Make that use it fully. Browser-based interfaces are clunky. The desktop software is recommended.
Noted ... Is there a kies desktop floating around you know of off the top of your head?
or I'll search one up I guess
Thx RJ!!.............
This great for me since I can access this direct from my Ubuntu machine without firing up an XP VM image. Thanks!!!

I can't say for sure - I'm passing on reporting from other sites. Try Google.
This is awesome!!!! Im running Kies Air and it is glorious!!!
I didn't need desktop software. Running it thru Mozilla Firefox...
I was un aware there was any desktop software to match as this is by my source meant to be web based gui which they have use of in the UK already
Anyhow i find it to be very fast and feature rich and something needed.
Maybe ACS should make something thats better?
I suck at screen shots can someone post a couple of the web gui and the apk on the phone please thanks
Couldn't find the Thank you link. Awesome thanks.

Update 7/27:
Beta 1 released.
Panning and Zooming do not suspend screen refreshes.
Panning the screen does not tax your bandwidth as much. Tuned the compression algorithms to handle it intelligently.
Fixed a bug that cause the the screen to "jump" if you panned or zoomed repeatedly.
Implemented right click. Click and hold to send a right click.
Gave click events tactile feedback: they now vibrate your phone for a split second. This feature can be enabled and disabled in the menu.
Implemented several compression techniques. The "best" one is used every frame. Still investigating further tuning of loss-less compression.

I tested another application for that purpose just a few days ago, but it totally messed up my desktop. Changed the resolution and moved all my icons.
this looks to be a very usefull piece of software, im currently using logmein which has always been excellent on my previous pocketpc's but when i use it on the diamond i cannot get my virtual keyboard to work
so im very keen to see how well your app works

Looks real sweet, looking forward to it!
very excited about this, will it be in 16-bit/24-bit colors capable?
would be very cool if we could also use this to control the cursor on our screen as we work with it, and did not need to logoff as on RD 3.0.
An Media center diamond remote could also be a very interesting idea.

I know that at least one app has been developed for iPhone to work with the PSN (on PS3) so that a person can see their friends list, so why can't it been done with Windows Mobile? I don't see how it's not possible (but, I'm not a developer, either).
You CAN see whether your friends are online and their status within a browser at http://www.us.playstation.com/PSN/Home, btw.
I will keep my fingers crossed in hopes that there is something out there for this or that someone would be able to develop a simple app for it.

I know... I would use this all the time. On my way home from work last night I was just thinking "man, I wish I had an app to see if any of my friends are on PSN right now". It'd be so helpful.
But, only a dream as of now. I wish someone would jump on this. If they did I'd be sure to donate to 'em.
The only programs you need to make an app are notepad and a compiler. It sounds more simple than it is though.

Also, with quickoffice, can you create documents from the Captivate? Only thing I see is opening files.
You can not find the apps if you use appbrain have to use the market on the phone.

Ok just a guess but if you are on T-Mobile if you search for Vibrant you will also fine at least 2 apps for the Vibrant. The desk dock and car dock.
From what I understand they will either be on all 4 SGS phones or you can get them from the market but searching for the phones name.

I've had a look at some example code and you're right, it isn't too bad. I will work to make it even more compatible with Honeycomb in the future.
Been using for a few days and has been working flawlessly. I would like to see an option to have users in the channel on the right side like PC programs. there is enough screen width to do this without sacrificing the chat.
Also it might be me but I could not find a way to auto login to a channel.

User list looks good. Can we adjust the font in a future release and also long pressing on a name would ideally bring up options such as ban kick op msg etc. Nice work so far!
I'm new to AndChat and it's quickly becoming my favorite IRC client. How does one auto-join multiple channels on that one-liner? Do we separate by commas or just space? I currently use the auto execute line and add /join for each channel.

2. Download http://www.mediafire.com/file/en3tj77er9ucrqp/libflashplayer.so
3. Use Root Explorer or ADB to put the file in: /data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer/lib

Does this only work on the nexus phones or will other HTC phones do this as well?
Followed all the instructions and I no longer get the

I've let it go a couple minutes before backing out of it, so if anyone knows what I'm doing wrong, any help would be much appreciated.
And... looks like it won't let me post screen shots of it since I haven't hit 8 posts yet...
