A. No! I Had to rebuild the complete Rom & It's signed with my Key's. You can however Theme this build like you would with samsung!
Q. Can I flash another Kernel to this Rom?
A. Yes, but it will break most fixes ie. GPS hangs CPU Scaling unless you turn off GPS!
Q. Did you build this 100%?
A. No, I started with EDT 2.2.1 Rom and kept what I liked.

Its fairly easy to change the color of the blue text in the settings to the AOSP white by replacing one of the .xml files in the system/media/color file.

it's one of those things I over looked.. plus, I've been trying to put it out for the last 3 day & bug after bug happened & it got forgotten about until I did the Pictures & at which point I said screw it.

Haha its ok. I have been waiting to see a true AOSP clone for a while now. I dont have the knowhow to port the dialer, contacts and phone apk but this honestly looks amazing so far. Made me a very happy guy. That blue text is something easy enough to change so I may just do that later for myself. Thanks again.

Installation Instructions
1. Download and place Bi-Wining_V2_MultiLang_signed.zip on your internal sdcard
2. Reboot into Voodoo or clockwork recovery
3. Perform a factory reset
4. Select zip and choose to install
5. After installation is complete, reboot and wait at least TEN (10) minutes before doing ANYTHING
6. Now reboot again and sign into Google
7. Once sync has stopped I would recommend one final reboot to completely iron everything out.

You can but shouldn't have to as the script does the wipe for you.

The new gps I've noticed seems to be hit or miss. I will more than likely change the files back to S.gps2 as that seems to work best for most. Thanks for the feedback.

Just updated from Beta 2 to Beta 3. Everything feels smooth and great except that I haven't tried out the GPS yet. Thanks a lot for the wonderful work... Where is the stay awake option?
Music Player and Gallery don't load up anything on my phone, but MortPlayer and QuickPic from the market work fine. I have this problem with other ROMs too. Anyone know why?

Stay awake option is located in Settings > Applications > Development. Not sure on the music and gallery. You say this happens on other roms as well? I would try formatting your sdcard and copying all your music/pics back over. Don't forget to copy everything off of it before you do just to make sure you don't lose anything else that might be valuable.

Due to popular request been working on the pulldown to resemble the I9000's actual gingerbread.

Thanks for the suggestion! My music/pic files are in the internal memory (e.g., under /sdcard/music and /sdcard/DCIM), not on the external sd card. Are you suggesting to format the whole sdcard directory?

Yea I'd try formatting the entire internal. It's a PITA, but it might fix your problem. I'd definitely try giving it a go.

Can the Chinese keyboard be uninstalled? I really don't like it Also, can you update the camera with the same shutter button feature (press long for AF) you just implemented in TRIGGER 2.90 ... Great Tom so far ... super smooth and apart from GPS Isis not find any bugs!

New camera will DEFINITELY be implemented in next release. We are also going to try modding the I9000 camera to do the same thing since it's needed for ppl with FFC. I'll see about locating the apk for the Chinese keyboard and letting you know. I might make a flashable for ppl to remove it since I know it's not for everyone.

You should change the Build Prop the Android Version is still Blandroid 2.3.4p0
But as an quick response to upcoming users, I think here was made a clean Job so happy flashing

nice build, but the Gtalk video still doesn't work i was on blandroid before this and had the same problem.

So is this confirmed with this ROM? I'm having current issues with CM7 so contemplating flashing back to stock-ish ROM. This one looks pretty promising as it'd be nice to have 2.3.4 but still have some extras . But does the video chat not work on here even with updated gapps? What if you start the call in silent? Thanks! Glad to see yet another developer here!

I will have a look on the gtalk video today. I don't use it so I haven't testet it.

Pre-Requisites: need to have CWM recovery or TWRP recovery installed.
Enter Recovery
Recommended: do a nandroid back up
Wipe data/factory reset
optional: format system in mounts and storage for extra clean install
select slimICS_vX.X.X.zip to install and wait for it to finish
optional: select addon.zip and face_unlock.zip to install and wait for it to finish
reboot to system.

Yes, zeam is my favourite but i have provided linked to the stock launcher. Light and customizable. More screenies added. Video effects, i am not sure. If you want to tell me what/how to test i will let you know.

I just installed this on 9020T and it's working well. Only weird thing is that the screen keeps flashing red around the edges. Any ideas?

this is now fixed and OP link updated for v1.0.

Rom works well so far. Only thing I noticed is that while my usb cable was plugged into my comp it registered and then later it didnt. I restarted it and put it into clockwork recovery. Fixed permissions and went to reboot and it wouldn't, also tried to power off from cw recovery and it wouldn't. Had to pull my battery. When it restarted it registered and now it works fine. I'll let you know if anything else comes up.
Love the rom other then that though!

Not trying to be bossy, just asking a few questions and giving some advice. Glad we have people like you to stick up for others though... it's a rough world.

aight . I can understand where both of you are coming from , but please stay on topic , with that said :
1st , I need testers it is the first thing I specified in my first 'text post' after the op ..
2nd if you read the op there is A LOT of information ..I have not specified the modem and kernel for a reason .. (you can compare to ALL of my other rom threads )
3rd thank you but I dont need advices I need help testing a device Im tying to support and I do NOT own . Then I will be able to tell you what kernel modem are in the rom (as those currently in the rom are the most recent I found but I do not know there model number as I took them from the latest port of my work that is already in htis forum ported and unsupported )
4th I could put the links up already but if nobody has tested them how serious is that ? so I make a thread and ask for help instead I get one person giving ME advices and the other person telling him to relax .. I m not going to take sides here I m gonna rephrase one last time :
I am not going to have a rom thread become aflame place If someoen is ready to test my ready to release rom , please step up and pm me , I will be glad to take advices from those who test the rom . thank you
If nobody has somethign to contribute to the actual subject of the thread please refrain from posting .
