it's easy, all you gotta do it's search for that logo on google and animated.

Hey Mate
The boot animation looks different on the defy then the gif you posted here.
The Background is not black, it is grey.
I have no Idea why it is this way, but maybe some of you guys know it.
I am running CM7 on my defy.
EDIT:
I fixed it myself using Photoshop Batch functions.
I have attached the Bootanimation from the first post darkened and resized to 480x854

Very nice.
potato potato potato potato potato potato potato potato potato potato potato potato

my droid is currently in a perma-depressed state(apparently skynet needed 50% smartphone market share to have enough power to boot).
can someone resize it for us optimus one/v/s users 320X480 i think

How about a 600 x 1024 version for Nook users? Or 1024 x 600 for landscape?

I have a Inspire 4G and downloaded original bootanimation.zip 480x800 moved it to the /system/customize/resource/ folder. Doesn't work, so what now? I tried renaming it to the folder ATT-bootanimation. All that happens is I see the blue Android name and it animates by flashing across the letters. Any ideas?

Hi! TheSkepticalGuy made mi see this post, happened today that I made an aperture science based bootanimation, I'll leave it there, don't know if u did one like that, but is different from the one you posted so i don't think so

This looks great! Can you make a 960x540 version?

1. Download the ZIP of the boot animation you would like to apply to your phone.
* For the first boot animation (with green flare, do not unzip the file. Just move it to your tools folder.
* For the second or third boot animations, please unzip the file you download from here, resulting with a folder with another ZIP - inside, called bootanimation.zip. Please move that bootanimation.zip to your Android-(SDK)-Tool-Folder
2. Open up a command prompt, and head into your local tools folder.
cd C:\Android\tools
Click to collapse
(Or whatever folder you choosed for Android Tools)
3. Now, enter the following commands, one line at a time.
adb remount
adb mv
adb push bootanimation.zip /system/media/bootanimation.zip
adb push bootanimation.zip /data/local/bootanimation.zip
adb reboot
Click to collapse
Now when your phone begins to reboot, it should be using the new boot animation you just applied to your phone. Note that if this does not work on your phone, please use the following commands:
cd C:\Android\tools
adb remount
adb shell rm /system/media/bootanimation.zip
adb reboot
Click to collapse
This block of commands will remove the bootanimation.zip file that we just wrote, hopefully leaving you with the old animation you had, before. I just tested all of these commands an they do indeed work, on my CDMA HTC Hero running RegawMod 2.1t.
For VillainRom 10.3.x Users:
You have to push it to /system/customize/resource/bootanimation.zip to make it work!
---------------------------
One IMPORTANT Thing:
I don't want anyone to mirror the animations or to post them in another Forum without my permission!!
I'll always keep them uploaded so you can download them here anytime!
[Reserved for later use]
I like a lot. I'm going to use, but I would like more without the last spotlight. Just for my taste,

[BOOT] Perception Boot Animations

So I was going to try and put together several different replacement boot animations.

yes most boot anim. will work... but these are specific to Perception
Curious....Are these flashable from CWM or do I need to rename to "bootanimation.zip" and use Root Explorer (or something like that) and put them into system/media?

Alright. Probably going to have to do it that way because I tried copying the file to system/media and all I get is a black screen.

If you are going that route, placing it in the system/media folder, you need to unpack the zip you download and get the bootanimation.zip file from it. I just went through that black screen issue myself.

There's an issue with copyrights and using pop culture icons. Don't want a C&D letter.
Seriously? I doubt they will care that much ...at least I hope not I mean, it would be like going agaisnt anybody using a Cartman image as avatar etc

Installed android particles loop to my phone, but i can't understand. I see only 1.5 or 2 loops, and then some black screen for 3-4 seconds. maybe 5. then phone boot and work.
If this can be because the animation got insufficient frames? (i mean all the frames are shown, but the phone hasn't loaded)?
Can any1 comment on it?

I don't know, maybe it's the ROM you are using.
I'm using Cyanogen ROM and i see 1 or 2 loops then it goes directly (less then 1 sec) to lockscreen.
Still don't like it that it first needs to put all the images in cache before the animation goes smooth though...

[boot-animation]simple 3d rotating cyanogenmod logo

I wanted to create a very small(file size),simple and smooth bootscreen, and decided to base it on cyanogen-mod logo.
As i've described above the file size is very small, less than 500kb!!, and runs extremely smooth.

WOW.!!
Over 200 downloads and 7 thanks, stop leeching!!
What did you use to make this?
A program called xara 3D, it's now called xara 3D maker.
It uses vector shapes and turns them into a 3d image that your able to add bevels, change lighting/shadows, add text and turn into a .gif animation.
After the gif was created i used a free program called gif exorcist, which changes the .gif animation into single .png images to be used as a boot animation.
Hope this helps.
Yep. Thanks.

[bootanimation]--videos-2-animation....tron animation added 8/5/11

-Ok, so I have been playing around with custom bootscreens...so i decided to download some videos and convert them to .png images and then build a bootscreen from those images......here is a very crude sample.....if you like my crude example or have any ideas go ahead and throw them out here and what you want and i will try to build them and post them on here for you and others to use.....Thanks
-This Boot screen is set up and tested on the HTC Desire HD/Inspire 4G at 480x800 Resolution at 15FPS.....but can work on many other devices without changing anything with a 480x800 Resolution
-Just copy the boot screen and place inside the system/customize/resource/.....(you can use programs such as (Droid Explorer/Android Commander) and on your android device by copying bootanimation.zip to your SD Card and then using root explorer to copy to destination)
-You can also use various programs that allow you to easier install custom boot screens such as......(Bootanimation Installer)--Download Below
P.S. I am very aware that the file is quite large...but it works.....
If the bootscreen doesn't work on your phone, change the frame rate in the desc.txt file.....
EDIT: There was a issue with the demo boot animation, but is fixed now....
