Thanks for your reply.
How did you manage to modify it, by replacing the .png's using winrar (keeping the apk intact) ?

Hey,
rename the .apk to .zip extract the res folder modify png's as required, then drag res folder back to the zip, overwriting the orig'
then change .zip back to .apk & sign with apk manager
Just a heads up tho... you might be better off using the honeycomb theme as a base, as the classic theme will shrink your icons, unless you delete certain png's, not at home at the mo' so can't check which 1's
Thanks for your reply.
Still could not get this to work,
Im using autosign to sign the APK,
You it just says "application not installed"
Not really sure what im doing wrong with it

Here is a HTC Froyo Sense theme for the Huawei Ascend.
Must have root permissions
Version 0.5
Download: View attachment HTCFroyoAscend.zip (metamorph)
Make clock white after install:
After you reboot, open Root Explorer.
With root explorer, browse to /system/build.prop.
Long tap on build.prop and select Open in Text Editor.
Scroll down and find hw_customizetype=01 and change it to hw_customizetype=02.
Save your changes and reboot.
Or simply download and replace the build.prop with the one that is attached to this thread.
Download: View attachment buildprop.zip
Does this theme run smooth? And with what launcher does it work with?
Sent from my M860 using XDA App
Yes, it runs the same its just a theme. It's not like a theme in windows. This just replaces stock images that is on the phone. Any launcher works.

Resore the Nand backup that you made right before installing this theme If you use ZipThemer to install themes instead of MetaMorph, it has a much less painful "undo" feature.
OP, I've attached an updated version of the theme that also installs build.prop into /system/. Note that in this updated version, everything is in the root of the zip file instead of inside the HTCFroyoAscend directory (required for compatibility with ZipThemer).
And that comment in the <useless> tag looks awfully familiar, just like the one I put in my HtcBlackStatusBar theme for the Eris
Ken
what nand back up????????
I actually used your xml file, was to lazy to recreate it since I was using your theme as a reference. Hope that's ok =] the rest I did =] thanks!
With the newly packed theme, It's strictly for cricKet users now. Ill repack one for MetroPCS users when I get home.

I accidently activated the theme using metamorph without making a back up. What can i do if i want to revert back?
Well I used metamorph to install the theme and it looks good...but my notification bar didn't change to black. Only black boxes around my 3G, signal, and battery. Did I do something wrong?
Sent from my M860 using XDA App
If the notifican bar has black around the icons on it the bar has changed to black,its not showing up because the buildprop file needs to be edited. Use root explorer and long press the buildprop file and open it in text editor,find hw_customizetype=01 and change it to hw_customizetype=02 save changes exit and reboot.
Thanks dude. Works great now. Looks awesome

--Update Feb 20--
Sorry guys had to remove the link to this theme as requested by sopL87. Please look at my post on page 2. If I have time I'd like to ask NeoPhyTe.x360 if he's let me post an edited verison of his AuraxTSense theme thereby fixing this problem...
--Original Post--
This is my favourite theme because of the transparent look. I really like the alpha transparencies on the status bar so even with a while background it still shows everything. I've updated it to fix some graphics issues that were bugging me...
- Removed black line under transparent status bar
- Created new lockscreen as old one wasn't displaying properly
- Changed "InCall" lockscreen as I think the author forgot this
- Updated HTC Skin Preview
- Resigned APK (installs no worries)
Special thanks to the original author NeoPhyTe.x360 for creating this awesome theme. Also thanks to sopL87 for porting NeoPhyTe.x360's theme over to Desire HD.
----Instructions-----
Simply copy .apk to microSD card and install with a file manger as you would any other app. Using stock HTC Sense UI, open your personalize menu and then select Skin, then choose AuraxTSense.
Enjoy

revolution hd
does this theme works on revolution hd rom?
thx
^^ Um I don't see why not. I mean I've not personally tried Revolution ROM but I have tried this theme on Sense UI, Laucher Pro and ADW.Launcher and they all work. If you are using Launcher Pro or ADW.Launcher for me the only way I could seem to use the theme was to install the .apk file then switch into Sense UI then select the AuraxTSense Skin in under your Sense Profile/Skins. Finally I'd switch back to Laucher Pro or ADW.Launcher and the skin would remain on. My guess is if using a custom launcher other than the stock HTC Sense one you may well need to have Sense installed to select this skin.
is it possible to put down all transparent?
so that we do not see the buttons?

