Tapatalk / XDA App on Nook Color?

I can't stay logged in in Tatalk or XDA App on my Nook. I can login fine, but when I leave and come back to the app, it tells me the password is wrong.
Pain in the neck having to login again everytime. Tree uninstalling and reinstalling but issue persists. Anyone have a solution?

I had the same problem until I went to froyo on my phone. The nook is android 2.1.. Unless you're having this issue with the froyo version?

I'm running stock 2.1 rooted on the Nook. No problems with Tapatalk on my Nexus S or iPod Touch but on the Nook I have this issue.

I have to log in evrytme too with stock eclair. With nookie on card I don't.

Interesting that it differs based on 2.1/2.2, I hadn't noticed... Been a long time since I used tapatalk on my Nexus One since getting the Nook Color.
I was under the impression that this was a function of the forum requiring logins on each connection. I googled that somewhere..

Handbreak in Ubuntu

Can somebody suggest some settings for converting movies (avi and mkv) with handbreak using Ubuntu. I use it all the time in windows, but every video I convert in Ubuntu produces "sorry, this video can't be played". I've pretty switched from windows to Ubuntu with the exception of this. Thanks.

The Iphone handbrake preset should be compatible with the nook video player.

Here's a preset for handbrake I picked up somewhere on this forum. Wasn't able to find the thread with a search.

The apple preset worked great. Will try the attached settings next. Thanks guys.

google photos to show?

how can I get my google photos to show up in my gallery like my nexus phone does?
ok, I installed google plus and can see pics thru the app..not what I was wanting to do, but I guess it'll have to do

location is around 115 feet off...any way to get dead on with the limited gps on nookHD? ?

There is no GPS on the nook. It is using wifi location tables if anything...

yea, I knew it was limited, does the nook hd+ have gps?

No, but I think a Bluetooth gps mouse should work.

Loo around a little, there's another thread where i talk about using gps Bluetooth apps to connect to my phone gps, works great! But uses a lot of power...

is there an ebook list / launcher app similiar to stock nook hd?

I know it's kinda cheesy, but I liked the way stock nooks have that widget "spinning list" of ebooks / docs / comics. Is there something similar I can use with CM?

Aldiko Premium has a carousel widget. So does Google Books.
