What kind of information would you like? This forum is heavily skewed towards the development of custom firmware and rooted phones. It is not exactly the best place for beginners to learn about their phone. You might like to go to androidforums.com for that.
However, if it helps, you could take a look at the FAQ here:

hey There!
how can i install Roms to Samsung Galaxy Mini?
This one : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1576351
or others?
thank you for help
You must root and flash custom recovery and then you can flash any rom you like but only for mini.
Be aware: by rooting your phone you lost your guaranty, there a little risk to brick your phone so search how to unbrick it or don't do it. I'm not responsible for you can have by flashing everything.

Does anyone has a link to a guide like this?
Search before creating new threads! There are many guides..
I do not respond to tech support via PM
They should remove the search tool... No one uses it anyway.
Click on the guide in my signature...

thank you for replying.
and yes i agree. his link doesn't help much. i've been stalking xda long enough to know that i should read faq and sticky first before asking, and there was nothing in it that gave some definite answer.

Definite answer is you can subject to what's in the faqs and guides regarding firmware versions modems and other problems .
Basic faqs and guides will also give the firmware links that are available from other sources .You are hardly likely to find ICS roms .

Hi Lukas,
you can't post on dev threads yet because you don't have 10 posts made till now
you only need 5 more to go...
try to post here in this ot section in many threads , but stay on topic in those off topic threads

Thread closed as OP has been explained of the reasons behind his question...now, did you just created a thread to ask about the limit in order to post moar posts in order to reach your 10 posts even though you watched a video about not doing this, OP?
If so, my hat off to you OP, you seem to be a smart cookie....NOT!!
Cheers,
