Yes definitely, when CM7 is out, I will port my themes. I am going to get a Nexus S as soon as its available in Canada .
So, do the MODs work?

Since its a .zip, move it to your SD card and flash it through Clockwork.
Anybody test that it works on the NS?? It looks great.

Tried to flash, it just says aborted "(bad)".

It probably doesn't flash because the update scripts are slightly different - it's now updater-script and update-binary I think. I'm going to put this in a flashable zip I made (and tested) and see what happens
EDIT: I put it in my flashable zip and no dice - it booted up fine but nothing changed.

Does not work on MoDaCo r2.

Can someone please try pushing the apks.

Oh, I am using paul's rom. I assumed it should have worked because I didn't think he changed framework-res.apk at all. If you create a new one based on paul's rom I'll try it out for you.

Yeah that'd be great if you could - I'd definitely test!

Here are the apks for paul's ROM.
Push them to system/framework and system/app respectively.

Still getting bootloop. The lockscreen shows up for a second and there's no notification bar, then it reboots.

No notification bar, as above. But I am not going into boot loop, but each and every app force closes.
I am on Paul's Rom. Need to update sig.

It's the system UI apk. You can't modify that. Pushing just the framework should work

[MOD] Battery Percentage Mod - alternative version

Hello,
I have made some modifications to MaliciousKen's mod of the battery percentage for stock rom:
Changes:
- the main change is to show the percentage even during charging; I based on MaliciousKen's graphic files and just made some changes in the xml
- based on v10d stock rom's framework-res.apk
- retain music notification in the status bar (i.e. same as stock version, you can disable it in Music's setting; there seems no problem in v10d version on this)
This is my first time modifying an apk! Please have a try and let me know if there is any problem

No. This version is for stock ROM.

DO NOT INSTALL THIS !!
If you will make this mistake, do a backup first. In case you don't ,you must flash a new rom.
Just a warning, maybe you have anything else to do these days.

Sorry if it has caused trouble. Now I have uploaded another one based on MaliciousKen's version directly. So hopefully this should work for v10a/b/c.
Do make a backup (at least copy out your original framework-res.apk) before you try.

You don't need to flash a new rom, just install MaliciousKen's version. That worked for me.

hmm.... I did try before posting these files. I only have v10a and v10d stock rom and the above two mods work fine on my phone, so I'm running out of ideas now.
However, if either of the above works for anyone, please kindly let me know.
As said, it's the first time I modified an apk file, so when I found it successful (on my phone), I'm so excited to share here. Too bad if it only works on my phone

I have re-built the apks with another method and tested ok. Please have a try if you have time

which xml file should I edit in order to build a working apk ?
I tried to modify the stat_sys_battery.xml and stat_sys_battery_charge.xml
and I have also put the image file in correct place..
using APKmanager to compile and sign ...
I just got boot loop afterall -__-
Anything I have missed ?

the 1st xml is for the normal display of the icon while the other one is during charging (animation)
i used apktool 1.3.1
(note the latest apktool is 1.3.2 but this one appears buggy, i also had the boot loop with it)

For those who are getting error (status6).. Its an updater-script error
Just swap/(replace) update-binary and updater-script from your previous rom or any other stock rooted ROM..
If you willing to go more deep on this refer this thread

Yes, i replaced update-binary and updater-script from sfm_1.1 and it flashed successfully
but still on hTc splash screen

Please post some screen.....is it sense based or not ?

Hey, I've tried everything mentioned here, but no joy at all, just can't get it to boot up

HTC Marvel is Wildfire S, so this is Android 2.3 with Sense 2.1. We already have SenseOnFire, which is Android 2.3 with Sense 2.1, and it boots and works,
unlike this. So yes, this is Sense.

I made it boot.
I replaced the update-binary and updater-script from the SenseOnFire 0.2b with these ones, and it booted.
I've got to say, it's almost the same as SenseOnFire.
But this one is more unstable

Hero!! but this still needs everuthing to be resized or not? But what works and doesn't work?
does Bluetooth,GPS work? if it does, it would be cool and maybe someone can get it make it work in SensOnFire?

How to use:
1. Download Black Blue Glass TWRP Theme.zip and rename it to ui.zip

These themes seem to be updated to work with 2.6.3. Will test and post results

Edit: yep they work well, even have curtain screens flashable via adb. Not as visually pleasing imo compared to these ones but a nice theme nonetheless.
