What kind of information would you like? This forum is heavily skewed towards the development of custom firmware and rooted phones. It is not exactly the best place for beginners to learn about their phone. You might like to go to androidforums.com for that.

Hi guys could anybody prepare a stock jellybean rom for this phone?? Really have no idea when Samsung plans to update its midrange devices... Even the s3 rollout isn't complete Somebody pls teach Samsung!!

Because is another useless thread, that's why it has to be closed. Who do you think that can prepare and release a stock firmware for Samsung besides Samsung??? Anyway, since you came up with this thread and with this request for me is clear that you will never notice the differences between the JB and the GB.. So, why do you need JB?

Because we all think that JB is released when we see therad titled " Jelly Bean ROM". It's like you giving us that, not asking for it. When it release there will be thread for it. Till than please don't make us hope it is released now!!! :cyclops:

We can use some part of kernel from sony u/p. But it hard to make kernel without anythings for our phone.

Izap, who is the first person who upload leaked JB for S2 on internet said galaxy s advance will get JB 2 months from now. Maybe in january.

It looks like Sammobile has uploaded official Jelly Bean ROM for Thailand and Indonesia. Since I'm a new user I can't link. But that's what we've been waiting for, right? We should be able to install that without a problem?

as currently it looks like you didn't which is why no replies were posted to begin with

He probably search root 4.1.2 AMC1 and hes probably new to android rooting and worry if the other thread without AMC1 listed would brick his device

This or the toolkit works on all fw.
If you feel like you still want ota or kies to work for updates... don't even try it if you can't even find root on your own
There's a lot more to know than just how to root it.

method should still be the same regardless of AMC or AMD or AMB ROM variant
