Jerusalem, 1191 A.D. The Third Crusade is tearing the Holy Land apart. Along the way, you discover that the men share a dark secret – one that threatens not only the Holy Land – but the entire world. Assassin's Creed is the new franchise that redefines the action/adventure genre with an innovative, rich gameplay that provides a well-balanced mix of stealth, chaotic action and riddle-solving exploration in the midst of 4 vivid, responsive environments.
Wonderful game every1 should buy it.

oops, sorry what was that site again lol j/k
you just wasted 2 mins of my life and i want it back damn it!

this threads still here?/>
Wait, what? I got this game for free legitimately for my Sony Ericsson w580i, and it didn't work, and then I put it on my Vogue with the java run time and it worked. But are you sure this is a pay game? I got it from a legitimate website for free... however, it isn't the G1 version, perhaps that's why...
Creed
They are selling its for the g1 and g2
Yah, Gamerloft has it, says its for the G1. You have to buy credits or something..and there is no refund, even if the game doesn't work right on your phone...they will assist with getting it playable..but if they CAN'T, you still dont get a refund if it successfully installed. U can't get a refund even if you cannot download it..lol..wtf...And if u pay twice by accident..no refund...I don't like their policies. Specialy when u have a rooted G1. And its ONLY via WAP. Can't get the .APK.....Screw them!
From their FAQ:
What is Gameloft's refund policy?
Gameloft products can be selected as downloadable software from our online store. We accept absolutely no returns on game downloads. Should you be unable to download the game, select a game that is incompatible with your phone, lack sufficient credit to download it, or have a problem with your internet service, you will not be refunded. If you complete payment more than once, you will not be refunded. We reserve the right to replace your purchase with another game in exchange. If for any reason you do not receive the game or find yourself unable to install it because of a technical problem, we will gladly resend it and work with you to resolve the problem. However, once the game is successfully installed, we cannot resend it for any reason, unless you buy it again. One purchase entitles you to one download of the game to one phone number and on one phone model only. If you delete or otherwise remove the game from your phone, you will have to buy it again.
I deleted my game, can I download it again?
Gameloft's policy is that if you buy a game, you buy only one download of the game. If you delete the game, reformat your phone, or otherwise lose the game, you'll have to buy it again. However, should you have a problem with the game and an update is required, we'll gladly send you a new version of the same game free of charge (plus any WAP fees your carrier may charge), as long as it's to the same mobile number.
So you've no clue how it will run, how the controls are, etc, etc..if its even compatible with the g1 (no guarantee it will work, rooted or otherwise). They do say they will help as much as they can to get it to work...but even if they fail...still no refund.
anywhere ELSE offer it with the .apk? I did some google'ing and couldn't find it anywhere else BUT gameloft. Handango didn't have it either.
I just think that if i'm going to buy the game...i want to OWN it...not borrow it for a fee.
i saw the vendetta online on xoom trailer, and i want to play it badly, anyone got a release date or beta test date?

So I was kinda hyped about it,cause im a freelancer fanatic, and space fighters are my thing, and the thought of controlling a space fighter with my xoom is well, kinda hot? Anyways, so I was thinking, maybe I got my hopes up, and was expecting to much from this game? Or maybe It was my expectations that were to high...But as I sit and play this game on my Xoom, and 100% sure my thoughts were wrong, this game is amazing, everything I was looking for in a space fighter on the Xoom!

How many MMO's are available for mobile devices?
They should go the micro-transaction route like pocket legends. Pay for what you want to do. You spend a lot of time playing, you spend more money, a little time, a little money. The model has proved extremely profitable for them. 40-50% more profitable on Android than iOS too, as announced earlier today.
It looks neat and all, but I'm not going to buy an app that requires a subscription for a game that I would likely only play intermittently.
Edit:
Also, PC players are in the same world? I foresee a lot of Xoom users getting their asses beat down pretty hard.
I wonder if the subscription at least is transferable to the PC. ie, play on either device? I dunno..still hard to swallow for a game released in I think 2002?
The Android Version includes:
" Single-Player "Free Play" mode: after completing the tutorial, a free-play sandbox sector becomes available, letting you perfect your flying technique and enjoy minigames while offline. This feature will be expanded in future patches, and will permanently be available to anyone with the game installed, regardless of whether they ever choose to subscribe. Enjoy!"
If you want this game just google the apki have it running on my galaxy s it kind of boring and there only a 16 hour trail what that all about
Hello XDA!
I'm a longtime reader and I would like your opinions my new game Monster's Pinball for Windows Phone 7.
It has two tables and is based on one of my favorite handheld pinball games from back when I was a kid and its just as challenging (can anyone guess what game?)
If you like the game please leave a comment and rating in the marketplace!
Someone left a comment saying the flippers had no power. Is this true for everyone? If so, what device are you using?
Thanks!
Here is the description from the Marketplace:
Monster's Pinball pays tribute to some challenging cult classic portable pinball games.
Can you confront and defeat over 50 monsters in and around a creepy old mansion? There are over 100 items to unlock!
Run the right loop 3 times to enable a confrontation with a monster, then run the left loop 3 times to enable battle mode. Defeat the monster to fully unlock it.
Different monsters are in different locations! Hit one of 2 travel buttons 3 times to travel within the games 18 locations.
While this may be an homage to classic games, Monster's Pinball is full of modern gaming conventions such as:
xp / leveling system
special challenges
powerups / perks
online scoreboards
Supports fast app switching and you can save and resume games! See you on the scoreboards!
Any and all suggestions are welcome, just email me at [email protected]!

