Hi,
Is there an app or posibility to backup the system settings like titanium backup for apps and their data...
Would be really nice because this is the only thing I have to do manually after flashing a new rom!
Thanks

Okay, and how to do this? Is it save all system data? There all the data from the system apps will be backuped but are there these settings included?

Yes, it can save everything
It's why everyone loves it.
But I wouldn't recommend saving system settings in TB (especially those in RED color) and restoring them to your ROM. It may corrupt your ROM.
So is there a description which setting are saved in which system app? Wifi access points I already found and its green... So I need the settings for desktop icons, display timeout and brightness, ringtone, notification tone, ringtone specified for contact, allowing non-market apps.
Thats everything I changed so far...

RED = Highly recommended not to backup/restore
Green = Mostly safe to backup/restore
Most of what u describe I would input manually. I just batch restore USERS APPS+data only. System settings I don't even touch it.
At least that's my opinion.
yeah works fine thanks

Hello all
Since I flash so much, I was wondering how or if you can back up your wifi settings. Now what I mean is backing up all the networks you connected to and their passwords.
Is there a certain file I can just copy from my SD card?
Thank in advanced

There is an app called IP Manager that lets you create wifi profiles. That may do the trick
Added: Any wifi connections remembered are saved in a file. You can find this at /data/wifi/bcm_supp.conf

Hi everyone I want to remove the default phone and internet app from my phone. I know how to remove others by just deleting the apk in system/app like the gallery and FM radio, but the phone app is different you get force closes.
I'm using dialler one and opera instead but the default ones still pop up sometimes and because I've changed my dpi to 192 the phone app looks crap and annoying.
Can someone help with this please I did a search and couldn't find anything but to be honest the search in the xda app is below par.

Hi, i use Titanium Backup for this. It can backup, freeze and uninstall any app.
First i freeze system apps i do not like, so they are still there are can not be used by user or system. If there is no side effect after using mobile and reboot i uninstall app.
Hope this helps - Cheers
You need to be rooted to remove system apps.
Yeah thanks I am rooted used titanium never even thought of trying that have done the phone app but still unsure on the android browser.

Hi
then first freeze it with Titanium, it doesn't hurt
Hi,
Almost all apps I have are missing from My apps on market, because I restored them via Titanium backup.
I can find all of them on market and they are marked as installed, but they still don't show up in My apps, which makes it impossible to update them.
Is there any way, besides reinstalling one by one (that would be really painful since I have about 100 of them), to bulk-add them back to market?
Go to settings, applications, manage application, all, market, clear history and cache. Should be job done.

That did it, thank you very much!
Basically all I want to know is how to stop, remove or otherwise prevent the 'internal storage is 75% full' notification that appears fairly often.
Better yet how do I move all my files from the phone to the SD card? Mainly photos if I'm honest.
I've tried searching but to be fair the XDA Premium app search function is rubbish, I preferred the free app search feature.

Ride it like you downhill it.
Long touch the notification and select app info, uncheck show notigication or force stop the app

Use a file manager I use antek like previously said you can just stop notifications of the application.. Also download clean master (or something along the lines) it will allow you to clean your cache of all apps and it will also show you big files in order of size so if there are any unwanted its easier to remove

Hello,
I have this very annoying bug on my phone: at each boot the SystemUI falls into a loop of crashes, sometime if I'm lucky it doesn't do it.
Can someone help me?
I can't understand what it depends to

Have you tried a clean install!?
Yes I did, the problem appears indeed after I restore all my apks and settings.
I guess to have found a solution rebooting my phone with airplane mode on. Anyway I provided a logcat and a bugreport and it seems to be an error with some java index.

Yeah, you're right (I think). It happens to me once, when I flash PAC & restore all apps from CM with titanium backup. So try it without restoring apps or restore only apps, not the app+data (restoring data probably causes the force closes).
That's the way I do. I always restore only apps without data and I did it right two days ago. I use PAC 4.3 and Titanium as well.

This bug happens either on boot or whenever I change hybrid settings, set the appbar, active display is on or rarely when I plug it to the charger.

Well, it's weird! My guess is, try without the PA hybrid settings (maybe because you change the dpi of apps or stuff like that). Good luck
