[Q] Psx games and paid apps

Hello , i want to ask if i can play psx games on dhd and if its free and if there is any chance of getting paid games/apps for free .
Thank you for answer , im planning to buy this phone , but i want to be sure about some things .

You have to first purchase an app called PSX Droid from the market, and you have to get the games yourself, use google, that's all I can say. I'd say the Desire HD plays PSX games better than any other phones so far.

Read the rules, XDA doesn't allow for discussion on piracy. Please respect the devs and purchase their apps

Dude, before you start acting clever, I'm pretty sure a MOD went through this before you did, there is no mention of piracy here, you could be illiterate so I apologise if you are. I PURCHASE my products, ahhhhhh......that concludes my ***** fit. Adios.

How can I see if you are a MOD or not?
Sometimes there are beta-programs or special adverticeing campains were you get an app for free if you state that you se it on your web-page or signature.
Personally I dont know about any right now!

Do not discuss warez, request them or even inquire on how to get "free" apps.

Describe the game; as there are many jump games on the market. Is it s cow jumping, a ball that jumps over holes or a little wierd guy in a jet pack? And which direction do you jump?
Also a word to the wise, asking for someone to post a link to download an app is called app trading and can get you and the poster banned, just my $0.02. No harm in asking for the name though...

If it is a free game it is not warez. If it is paid then yes warez is against XDA rules.

If you are asking about the game called The Impossible Game where you are an orange box that jumps over things, then you are asking for a paid game; which, as you pointed out, is against the rules. Unless you are refering to a different game?
Please understand, I was not trying to start anything and I'm not a mod; so I'm not going argue the rules. That part of my post was just a heads up to protect you and others. I want to keep everyone safe and I don't want to see you or anyone else kicked off xda for gray area post. Free apps are a gray area, it is better to be safe than sorry. Since I joined over 2 years and 1000 posts ago, I have seen many members get kicked for posting links for paid AND free apps/programs;anyways back to the subject at hand, are you asking about the game in this youtube video?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XTKzMUAonw

I have no idea what game he is talking about. I was just pointing out if it was a free game there is no issue. We are on the same page, just talking in different terms.

I have the latest version of the screencast apk on my box account and itll get past the liscense check and works fine! Idk if im allowd to post a link to a crackd app or how u guys feel about crackd apps so ill wait to post a link till it gets hits or i get a confirmation that i can post it

I don't mind, but some people on here get overworked about it. It's kind of like posting a keygen or serial for Photoshop or some program some people care (ones who actually buy software) and the some don't (ones who don't buy software and pirate it)

Up to three years ago, I was one of the latter (ones who don't buy software and pirated it) and didn't care.
Then I switched jobs and work for a small (less than 30 employees) software company.
Now that making my mortgage payments is contingent upon the sales revenue of the company, I have an entirely different outlook on the subject.

I understand .. but im not 18 or have cash for a card lol.. so i just buy wen i can and get free wen i can ... if i get a paid apk free .. and i really like it 9 times out 10 ill buy it ... cause updates are nice lol

Its a FPS online game which you gain XP and level up and stuff. It's free and SUPER addictive. It is the world's fastest shooter game. It may take a day for you to get the aiming down... The point of their giving referral awards is to get more people to tell others about the game. He could have just given a link to the game, for what you get from clicking on it. But he also gets some sort of reward, for sharing it with other people.
By your attitudes, I would have to assume that you think that ALL postings of referral links are poor attempts to get awards.
Well.. the point of posting the link for the user is to get rewards, and the point of giving the rewards for the developer is to get more people to play the game so.. I don't see what's wrong here.

Agree, nothing is wrong here ...... OP clearly states what he posted , he might give you codes as he said.... There is nothing you will lose if you join with his link. You can Google or search YouTube about the game. It looks decent IMO.

Well... It would be greatly appreciated! If you don't want the money, I'd be happy to return the favour somehow... I've been sending interesting Ingress artwork to Brandon Badger on Google+ who is giving out codes to people who impress him with something... but he has had about 4000 people add him to their "circles" in the last 3 days... so I'm guessing his inbox is a little flooded.
