If i install CM7 on my phone. Do i get updates from OTA? or do i have to manually flash ROM each time a new update comes from CM team?
How about nightlies? Will i get update from 19 til 20 from OTA?
you know, as you are asking this, you probably should not install CM7 in the first place until you really know what you are doing
But if i do? Can i update?
When its released, is it possible to update it over OTA then?
You can update but not by OTA read the CM7 topic
Right now with the nightly, you have to reflash it everytime. This is made easy if you have clockwork's rom manager. The app will help you keep the rom up to date with the latest version.
If you have the paid ROM Manger you can get OTA nightly build updates.

I'm considering rooting and using the latest CM ROM, but there's been a lot of talk lately about the Dream getting an official 2.x OTA update. If I load the CM ROM and am rooted, will I have the ability to load the T-Mobile update if and when it comes out? (it seems like this would have been discussed before, but a quick search didn't turn up anything)

Yes but you'll lose root. When it comes out I would just wait for enomther to release the root version (~5 min.)
i got the OTA msg but i do not want to update until a proper FRF91 mod comes out. i am currently running kang-o-rama 0.9 and am completely happy with it.... is there a way to get rid of this annoying update msg or can i just update and reinstall the custom rom?
Sorry, bit of a noob at this. I just installed CWM, about to install the ROM on the below link. I don't want to have to re-configure everything by installing a new ROM once honeycomb is released, if possible. Would his, which is a rooted and slightly modified version of the official Dell update, be able to update to Dell's official Honeycomb automatically, without having to add a new version with CWM and lose all my apps?

You will have to wipe regardless and hc isn't no where near ready yet.

does anyone know if the updates for this rom are no wipe updates? when i check for an update on rom manager for cos-ds it say there are no updates available but when i go to the downloads it shows a newer version of the rom. and on this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=950765 it says ther is an update
????????
There's new update that just came out today.
is it no wipe for previous versions?
I'm running CM 12.1 and I've been receiving updates on my phone that new updates are available over the last couple of days. I know these are nightly updates. My question is this, if i went through with the update directly on my phone will this wipe my current ROM and all apps on it or will it just do a delta updates?
I took a gamble and downloaded cyandelta and it worked. I updated to the newest nightly without losing all my apps and settings.
