[Q] Question: How to safely return to stock AT&T

Anyone know how to go back to stock AT&T firmware? I am currently on overcome 1.6.4
I tried following thread and all I get is blackscreen and some vibrations.

Fortunately I had download mode and was able to go back to overcome 1.6.4 safely ROM again.
Please help with instructions to get back to stock AT&T. I have sold my TAB (extra) and buyer is asking for AT&T stock.
I have searched multiple times and was not able to find anything. Experts - please help.

Hi cnewsgrp. Did you ever figure out how to get stock working? Looks like not everyone had success reverting to stock in the thread you posted.
Hopefully we can get some more feedback from someone who has had success with the procedure.
Btw, I need to return my tab to have the touchscreen repaired which is why I need to restock.

Getting the "official" update after installing the leaked update

Hi, I've looked and can't find the answer. I am not rooted nor do I want to root. I would like to do the leaked 5.7.893, can I just download it and go into stock recovery? Is it possible to get the "official" update still if something changed or is there a way to go back to the original 5.5.886 like with the droid x being able to SBF back to froyo. Again I have no intention of rooting, any help would be greatly

yes you can install the leak but you will not be able to go all the way back. you can take the system back but you will still have the new kernal and radio. you cannot change those till the bootloader gets unlocked.

Need to unroot and return to original stock/rom?

hi everyone
I need to unroot the tab back to stock and get back to original rom and kernel. I saved all files I needed onto usn but just need to be sent along the right path. Such as what order do I do it all in?

Find the Overcome 4.1 thread and in it there is a link to an install guide within that, there are instructions on setting the Tab back to stock GB.

I'm not to sure if I have unrooted but here is my tablet information:

Is this unrooted and back to stock?
I want to take off the task650 also and return it to samsung rom, how do I do this?

[Q] HELP PLEASE with stock, root and more???

So i have decided to give my galaxy mini a new life with custom roms.
I have done my fair share of readin
I am not a complete noob and know my way around with these things
But i am still confused on some questions
1.Do i have to root before installing cwm recovery? I don't think that is a necessity
2. What do i have to do to return to stock?
As far as i have read, i just have to redo the steps taken to update to 2.3.x . (the phone is already on 2.3 to start with)will that be all?? I read phones getting bricked and flashing all 4 files to go back to stock and what not.
Can any one provide comprehensive steps or a link may be to return to complete stock including the stock recovery?
3. Also, can anyone link me up to stock firmwares And the necessary drivers? I live in INDIA.

Can I use flashfire to go back to stock firmware?

This phone gets no more support. I am using extreme Rom and have loved it but would like to go back to stock. Is Odin the only option? If I can use Flashfire is their a direct link to the files necessary? Thanks in advance for any help.