This is exactly what lead me to edit this theme so yeah I can highly recommend doing some editing. Very easy to do. Just rename the .apk theme file to a .zip file and you can open up all the folders and see all the images. Many have sensible easy to find names like statusbarXxxxxx or lockscreenXxxxxx. Use your favourite image editing software or just grab the images from other themes. Then you just need to copy the edited files back into the original zip with the program 7-zip or winRAR and then you'll also need to search for Stericsson's Autosigning tool. The Auto Sign tool resigns the .apk otherwise Android won't allow you to install the .apk.

this is in original AuraxTSense...
Thank you for the "update", especially the <Removed black line under transparent status bar>
I must try
thanks
afetr modification, I can't install my modifed apk
^^ You need to resign the .apk file with Stericssons Autosign tool. Word of advice is DO NOT choose the option in Stericssons tool to install the registry file. If you install the registry file every .zip file you double click to open will instead be signed by the tool and there is no easy way to uninstall. I had to do a load back to a previous restore point in Windows 7 to get rid of that. So the best thing is when opening up Stericssons AutoSign tool is first thing delete the .reg file so you cannot accidently modify your registry. Using the tool you only need to choose the option 4 to manually sign your .zip or .apk file.
If you really run into problems and can't figure it out PM me. I'm happy to send you the autosign tool you or to sign the .zip or .apk if need be... be warned though I'm just about to move interstate so I will be pretty busy for the next bit. I may not have time to go on XDA for a little while, just have to see.
Sorry guys sopL87 has brought to my attention that I've accidently broken the forum rules by not contacting the authors before posting their edited work. He requests that I remove the link to the theme so I have removed the link.
I am moving interstate tomorrow so I'll be busy for a while but I'd like to contact the original author NeoPhyTe.x360 when I have time and see if he would let me post an edited version of his AuraxTSense theme. Again this will take time. If all is good I'll post back here if this is a go.
Sorry guys my bad...
arf bad luck ,
I wait for new info .
Sorry for you .
Thanks

Hello all, this is my first theme release! This is a metamorph framework for MDPI devices inspired by HC Reedited icons by dj_deez. Also included is the honeycomb lockscreen font. More details included in the readme.
Tested on Froyo by Lazslo
How to use Metamorph:
Always Nandroid before flashing any theme.
1. Download and install the Metamorph app from the Android market.
2. Open Metamorph, allow checks and Superuser. Press menu, open settings and increase Metamorph Delay to 3500 or so.
3. If this is a new theme, choose Unzip/Extract new theme and navigate to downloaded theme zip file on your SD card.
4. Click on the zip file and Metamorph will extract the theme files automagically.
5. Information about the theme may be displayed. Select "Close" when done.
5. A list of all the sub-themes will be displayed. Click ‘Apply All!’
6. Select "Continue" to apply framework-res themed files.
7. Reboot if it doesn't happen automatically.
Tips:
- Once you have completed all the checks in the Metamorph, you can Disable startup checks in Metamorph settings. You can also Disable the warning regarding framework-res too.
- After you've Metamorphed once, you can delete the theme zip file from your SD card if you'd like. The extracted theme is saved in AndroidThemes on your SD card.
Extras:
Included in the extras folder is a wallpaper pack as well as a dock and icon set for ADW launcher. However I'm sure they will also work with launcher pro (not tested)
Enjoy, Comments & Criticism Welcome!