Tried it out. Great game. I think the review the other poster gave (i'm the 2nd review on their now) was because he is used to those fast paced electronic pinball games. Not ones based on the classic real pinballs with metal heavy balls. I would however suggest adding maybe tilt to it and penalty for tilting to much
Keep up the good work.
Oh btw i was playing it on an HTC Titan.
UK?
Hi
Why is the free version not available in the UK?
Thanks

There is tilt and it can only be used every 5 seconds. Just tilt the phone in the direction you want the ball to go and give the phone a hard jolt. There is a visual effect so you know it worked. Thanks for trying the game!

That's because the microsoft ad control doesn't really work anywhere besides the US. I've waited a long time for them to expand but now I'm thinking about using admob and adduplex in the future. Try the trial of the paid version and buy if you like it; I kept the price very low compared to the xbox live games.
Thanks for the question though, it really reinforces the fact that I need to make my games free for everyone.
Note: This is a very long e-mail diagram with text on my opinions while I point out the problems with Gameloft's games and their Customer Care (Support).

Now the support was helpful at the start and I did receive free games for my troubles but when they refunded my games that I bought, now that's when I started to flip the table, and my ****. A refund was never asked nor was it implied.
So, does anyone else have bad experiences with Gameloft games and their support?

You sure? I'm pretty sure it's cross-platform.
Gameloft games on Android are missing lots of features and the initial ports are buggy and lacks lots of features like Native gamepad support, less special effects than iOS versions, bad customer support, etc... . Gloft games on iPhone 4 are better than my galaxy S which has a better GPU and lower res screen Wake up Gameloft!
Cheers Gameloft! You guys have an amazing consumer support lol!

I don't get what's going on? I've noticed that on different phones, my Gameloft data would either save on the phone itself or the phone's SD card. It changed depending on the phone. Right now, the data saves on my SD card. So that's why when I flash my phone, my Gameloft data is still there. My G2 saved the data on the phone, so I had to re-download every time.
That's probably what they were talking about when referring to Android/data/Gameloft
Also, I had some games save in /Gameloft/Name-of-Game and sometimes Gameloft/gameloft-data.
It was different for every Gameloft game I had.
Is that the problem I'm reading? Did I comprehend it correctly? Or am I just way off. =.P
At least they have tried unlike EA. No reply since Feb 29

They do try. Customer support hasn't been terrible for me through Gameloft, although some things were not 100% resolved, but very close. People are complaining about iOS being more favorable than android, but with android they have to come up with so many different versions to become compatible, and iOS they don't and it is just much easier for them to code it all.

The initial ports for Android are rushed and not optimized. Gangstar Rio is the prime example - iPad files for my Galaxy S? WTF?!
I'm pretty sure Gameloft makes games in C++ and uses the Android NDK to port it over to Android like this.
XDA Members after some truly dire results with advertising - with well over 100k downloads making less than $20 a month I have recently dropped all free versions of Asteroid 2012 3D on Android
*** UPDATE : ADDED A FREE TO DOWNLOAD TIME LIMITED VERSION HERE WITH IAP TO UNLOCK ***
However, I have updated it hugely over the last three months, it now features:
Upgradeable Main Weapon
Multiple Secondary Weapons
Xperia PLAY Optimised
Realtime LIghting FX
Online Highscore Tables
Improved Game Mechanics
New UI
and it is available to all you wonderful members for the 'huge' sum of 99cents, 69pence or 80euro cents and I'm calling upon you all to help spread the word about this little app whether thats through Google+, Twitter or Facebook - I would really appreciate any exposure you can provide to let people know about this game...

well done mate!
Hi Mark,
First of all congrats on the game, well done, the animation is really smooth and detailed.
Did you consider switching to the free-to-play model? This usually works much better on Android.
One comment, I'm not sure, maybe it's only me, but the back button doesn't respond as it should be, ie. I would expect it to bring me back to the main menu while playing.
Cheers,
Tom
Hi Tom,
Thanks! I can add the back button easily bit my children often end up accidentally hitting it in game so as they formed part of my play testing I took it out...

Great game, I'm enjoying it very much. One thing though, is there any chance of making the on-screen controls bigger? Even on my Gnote, I find the left virtual stick very small, making it overly sensitive.

Okay,
I just pushed an update to Google Play - It now allows you to retest network connectivity at the Game Over screen so you can submit those awesome scores should your network have timed out during play or if it wasn't connected in the first place before playing... Now you have no excuse not to get the highest score and post it
Regards,
Mark
