Well being bored, for me, is better than siting myself from 8.15 to 15.00 at school and learning some stuff which I wouldnt need in my whole life !!!
like what the hell is past continuos or present continous (learning english in Latvia)!!! I can speak in english and write in it but now I even need to know some stuff which I dont need!!!

And I just hit 350...yep....I look at all the 349 other useless posts I have placed and came to one conclusion...all but 1 of them was useless.

For me, there are five days boring in a week. I'm only alive on weekend and holiday. When can I retire?? Every day is boring!

Dont become bore. You have to go for the out side, long drive, go in restaurent, take the tour etc. Life is so much beautiful, you have to make the beautiful life. It is depend upon you. Then after you are getting the enjoy from the life and also from the work whatever you can do.

Well, I'm actually not that far in the relationship with this girl but if I was I would let her decide what we should do during the day (shopping or whatever she wants to do). At the evening I would prepare a delicious homemade dinner with starter and dessert, give her a massage and probably suffer through a romantic movie (I would concentrate more on the cuddling with her than the story though)
I would probably also give her some jewelry at the dinner if I could afford it but... I'm a student ^^

We don't do Valentine's day.. because we are cheap like that

From my estimates, the "geek" subspecies of humanity will be extinct by 2060-ish.
Only 2 are prepared for this event, while the rest are unprepared or even unaware of the existence of said event.

I procrastinated, didn't get anything, just told her I'd take her to the book store. She was happy. She got me the BBC Planet Earth on blu ray.

I met a girl on the cruise ship I was on for the last 4 months. She's still there... looks like I'm off the hook? lololol

Well believe it or not, on XDA I am allowed to post in whatever thread I want, and if it means you get butthurt let it be.
Also what is the whole point with hand egg? In the play offs they only play one game with each team. It should be like hockey where you actually need skill and determination, and not just luck, since you have to win at least 4 games with one team before you can go to the next round.

Yep. They have like 8 teams play in the play offs. So there are 4 games first round, then you have 4 teams left, 2 games, and then the super bowl. Maybe you have a bit more teams at the beginning. In hockey you have 7 games between the teams before going to the next round.

Don't feel like quoting on my phone. Physical...with 20 kilos of protection. Not sure if you ever played rugby. I had a hard time standing straight for 2 days. And hockey is just as if not more physical. Getting slammed by a 200+ pound guy against a wall is worse than the same hit without a wall. Trust me.

I do remember people parking their cars in the middle of the street on Saturday because the street was so crowded with all the party goers that you couldn't drive down it anyway.

He made a point that hockey is clearly a tougher sport too. And it is. Football-play for 10 seconds then stop. Repeat. Hockey-play 3 periods of checking, falling, fights, pucks hittig you, falling on ice (hurts)

Well, he's in rehab now. Noone blows up like that because they are truly angry. He did it because he was inebriated. Good call on his part, because he has 3 albums coming out back to back, and he'll be touring all next year. Best for him to get healthy or he'll die on the road.

I almost forgot again which could have led to some embarrassment. Personally i think DST is a ridiculous and pointless exercise which should be scrapped. Time is immutable. Stop screwing with it!

In America the clocks get adjusted to fit the seasonal change in daylight hours.
It's because some jobs are dependent upon hours of daylight, so instead of just waking up earlier, we go to all the trouble of changing our clocks by an hour twice a year.

DST does not apply to most countries that are close to the equator, as the length of the day does not change much from Summer to Winter.
Singapore (Montoyatok's location) happens to be one of them, although DST did apply once.
P.S. If you are in the U.K., some banks shut their ATMs down over this period, (1 to 2 am, Sunday) to stop the transactions being screwed up by the time change. Progress!

Also, Spring forward, Fall back. That's how I usually remember it.

There are a lot of people that want to stop doing it, me included. But then all of these parents start screaming "think of the children". They are afraid that their urchins will get run over if it is dark out when they are waiting for the school bus.

That's what happens when you live on a Gas Giant.

Actually, there are some energy benefits to DST. It allows us to consume less barrels of oil for energy with the clocks rolled forward. Now if we get greener energy sources in the US, then I'm all for scrapping it...

Showing my age here, but any Brits remember the experiment from 1968 to 1971 when the UK remained on British Summer Time all year?
In Northern England we went to school in the dark, in Scotland it was even worse, the dark lasted longer. We had to wear stupid PVC tabards with reflective panels front and back, that nearly made you pass out from the fumes from the plastic.
It ran for two years before they ditched the idea.
