[Q] How to unroot phone with stock ROM V20l - LG Optimus 2x

Hi Guys,
I am now on stock ROM V20L and successfully rooted thanks to TrymHansen's guide from this forum. I remember that on Froyo you can easly unroot phone in one click with SuperOneClick tool. How to do it on Gingerbread? Just uninstall Superuser or something more? I am asking this in case of warranty issues...
Cheers

As far as I know, you can still easily unroot with SuperOneClick.

I tried SuperOneClick (2.3.4) without succes. How do you root yours?
Kind regards, Lasse
Ok well to root you'll need to either unlock the bootloader or passimg back to frg33. If you passimg back then you can root with superoneclick if you unlock the bootloader then ask me and I will give you some instructions on how to do it.
1. Unlock the bootloader.
2. Flash custom recovery.
3. Flash su or a rooted rom.
If you can't or don't want to do this sell your phone. You should not have a dev/GED period.
not working on 2.3.4. why not flashing a rooted rom? not difficult.
Sent from my Nexus One using XDA App

Well it's cause if you want to flash a rooted ROM you'll need to have root access and if he had root access he would not need superoneclick.

[Q] should root the galaxy note before upgrading it to 2.3.6?

Hi everyone, just wanna know should root the galaxy note before upgrading it to 2.3.6?
according to my reading of other instruction thread, there's no mention of root before flashing device. So no need to root before flashing? I'm just not very certain about that.
maybe it's a silly question.im newbie.
thx everyone
My rooted 2.3.5 got unrooted after the 2.3.6 update via Kies. So I'd update your phone 1st before root.
could anybody can answer my question, who already flash their note?
Flashing Stock Rom will unroot your device, so no point of rooting before flashing. check here for rooting instructions

sorry this is a kdz file.....i missed your message...did not read it properly.....
If you downgraded to Froyo, stock kdz one, you will normally have access to standard update with LG update tool, won't you?
Or you root, instal cwm and a GB ROM.
Thanks for your help!
