTER and SMOOTHER than before. THESE LOW SCORES ARE NORMAL. Linpack scores, on the contrary, will increase.
Added transition animations (credit to Myn, and JsinLegacy for pointing them out)
Re-optimized, zipaligned all apks and framework-res/moto-res
OGG (sounds) optimized
Updated moto files with 2.3.320 files (some anyways)
Now compatible with OC on boot (seems to not work on the leak) and will not cancel out my tweaks
Bootstrap is installed on boot (takes a few minutes), to reboot into recovery, either run the bootstrap app or type bstrap.sh -r in terminal emulator *STILL BETA*
Some other things I can't remember right now, will update when my memory is better

FAQ
Q: My Gmail doesn’t sink! Your rom brokeded my phone!
A: Download it from the market, set it to sync in accounts, gmail settings. You should get a notification asking permission. Allow it, then re-check the sync email option.
Q: I can’t voice search! Dubya tee eff?
A: Download Voice Search from the market. It was removed since Google likes to update things constantly and I can’t keep up with them. I’m not a themer, I have no need to
Q: My HDMI doesn’t work!?
A: I know. I’m working on a fix, and am getting close.
Q: Why is my phone so awesome now?
A: <Insert cheesy answer here>
Q: Why does my phone randomly reboot some times?
A: Moto's screwy behavior with the bootloader and the security checks constantly checking for blur. This causes all of the phones memory to be eaten up (mostly at times when the screen is locked) and reboot to free it again. This is also an issue with their framework, and not just the blur security checks. It's being worked on, I promise. Every release, you all test a possible fix
(This question drives me crazy but I have a full answer now)
Q: Why is my cell standby ~50%?! That's why my phone dies in 0.02 seconds!!!!1!1
A: No.. Your phone dies because A: you are overclocked and your phone doesn't like it, B: Your phone doesn't like my tweaks or C: Your phone doesn't like me, period. Cell standby is a graphical bug caused by improper permissions. Currently, I can fix it, but if I do, you cannot wipe system before installing without a hard brick. My rom AUTOMATICALLY wipes system, and I will not get rid of that feature because it saves A LOT of issues on my end, and on yours.

Note: All themes from 1.6 work with this rom, but i'm going to link them here when I get done writing this paper!!!

thanks for your hard work. I appreciate it.
I wish I had one of the phones that could stay stable at 1.2 or more OC.
Lucky if I can hang at 1.2.
Overall, it is working great for me.

Thanks for addressing HDMI Drod. DEFINITELY looking forward to that appearing in rubix or fission!!
+1 on the 3G Mobile HotSpot app -- the mynet APK is in /system/app, but it doesn't show up in the app drawer. I upgraded from Rubix 1.6, so I didn't do a full wipe. Could that be causing it?
Also, is there any chance that you could remove Swype from the ROM, and just make it an optional download? I'm a beta user for Swype, and it works wy better than the built-in version. But every time I flash a new ROM, it kills my version in favor of the ROM's one, and I have to wipe both versions out and reinstall it from scratch.

The new version doesn't force close on your DX?
Downloading now...I think I need to clear some of the old Roms off of my sdcard. They're taking up all of my memory!! So what's different between android 2.2.1 and the old version of 2.2?

Pretty sure drod won't be removing swype...
Easiest way to solve for you might be to dl the .zip to your computer first, and use 7zip (or winrar, or whatever archiver you use), open the .zip, and yank out the /system/swype.apk file. That way, you don't get swype, and it shouldn't affect your beta version.
HTH!
No, it works just fine. I do have to wipe all existing Swype files from my phone, though, before I install the new beta. I just do a global sarch for "swype" in Root Explorer, then delete every single found instance. After that, Swype installer installs without any issues, and downloads and installs the latest version.
I know this is contrary to the point of the rom, but does anyone know if there's a way to add the facebook "account" setting back into the rom? It integrates so much more smoothly than the facebook application. Thanks in advance.
Seems like the battery percentage is a little off. Sent you a PM Drod.