Hi.
This is tutorial "how to make themes to QQLauncher". It's pretty easy
What you need:
- Android 1.5+ phone
- QQLauncher
- 7-Zip
- Notepad++
- Photoshop, GIMP or whatever you like for resizing pngs
-----------------------------------
1. First you need to install QQLauncher (like a normal app).
2. Then download theme from online gallery (follow menu button -> Theme -> Theme gallery -> choose one of themes, i.e. "复古印象"), but don't apply it!
3. Now connect your phone to computer and navigate to "sdcard/QQLauncher". You need to copy "log.log" file and theme (with strange chinesse name) from "theme" folder to your desktop.
4. Open your "log.log" file with Notepad++ and you'll see lines like these:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
- in blue square there is app name
- in yellow app package name (like in "data/app")
- in red app activity name - we need this to name icon
5. Find icon which you want to add (if you need to resize it, there are recommended sizes <because QQLauncher doesn't support icon scalling>: for HDPI 86x86 to 90x90 and MDPI 53x53 to 65x65) and rename it to this "com.cih.gamecih2.gamecih" (you need to write all name in lowercase, otherwise it won't work!)
6. Open your theme file with 7-Zip and copy icon to "icons" folder.
7. If you want to have other dockbar background, you need to replace "dock_bg.png" file in "icons" folder.
8. If you want to have other app background for apps without definied icons, you need to replace "appbackground.png" file in "icons" folder.
9. Copy your theme file to "sdcard/QQLauncher/theme" and apply it in Theme gallery
----------------------------
If you have any questions or suggestions to this tutorial, just write me on PM
Amazing !! Thx a lot, i'll try this week end.
Thanks!
8.1 if you wanna change folder icon put image called folder.png
Okay, i want to theme the ChompSMS icon, so i just isntalled it, but in the log.log file, I cant even find chompsms, so what should i do. Ill attach my log.log file
Hmmm, I don't see it in your log file. Try to find apk file in "data/app" and then search for it in log

@supetawesomedude you said you just installed it, you have to reboot after install to update log, so just reboot then browse your log
@supetawesomedude, just delete log.log file and then restart launcher, I will generate with these app you have got

i dont hav any task killer!
but this launcher seems to kill itself every now and then and .. restarts!
is it only me? :-s
i love this launcher! please help!
Not working for me
Anyone mind taking a stab at making a theme using the icons (with permission from teh OP) from here? http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1225629
What the hell, I've added many icons to my own personal theme and I have correctly named, replaced, resized, compressed, and then I renamed the zip file to 圆润有爱 and then placed in the qqlauncher. then i try to apply it, and it gives my some kind of error in chinse. I have no idea what to do, ill attach my 圆润有爱.zip as a link to mediafire. http://www.mediafire.com/?693bt619sdg4iq9
You've choosen another theme you are working on NOW first?
So apply other theme, mount USB, put file in QQlauncher/theme
and then unmount USB, go to themes and apply the new one?
Or?
add the right appbackground.png for my theme
download here --> http://www.sendspace.com/file/8cni4s [1050 icons]
Hi guys, i have a strange problem on my gf phone with qqlauncher.
She has a sonyericsson x10 mini pro, and with QQL i cannot add widget bigger than 3 colums. If i try to add a 4x1 for explample, QQL says that i haven't enough space on home... But i can add 4 folders or icons.
Gentlemen...... Behold!
...SHADES OF YELLOW...
After much studying and learning, I have made this yellow theme for myself and decided to release it to others to share.
***THIS IS A WORK IN PROGRESS***
This is only tested on existz' aospX rom for HTC Desire HD/Inspire 4G. The icons and xml edits are all there though, so if you are adventurous go ahead and decompile and use em.
ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS DO A NANDROID BACKUP!!! NO EXCUSES!

Other colors will follow as well.
TO-DO:
-finish theming the System UI and Frameworks
-theme the Google Apps
-theme all system apps
-anything else blue, gotta go.
-make more colors. NEXT UP IS PURPLE (wife's request )

Ya the icons are separate.
