Hi, I had installed Cyanogen mod 7 yesterday night. How do I get back to the original firmware? I could not restore back to the original firmware now. I need emergent help. I want the original firmware that my phone come with it.
to come off cyanogen back to stock you need to flash a 3 file firmware with 512 pit and re partition.
otherwise you will get issues

You need to find the stock rom files and run them through Heidmall, no big deal as long as you can find the stock rom files.

I did not... in my case, my TAB is not branded, so I used JMI stock from the above link. I unzip the file and the results file I just added in Odin together with PIT file and that's all. System reverting to stock, also CWM was replace d with stock recovery.
there is a video tutorial posted on Youtube (is for T-mobile, but was the same procedure for me). hope it helps!

I did try to flash it many time. but its the same after finishing flash, it only goes to first boot screen and stuck
You most likely have an ext4 rom and rfs kernel, or vise versa.
If it's stock kernel, than you have an ext4 rom most likely.
My best guess is you need to convert your kernel to ext4.
Sent from my "way better than an iPad" tab.
hi everyone
I need to unroot the tab back to stock and get back to original rom and kernel. I saved all files I needed onto usn but just need to be sent along the right path. Such as what order do I do it all in?
Thanks
Does anyone know?
Find the Overcome 4.1 thread and in it there is a link to an install guide within that, there are instructions on setting the Tab back to stock GB.
I'm not to sure if I have unrooted but here is my tablet information:
Kernel version
2.6.36.3
[email protected]#1
build number
Task650 & phantoms in Paris.
Is this unrooted and back to stock?
I want to take off the task650 also and return it to samsung rom, how do I do this?
Here are the files I have saved on my usb, I cant remember what they are for. Can someone please tell me.
-boot-cm_2636.4_ux-oc-xtra...... Which I have reflashed.
-DesktopUA_In_ParisV4.......Which I take is the customrom which I want to take off and return to stock.
-root.zip
-stockretail.tar.md5 i also flashed this with odin
-recovery-cwm_4.0.0.4-sam-tab-10.1.tar.md5
-samsung_galaxy_tab_10.1_root.zip
-GT-p7510_USB_Driver_v1_3_2360_0-escape.exe
Sorry for being so stupid
ive had my galaxy ace for over a year now and decided i want to sell it, but i have a custom rom on it with no original firmware to back it up. i have no idea how to restore it as ive tryed odin but it went completely wrong and i just ended up with a boot loop so i had to back up an old custom rom again which has taken me back to square one, any advice or can i not restore it?

You need to get the official stock odin flash N910T NJ7
firmware which can be found at http://SamMobile.com
Then you need to put the phone into download mode,
connect usb cable and flash the firmware using odin.
That's about all there is to it, you will end up with a
stock un-rooted phone.
Good luck!
Hi!
I unrooted my phone to stock samsung galaxy s5 ROM (Touchwiz, using sammobiles). I thought that everything would be as if the phone was brand new, but I suspect that my kernel isn't stock samsung, since tv2 sumo app that uses kernel detection says my phone is rooted. (though I have no root access now...) The app won't play videos! Please help me get it working again!
Is it possible to have stock android ROM but not stock kernel? How can I get stock kernel?
