[Q] Gingerbread Swype in Italian? - Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have just bought my sgs i9000, installed darky's rom v10 rc5 and it's really good but i can't find the italian dictionary for swype. I have looked all around but i have only founded (and installed without success) swype adds on for darky's rom 9.5... anyone has some advices?
thanx

Up.
I confirm that on Darky's 10.1 Italian dictionary for swype keybord is not available.
Is there any stand alone installer?

I would need for it too

See my Swype for South Europe in my rom addons, it includes Italian!

If you are on Froyo 2.2.1 you can try the Darkslide version..I am not the developer by any means just passing along the information. The entire Darkslide theme is awesome as well. You should not have to do anything but install this in Clockwork and reboot. Of course I would do a backup first just to be sure you can go back afterwards. If you are on GingerBread do not install this file...
for 2.3.3 JVH would be found please?

[Q] Norwegian Keyboard in Juwe's Rom 1.9

Hi, first post on here so i can't post in developement. But basically, i can't get norwegian keyboard on Juwe's rom. I tried 3.1, realized the norwegian wasn't ready for GB, then installed Juwe 1,9 (JS8) Still no norwegian keyboard. Thing is i'm pretty sure it was there when i first tested it, I wrote lots of sms in norwegian, and after messing around with GB and some various kernels the norwegian keys were gone.
Yeah, i know about the apps for it, but would really prefer the samsung one, as it has a fast way of changing between languages.
I know Darkys has norwegian and stock does. Any suggestions on how to get proper norwegian samsung keyboard?
I use Doc's 9.9.5 ROM (JS8, JQI, NEE - these were the "stock" files from the last 2.2.1 Nordic release) with the "stock" JS8 theme, then installed pele's Black Android theme over it. No Norwegian on the GB keyboard, but the Samsung stock works fine.
As you realised a lot quicker than I did, languages are theme dependant... But if you use that base from the online kitchen, you'll get the right keyboard. Then it's a case of see-what-happens if you chose another theme.
Lykke til!

Language pack?

hello!
I tried 2 ginger roms (juves 4.1 and darkys rc5&6). Both are supposed to be based on jvb but only one (juve4.1) has my language in locale(romanian) and i like darkys better. Is there any language pack or something? I asked someone and he told me it's all about the baserom but they ar based on the same rom (jvb). shoul i flash another modem or something?i'm asking because i have seen several arabic paches aroud.

in some custom roms they will remove some locale from rom to save space, if you are familiar with compile and decompile then you can add your locale following this thread

Android 2.3.6 XXJW4 Value Pack and Greek Keyboard

Good morning to all,
I have recently updated my Samsung Galaxy S i9000 to android 2.3.6 XXJW4 value pack and realized there is no Greek language supported for the samsung keyboard.
Greek language is supported by the OS in general (meaning I can set it in regional settings and have all phone menus in Greek), but I do not have it as an option for my keyboard (sms, contacts etc.)
Is there any way I could install it? Is there probably a latest 2.3.6 release that supports Greek keyboard?
Thank you in advance for any and all replies.
Hey
There is only one way..u can download a keyboard app from the market which supports greek..
Theres no official greek lang in d keyboard..
Cheers