How so? I find the Facebook app's contact integration to be far better. You get a link to their profile page in the FB app via quick contact tasks. The only thing you lose is the social messaging integration, but I hardly ever want to go into someone's contact just to see that stuff. And as the FB app gets more features it's starting to make Moto's FB less useful in comparison.
Booyah! D/l'ing now!

Nice. Thanks.
This morning I installed Google Now for Arco's CM9 Alpha 7. I am not interested in cards and notifications (as they eat a lot of battery and are laggy) but I am only interested in voice search (kind of cool) so I installed Mikey6_Online package, I disactivated all Google Now options and maps option but it's laggy as well.. If you have any ideas how to make it work smoothly, I'm buying.

A Few reasons:
-Well first, offline package does reduce the lag a bit, try that
-Our kernel of the ICS is not done, i mean the kernel is not finished, so performance can be a question, do to the kernel's config, no-oc, no-ow, etc.
-If you have many processes in background it can cause the lag, in fact it can make a huge lag if you have like 10-15 high process[WebBrowser,Games,Maps,Music Player[Playing ofc], FACEBOOK [This app is the biggest ram, and performance killer], PlayStore]
-Try config the CPU's speed, and CPU governor [Settings - Performance - Processor] and set the CPU Governor to Performance, and min CPU frequency to 368, This will make Google Now work very very Well
I love this. I flashed it over slim ics and works like charm. Thanks.

New Version
Added an optimization suggested by todobarato (thanks!!) Works fine. The only problem still is the sticky bit issue. Still Working on it
Download the New Version Here.
Instructions
1. Flash in CWM
2. Reboot
3. The script should start working on its own (Doesn't Work for now)
Open terminal > "auto-cpu" (Without quotes)
And also please let me know if the CPU frequencies are reverting at boot or not?
Changes Made
1. The original script by smokin1337 is kept intact , so advanced users can still use the script as usual.
2. The modifications automatically shutdown one of the cores when its not required.
So please go ahead test it and let me know results.
Anyone is welcome to help and provide suggestion or even modify this and contribute.

It allows CPU mods without using an app (which of course uses battery).
You can change min/max frequencies on each core individually. You can even take one of the cores offline completely. Running on one core is not noticeably different from two for routine use. I hardly see a difference. I can't give any hard number for the increase in battery life since I have only been using it for less than two days. But battery life is definitely better.
There is some more info here:

deathscream,
I just tried it. The script is not running automatically as far as I can tell. I am not seeing the second core shutting down.
Thanks, and keep up the good work.
I'll look into it. I just got my phone back. Now I can test it without any problems.

Hello,
I am following this and I think you are complicating it to much.
I have test this script and the original and it never disable the 2nd core.
If you will disable it is very easy with the following command as su: echo 0 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/online
The only issue is that it comes online very fast again and you have to execute the command again... I have found the script that disable the 2nd core but only when the screen off, this isn't our problem, by CPU-spy it show deep-sleep is working.
I have changed the script to disable the 2nd core when the CPU frequency is under 350Mhz, this check every X second (I use 35seconds, this can be changed) , now the second core is offline when it detects low CPU frequency and stay offline, if you need it again I have observed after switch off and on again the screen it comes back online or by open set-CPU(I have it on widget to check CPU temp) if you have. If you use one very CPU intensive app comes only by itself too.
I put the script on /system/etc change the correct permission, run with SDmanager.
The script is:
--------------------------------------------------------
#!/system/bin/sh
#
#
while [ 1 ]
do
CPU0=`cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/cpuinfo_cur_freq`;
if [ $CPU0 -lt "350000" ]; then && echo 0 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu1/online;
fi;
sleep 35
done
-------------------------------------------------------------
I hope this help, I am using it on CM7 and work better that I have expected.

