did anyone try superoneclick 1.9.1 on nexus one with 2.3.3 or 2.3.4?
I tried and it's not working.
Try it. SuperOneClick is not working on 2.3.3
Gingerbreak.apk v1.2 is working on 2.3.3 but not 2.3.4
Gingerbreak isn't working for 2.3.4, any alternate solutions?

I tried SuperOneClick (2.3.4) without succes. How do you root yours?
Kind regards, Lasse
Ok well to root you'll need to either unlock the bootloader or passimg back to frg33. If you passimg back then you can root with superoneclick if you unlock the bootloader then ask me and I will give you some instructions on how to do it.
1. Unlock the bootloader.
2. Flash custom recovery.
3. Flash su or a rooted rom.
If you can't or don't want to do this sell your phone. You should not have a dev/GED period.
not working on 2.3.4. why not flashing a rooted rom? not difficult.

Well it's cause if you want to flash a rooted ROM you'll need to have root access and if he had root access he would not need superoneclick.

You can try the passimg from http://developer.htc.com
or you could just use the rageagainstthecage method instead, which is fine on 2.2.1
Passimg won't be able to downgrade, it'll say "trying to flash older version". To avoid it, the phone needs to be rooted. And OP wants to downgrade the phone to be able to root - so it's a loop .
Using rageagainstthecage method is the only way to root with locked bootloader.
If i root using ChainFires method, will i still be able to unroot and go back to stock Froyo 2.2 at any time?

I found it easier to just unlock the bootloader and rooting instead of downgrading and oneclick rooting.
Hi Guys,
I am now on stock ROM V20L and successfully rooted thanks to TrymHansen's guide from this forum. I remember that on Froyo you can easly unroot phone in one click with SuperOneClick tool. How to do it on Gingerbread? Just uninstall Superuser or something more? I am asking this in case of warranty issues...
Cheers
As far as I know, you can still easily unroot with SuperOneClick.
