it would be nice if we had fully working sd version first

[RUU] Buzz HTC WWE 1.25.405.1

New RUU released on shipped ROMs.
THIS IS NOT FROYO! (Feel free to flash, can easily be rooted using unrevoked 3)
This is especially helpful for those, who get the Error 140 while trying to remove the Branding of their Wildfire. Who has Version 1.19 installed can now debrand using the GoldCard and this RUU. Mostly this error came for T-Mobile and 1&1 Devices.

am i right in saying pay monthly phones are already debranded? and that i would not have to debrand my tmboile wildfire because it does not contain and crap from tmobile?

No, this is usually not correct. Many providers modify the stock operating system of their handsets, and commonly remove features and/or add bloatware. I have this handset pay monthly on T Mobile UK, and the bootscreen is branded, alongwith a "TopApps" program that runs on startup.
I recommend this ROM anyway as it is noticably faster.
I tried to flash this ROM.
Ich applied the unrEVOked patch before succesfully.
But i cant flash this ROM. Its waiting for the Bootloader, until it says that it has a Connection error.
Im using the 1&1 brandet Wildfire.
worked fine for me on 1&1
maybe you can add that you don't even lose your applications, contacts, sms and settings when you first do a nandroid backup
then flash 1.25 rerun unrevoked and use the advanced restore feature of nandroid - just pick "restore data". voilá!

Yes Installing this rom will debrand your phone . Glad to have mine debranded from 3uk , also my phone seemed to run a lot smoother (dont think that has anything to do with the debranding) when i was using this rom .

Since you create a GoldCard your Desire will be unbranded, after you install this ROM
How to flash this after unrevoked3
Hello, I have clockworkmod recovery and root from unrevoked3. I would like to install this ROM - as the only custom ROM seems unstable to me, but the RUU errors out as the phone never seems to go to recovery (maybe because of custom recovery?) during the update process. Can anyone advise how I should proceed to flash this ROM with the clockworkmod recovery installed?
thanks

Try the new v6, it should work for everyone even those who havent ext partition on sd-card.
And in what way have the rom been unstable for you? Its realy stable for me and all my friend who runs it. And i cant anderstand why it should be unstable for you, as we all have the same hardware.
Instability
Hello,
the instability in fact came from the JIT being enabled. Guess We'll have to wait for a Froyo update before we get something ressembling a stable JIT implementation. Since disabling the JIT - it's good. Thanks for coming back on this

P990 stock rom zip

Hello pls where i can get P990 stock rom zip ( czech version ) in zip format... for me is better instalation.
Please answer fast
I have backup stock rom but if i flash it .... in boot screen freeze and after 5 sec restart phone
You'll first need to convert your file system to EXT3 first. CM is EXT4 and stock is EXT3. Flash this zip in recovery: http://android.modaco.com/topic/336...3-for-converting-your-device-er-back-to-ext3/
So you'll need to do this in recovery:
1. Wipe everything
2. Flash the BackToExt3 zip
3. Restore stock rom backup.
This should work.
Nice big thx this is easy and very fast

http://lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=3 has made an index for lg kdz updates.
You can flash it with UpTestEX.exe or extract with LGExtract.exe then flash img with CWM recovery.

trapacska, you are a legend! For months I have been troubled with my CM9 flashed phone, wishing I still had video etc, and couldn't get my phone recognised by any pc i attached it to. Your zip file has fixed all my problems in about 3 minutes! Thanks a million!
erm, i'm from Malaysia, which Rom should i use?

I read this post above and cant go anywhere further because the silly rules do not allow noobsters to ask noobster questions ????
heres my problem,
I have P990 that came with froyo
the thing was working perfectly apart from front camera in Skype and silly old me, not being able to ask novice questions here (because you are not allowed) somehow managed to install the cryogen 9 naively thinking that this will fix the only problem I ever had. And then the world of unstability, locked and frozen screens, freezing, restarting, random uninstaling of apps, cameras not working, video freezing, music (what music??) not available and not even starting etc started to be my daily dose of my randomly properly working p990 phone.
Is there anyone kind enough to explain how to do stock rom as per above post install on top of my big mistake .
I have an unstable, unreliable (rooted ) P990 that is currently (very randomly) running cryogen 9 , I downloaded the 2 part files from trapacska's post (thanks for thinking of us mortals), I have 2 laptops , one with windows XP , one with windows 7 64 bit, a usb cable to connect laptop to the phone and I will to do anything to return my phone to some normality .
Please take me step by step or show me links how to do it and what other programs do I need in order to make my phone work as it is supposed to work.
Please understand that I do not understand what all this bellow means, and would really appreciate if anyone could explain or point to places where these things are explained ( please omit the first point, I found how to root elsewhere):
THIS IS 100% FACTORIAL STOCK:
-you have to root
-wipe data and cache NOW NOT NEEDED(built in format /system /data /cache)
-100% factorial stock kernel included
-baseband and recovery will not be changed
-if you have bootloop, try to flash backtoext3 first

[Q] Dual boot android and cyanogenmod rom

So I have Cyanogenmod on my X1. If I were to download a windows mobile rom image and flash it without using the erase internal memory tool to keep all my files, can I just reflash the bootloader image and run android without it being factory reseted? Will the windows mobile rom be factory reseted as well if I flash to it again?
I meant a NAND rom. If I enter the bootloader and flash the windows mobile rom, would I be able to keep the android settings?
Sent from my XPERIA X1 using xda app-developers app
But what I can remember is that there's a tool which is used to erase all the internal memory so that you could free it up for the android ROM. If I flash a ROM without using it, would it still get replaced?
No, I mean this tool. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=11125538&postcount=1
It's also stated at the installation guide close to the LK Bootloader http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1329379
When you install another ROM, the old one will be replaced by the new one, but there will be some traces that will remain...
So, even though I would like to see a dual-boot wm6+Android we have to admit there is not much memory for it.
As I know, WM runs just like LK Bootloader, from the 3-colour bootloader (HTC).
So if we want to have dual boot, someone must create another WM Bootloader (Bootloaderception), combine it with LK, create a separate partition on the internal memory, find a way to install WM from the 2nd bootloader, and have a selecting screen between.
PROBLEM: WM is closed-source so no one can just simply create a bootloader. (Full stop)
Thank you for trying to understand.
Oh well. Thanks for the help anyway. I'll just try Linux.
Haret is just too limited for me. By Linux, I mean the Linux OS for Android. I'll try it once I get a new SD card.

Noob still on CM 7.1 needs KK.

Every time I trie to update to the latest ROMs I notice they specifically target the new bootloader. I have no idea what the old vs new bootloader dilemma is about but I bet my device runs the old one, I read somewhere the white LG logo on startup hints to an old bootloader,
My question is how to upgrade my bootloader or ROM directly to Kitkat the easiest way possible, I bought my handset already CMed and unrooted but I have never done it myself.
Thank you in advance, and if you could bother throw in some links to relevant threadshttp://forum.xda-developers.com/images/icons/icon8.gif

They are New Bootloader only! The process seems as easy as full wipe + flash the zip (my phone came with ROM Manager 4.5.0.1 with old recovery) but I fear my bootloader in incompatible. Is there a way to update or something.
Also does my sd card and all applications get removed, and how to back them up, also if I brick my device does the recovery still work to flash the back up or what? very noob I know, I learned alot of terms but never managed to make good sense of it all, thank you.............
Oh one minute my ROM Manager has an Install ROM from SD Card button, can I do it right inside ROM Manager?

With that you can backup/resotre and change the bootloader and alot more AiO-Toolkit
If you change the bootloader layout, as i know all stuf will be removed. so make a nandroid backup, if your new rom is not working and make a sdcard backup(also in aio) to get appdata back if you want.
If you dont want to download all apps new after having new rom use titanium backup. the recovery is not breakable. it will always work. not important if you **** your rom

As you do have CM 7.1 installed, I guess you've got a custom recovery installed too? I don't think you can directly use ROM manager to install a kernel, but you can use ROM manager to boot into recovery mode and flash the zip from there Just be sure to make a nandroid backup, just in case KK isn't compatible with 7.1.
If you ever want to get tonyp's CM 11 though, the AIO toolkit, as @Zubeplanet pointed out, is really easy to use to get the new bootloader.
Happy flashing!

[Help] Flashed the wrong rom on..the wrong model

Hi everyone,
I made a "little" mistake and i'm coming for some help
I have the Asus Memopad HD 7. I made some research on the web to flash a new rom and I found this threat about lineage OS. I followed the tutorial and almost everything works fine..
...
...until now ! I'm trying to make my tab' stock rom again but it appears that I flashed a wrong kernel (because the threat is about the Asus Memopad 7, not the "HD" version )
I have acces to the recovery (flashing a rom doens't work "error 255") and fastboot (flashing another recovery doens't work "bad kernel").
Could you please help me to make it stock again ?
Thanks !

I used to have this tablet, i currently have the one lineage was meant for, if im not mistaken the HD version has mediatek, so you can easilly reinstall the stock based rom that is somewhere in these forums, its to flash with sp flash tools, which means you dont even need the tablet on to reinstall, just make sure you have the correct files and drivers