Yes. I tried it . The script doesn't run automatically. The sticky bit setting is driving me nuts. haven't slept the whole night. adding this to userinit also doesn't work , so I guess the only way would be try upacking the booimage, ramdisk and adding to the init.rc . I'll try running that there. That should probably work. But can't say for sure.
relax dude... even with the 2nd core disabled, the battery life had increased just a little almost insignificant hours. im pretty sure that we will have this serious issue solved only if someone can put hands on another ics kernel or this leaked kernel source.

I'm testing the new version on AOKP (not suggested, I know ) and it seems that doesn't switch well the cores status.....I'm able to set a maximum cpu1 settings but not it doesn't really applies it.
Within my tests I can see that the 2nd core is not so much important....I can play Riptide GP and Shine Runner (heavy games??? ) plus others apps with only 1 core without any noticeable lags...so
I'd like to ask you if you can make a unique profile and cut off other settings:
cpu0 @ 1ghz max, variable
cpu1 @ 456mhz max, variable (enabled only if cpu0 is @ 1ghz more than 5/10 seconds)
screen-off: cpu0 456mhz max, cpu1 disabled.
Thanks a lot for the suggestion. I'll definitely try adding those.

If disabling a core is not fetching significant battery increase in leaked rom(s) then efforts to streamline sampling would we worthless as primary issue of battery drain would not get solved.
This came as a surprise as the second core was suspected to be the mAh drainer. Maybe it could be the GPU that runs at max..
After a long amount of observation, I found out that shutting down a core isn't reducing the battery drain. There is something more to it. Thanks to upndwn4par to release icsrom 1.4.5 so that I could test my scripts... I'm still working on the battery drain issue and will let you guys know the progress soon.

The question should be addressed to the author, he'd know the best. But as he reffered to zeppelinrox regarding this matter, it might be assumed that improvements are regarding charger and launcher. Zeppelinrox describes these changes like features that "makes your phone fast, super snappy with better multitasking".

Hello,
Tested and adopted !
All is perfectly working !
Enjoy !
My question might be a bit too silly, but I've had an LG Optimus Black and the more you tweaked it, the better it got. However, it started to fade because of the Overclock, gps-wise and 3g-wise, everything was getting really dark. So, I decided to buy once and only an SGS3 and it died 3 days later, it literally died, nobody knows why. It IS a good phone, batter lasts about 8hs, and has a lot of power. It lags, which i didn't expect and it does not perform as well on wi-fi as a true quad core should perform. My point is: whatever it is that you do, the RAZR i does it just so fast, so good, it is like a train, maybe not the fastest and not the biggest but the most efficient. Does this phone get EVEN better by rooting/flashing custom ROMs? I'm starting to think that it just won't. The hardware seems to be polished at its maximum and working in perfect harmony.

Hi,
In my opinion it gets better if it is rooted as there are some apps I use like Titanium Backup or Root explorer. Currently I do not see a need to flash a custom rom for some reasons. The phone is fast, stable and the battery lasts for at least 2 days however the architecture is x86 as you probably know. This could be the reason why the phone is not in focus of devs. Nevertheless there is the first custom rom.http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191769
Whatever you do, if the phone is running ICS and you are planning to upgrade to JB I recommend to do this first.
Can anyone provide screenshot of the rom please

You got a point. It really doesn't get faster, because its already fastest as it could be. But this ROM gave me a better battery performance, and the fact that it its deodexed gives us more liberty to tweak around. But it isn't a must, like in other devices, have a custom ROM to get a good performance. Whit RAZR i its just a choice...

Custom brightness coming soon...
Just a quick heads up regarding the brightness settings in this rom: it uses the standard brightness curves, which are far too bright.
I am working on new brightness curves for this rom, which I have working on my phone, and I will make them available very soon.
In the meantime, do not flash my modified framework-res.apk (from Matt's thread) on this rom: the mountpoint settings are different, and it work at all you will likely lose access to the internal storage.
I think the same... I'm a newbie, but I had HTC one S, Motorola Atrix 4g, this one is winning talking about battery and performance all around. I would have appreciated a better camera, but that's it. I really enjoy it, missing just some custom rom for playing a bit with, but Max Choco's has started this way for this great toy.
Thank you...
