This phone gets no more support. I am using extreme Rom and have loved it but would like to go back to stock. Is Odin the only option? If I can use Flashfire is their a direct link to the files necessary? Thanks in advance for any help.
Cant get any love in here

You need to find the stock rom files and run them through Heidmall, no big deal as long as you can find the stock rom files.

I did not... in my case, my TAB is not branded, so I used JMI stock from the above link. I unzip the file and the results file I just added in Odin together with PIT file and that's all. System reverting to stock, also CWM was replace d with stock recovery.
there is a video tutorial posted on Youtube (is for T-mobile, but was the same procedure for me). hope it helps!
Need Help "Stuck on bootup
can Someone help me please, I have rooted Galaxy tab and today I tried to flash Arabic Rom. It did load every thing and Odin said Pass and it was green. But since then I only can get to "GalaxyTab Samsung" boot screen. doesnt let me to go to recovery mode. only can turn it off and can also go to Download and connect to PC.
I did try to flash it many time. but its the same after finishing flash, it only goes to first boot screen and stuck
You most likely have an ext4 rom and rfs kernel, or vise versa.
If it's stock kernel, than you have an ext4 rom most likely.
My best guess is you need to convert your kernel to ext4.
Sent from my "way better than an iPad" tab.
My final goal is to flash Slim ICS, which I've done on quite a few galaxy s1 i1900 phones.
Here things went awry..
I'll try and keep this short - I tried something which did not work, have gone through the "phone--!--Computer" stage, flashed an AT&T stock rom through Odin hoping to be able to root it, install rom manager and CWM recovery and install my desired rom. This did not work.
On this AT&T rom I can't even find rom manager in the play store.
What I'm looking for is a way to flash a rom and kernel via Odin, preferably rooted, so that I can then flash recovery and so forth...
Any suggestions will be most welcome!
Thanks
Why not use TRusselo's Flashing Guide ?? It is up to date.
There is no need to get Root first in order to flash a Dev Rom.

Thanks very much for the link! I've searched quite a bit before posting but couldn't find anything relevant.
I'll go over it and try, fingers crossed.
Hello all, I'd like to apologize in advance if this is covered somewhere but I searched and may just be missing it.
So here's the issue. Bought galaxy tab 8.9 wifi around when it was released. Used it for a few months. Played with a few roms and kernels, got a ****ty rom combination and just lost interest in the roms (mostly because work forced me into an iphone so I had to give up my gnex).
Fast forward a year I pick up my tablet again.
Played around with it for a day and couldn't get things restored properly.
I believe it was on a stock rom but someone elses kernel when I tried all this. But OTA update wouldn't work.
So I installed CWR through odin. Installation went fine.
Then rooted the phone through CWR, again everything working properly.
Tried to flash to most current version of AOSP and tablet and it won't boot. Screen stay's black after 20 minutes.
I can get into the tablet via Odin to repair it I'm just not sure what files I need.
So what I was looking for was to bring the tablet back to stock, if possible. To start from scratch.
I have the file for stock recovery, but not a stock kernel or stock rom. I have not been able to find these for my model of device. GT-P7310MA
Any help pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated. Again I apologize if this is covered somewhere else I just haven't been able to find it.
Go to sammobile.com for the stock Rom. You'll have to register but it's free. You'll download a zip file. Use 7-zip to extract the .tar.md5 file from it. Use that in Odin, PDA. Just have auto-reboot and f.reset checked. You'll be good to go. Use Odin 1.85

So I'm about to root my, phone and possibly install a new rom. Just want to know if there is a safe way to go back to stock if I mess anything up lol. If I have to return the phone for a warranty exchange will they know that I rooted the phone?

Root trips Knox, which voids warranty. There is no way to avoid tripping Knox & no way to un-trip it. It is very easy to go back to stock, though.
I had a difficult time finding a way going back to stock for a little over a month now. I've searched and downloaded numerous version of stock N910TUVU2DOK2, even a version directly from Sammobile, and none of them worked. I would get an error message when trying to flash stock N910TUVU2DOK2 using Odin on every attempt. But I was able to finally get back to stock after using a mirror link of stock TW N910TUVU2DOK2 which I found here on XDA:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/note-4-tmobile/development/mirror-stock-tw-t3260858
So when the time comes that you want to go back to stock, swing by there and download the mirror link
HI Just wanted some advice. Im on 6.01 Overdrive rooted but would like to go back to stock as I feel I'm not using any rooted featured and also I'm getting problems with Oculus etc.
My Question is what's the best Firmware to flash in Odin that if I decide to go rooted again it won't block me or upgrade my bootloader. I'm on Baseband PE3 at present.
Do I need to wipe anything? Or is an Odin Flash enough. Thanks
I use epg2. You can flash the dev base for that. I pulled the boot.img from it and flashed over to remove root. The 910t had guides to get you back to lp from anything before pj2. Haven't bothered upgrading past that point.
