ok this is really sick!!!
this is what happened.
opened messages.
options.
tools.
clear all SMS/MMS.
then it CLEARLY asked me that all the messages in "INBOX and SENT ITEMS" will get deleted.
i said OK.
It bloody deleted my messages from the other folders also!!!! non sense!!!
is there any way to get the messages back.
I had some really important messages from my manager.
please bros help me out!!

look in your trash folder, if not then i doubt it

I'm having some weird issue with replying/forwarding email. Email comes in, I hit reply, type the message and send. When the sender receives the message their original message shows up but my text is missing altogether. This is done though exchange. Running ATT stock ROM 2.2, rooted. Has anybody seen this or have a fix to it?

This is an issue with the stock email app using a Microsoft Exchange account. Search around for an updated version, that's what fixed it for me.

Help please.. I was told that my phone has been sending sms messages to my friends on my contacts list. Without me knowing it, of course. What causes this? Any help would be appreciated.
You have obviously installed some app that has permissions to do this. Go though the most recent installs, and uninstall any that have the rights to send messages and see contact information.
Look at the sms's sent and see if there is any clue there, too.
ok thanks for the quick reply.. But how about some apps, that came already installed on the phone, I cant remove them.. Also some social apps, like the facebook and yahoo messenger.. They have this permissions, is there any way to unable the said permission? thanks!
Preinstalled apps won't do this.. Neither will facebook or Yahoo Messenger.

What are the contents of these SMS? Is it like a butt dial SMS or are your friends getting strange advertisements and links?

uhm, they were receiving txt messages that I have already previously sent them. I mean older ones..

the re-installed apps are like the voice talk, voice search, torch light.. and the likes.. anyone?

Yes, I had this. For some reason the texts were marked as unsent, probably because I have bad cell coverage at home. On a reboot they were all resent, regardless of if they had been sent.
I started using GO SMS and I have not had the problem. I also updated my kernel, but I cannot imagine that was the issue.
I also rooted the phone and killed off the bloatware. Perhaps it was the social hub, which I have now disabled.
could it be the "sms popup" that i installed? I installed it for me to be able to reply much easier to person texting em. Its like a pop up where you can already see the message and reply at once..
I looked at the GO SMS, I saw that it also has a reminder that it allows the phone to send text messages on its own.
Whats the best messga widget do you guys use? Thanks!

Not impossible. I think I did use that to, but the GO SMS has a popup of its own which seems better.
There is also a GO SMS widget that works quite well, I find. I prefer the popup and an unread message count shortcut.

I'm having the same problem too, the developer is aware of this FC problem, let's just wait for the fix.

Hi Guys, Hopefully there is an answer to this... everytime i send and sometimes when i receive a sms message and then close the message app is comes up with Unfortunately, Messages has stopped.
So far I've tried factory reset(twice) and wiping messages data. Is there something I'm missing??

If you have it, turn off enhanced messaging in settings.

Glad it worked for you.
It's the same here it continually crashes except enhanced messaging is on.
I'll just go back to hangouts
