At first i tried updating to the latest available update from Kies, once again it ****ed up my phone. So i flashed the latest stock update with Odin. At first i could not open up my Phone app/Contact app tho i got a signal and my Network was working perfect. I went into recover mode and cleared the cache and set the phone to default wipe. Now i get a phone signal, can open up all the applications but i get no Network signal. How can i fix this? Thanks in advanced, Wicksy.

Have you tried going into the network APN settings and checking that they are the same as what your network provider uses?

Hi,
I have a G1 which I bought in US and got it unlocked by T-Mobile before I moved to India. All functionalities of the phone works fine, except it is not registering on any network. It is able to find all the available networks, but it is not registering. I know that the sim card is fine as the same sim card works on a different phone that I have.
When I try to select the network using "Select automatically" option or by selecting my home network on found network list, I get the message "Unable to connect to this network at this time. Please try again later."
Could you please help me in getting this issue resolved. The following are the details of my phone:
Model Number: HTC Dream
Android version: 2.2.1
Baseband version: 2.22.23.02
Kernel version: 2.6.35.9-cyanogenmod
Mod version: CyanogenMod-6.1.0-DS
Build number: FRG83
I see the following status:
My phone number: unknown
Network: unknown
Service state: Out of service
Roaming: Not roaming
Mobile network state: Disconnected
I have also attached the results of logcat -b radio > radio.txt with this thread.
This phone was working fine in India with stock android V1.6. The issue started only after I started to root it by downgrading to V1.5. May be I am not correct with this finding.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Ram.
Did you find a solution to that problem? I have the same problem except I was still on 1.6 when my G1 stopped working.
Hi, I have GT-P1000 tab unlocked and I just flashed it with Overcome ROM v2.0.0 GOLD, following instructions from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1074759
I installed modem for GT-P1000 Tab (Asia/Europe/ Middle East/Oceania/Africa)
All is good except that I don't have voice or data since then and I have "no service" notification on screen.
When I try to setup Mobile Networks in Wireless and Network, I receive "Insert SIM card to access network services", although sim card is inserted. I tryed 2 sim cards until now, from two different networks, sim cards that worked before.
Model number GT-P1000
Firmware version 2.3.3
Kernel version 2.6.35.7 - Overcome-v3.0.0#36
Build number Overcome v2.0.0
Baseband version Unknown
Output of *#1234#:
PDA: P1000XXJQ1
PHONE :Unknown
CSC: P1000OXAJQ1
I hope somebody can help.
Thank you.
Problem was resolved, I did't have modem installed. Now it's working.
Awesomeness :d
The baseband is the modem.

How did you install the modem? I have a similar issue and there is no IMEI number on my device.
Hi all,
I was hoping someone could help me with a problem I have had for a while. Fairly frequently, my network drops out, for example when receiving calls or trying to make calls. This often happens multiple times in a row (that is, I have to try 5 or so times to make a call, as the network keeps dropping out).
I have searched around and believe that it is the RIL that keeps crashing, although I’m not sure what to do about it.
Phone information:
Model Number: GT-N7000
Android version: 4.0.4
Baseband version: N7000XXLA4
Kernel version: 3.0.15-1068447 [email protected] #3SMP PREEMPT Tue Aug 28 16:14:38 KST 2012
Build Number: IMM76D.XXLRT
Originally I flashed an AU GB rom via PC Odin, and then performed a full wipe. I then flashed LRQ via PC Odin, and updated OTA to LRT. I experienced this problem while on LRT, so I flashed the modem contained in the Australian GB rom for my network provider (Optus), but this did not fix the problem. I have experienced this problem on other ROMs in the past, but cannot provide details about the specific ones I tried.
I live in Australia and am on the Optus network.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to prevent my network signal dropping off frequently when making/receiving calls?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the reply. I just flashed LRK, because I had it on my computer. It seems to be working fine now, but I'll have to try it out for a bit. I'm not certain this will fix the issue as this modem was bundled with the LRQ ROM I flashed initially, with which I experienced this problem.
If it doesn't work out, I will flash LR1 and get back to you.
Thanks again for your help.
Any other suggestions?
I haven't had the opportunity to keep testing the changes yet. Is it safe to assume that the problem is caused purely by the modem, or are there other changes I can make to try and fix it?
Is there a way to check whether the RIL and modem match on my phone?
Thanks
Hi,
I recently installed JellyBeer 4.18 on my Samsung Galaxy Note coming from stock gingerbread.
The problem I'm having however is that I don't seem to have any connectivity with the cellular network.
Even emergency calls do not work.
When trying to find any mobile networks nothing shows up either.
Phone info:
Model Number: GT-N7000
Android version: 4.22
Baseband version: N7000XXLSO
Kernel version: 3.0.31-CM-ga034655
JellyBeer-4.18-02MAY2013-065910
I figured it could have been the radio since I was using an outdated GB one so I flashed N7000XXLSO but that didn't help either.
Already checked IMEI and after flashing this ROM it's still the same.
I wanted to post this in the official JellyBeer thread, but I'm "new" here even tho I've been a forum lurker for quite a while so I don't have enough posts do go and do that.
Did I nuke my antenna somehow?
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance
some things you can do
check you apn settings
repair pin prompt, see one of my threads for lpy, its got a link to a possible solution
try restore your efs backup.
reflash modem
at own risk
Flashed "Xperia Z1 - C6903 - Kernel + Baseband [14.4.A.0.133].ftf" and forgot to uncheck parts. flashed the whole lot. guessing the Modem isnt correct for my phone/country? Lost all data. I get normal cell reception but i never pick up cell data. Called my provider (Virgin) and checked all APN settings. They said from their end my phone is rejecting data?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
