bharathp666 over at deviant art created these lovely icons as a replacement for the xda icon. Each to their own of course, but I feel happier with this icon sitting on my homescreen all day long

Can we get a download link?

I believe you click the giant picture and it takes you to one it does on the computer
That's right. Added url for form app users.
I downloaded the Mario themes from the Widgetlocker Theme Collection

However, neither of them came with the Mario icon pictured in the examples. I know I could simply download my own picture of Mario and use it, which I tried. The problem I have encountered is the background color of the Mario - it interferes with background I have. I would like a transparent background for the picture of Mario - is this possible? I'll attach a screenshot of what I am talking about and the Mario icon I'm using. Thanks in advance!
Try this 1 ^ ( open it n save it)
Worked for me

I was looking for an 8 bit version, but this looks very well with my theme! I was really just trying to avoid a 3D version. Thank you very much!

I do like that battery meter. I had been using the Zelda one, which I like quite a bit, but I believe that the 8 bit heart meter fit a bit better with my theme. Thank you!
Very welcome.

I think that 8bit mario goes better with the theme, I've made it less cluttered now. I enjoy using the 8 bit zelda heart meter but I wish I could find a mario one! Oh well, thanks much gplock! I'll attach a picture of my lock screen if you're interested in how it turned out.
Looks good! Congrats!

Hello XDA community. I'be been recently searching for a 'Journey' boot animation with the Soundtrack from the game in the background. If someone who might be willing to male one or knows where I can find one that would be most helpful. I'm also looking for a theme with icons based from the game in it as well

JaeKar99 as well as others have posted up "how-tos" on making your own boot animations. I always make my own, as I usually want something plain and simple. You can make your own icons as well, easy to replace the current icon in the apk, with your "custom" icons before you flash the rom.
I'm not good with art programs. I'm lucky I can draw a square in paint lol

There is a tutorial on here somewhere that shows you how to make a boot animation from a YouTube video. Then just find an mp3 that has the music you want and exchange it for the boot audio that is currently deactivated in aokp by default.

Oh I have another question didn't wanna make another thread.
The question is how do we make animations as in android os animations like window animations and stuff e.g fly in animation. What I want 2 make is a simple one that just slides. If you have ever used adw ex it has that option for app opening animation (the slide one) I wonder if its possible to take the required codes for that ani from the launchers source code and replace it with all os animations not just app opening

Don't think making a launcher is easy, if you have zero knowledge don't even ask how.

But everyone starts from zero.
They ask, learn and become a professional.
The ultimate HD experience and James Bonds likes it.

xperia Z first stock wallpaper with black bottom
the gray/white bottom make really bad illusion that almost of people at first look realize the screen is completely white and etc.
this wallpaper with black menu/notification bar in development forum can help u to have more deep black experience on xperia z
:good:
