[16/05/2011][SPLASHSCREEN][NAND remains safe] - HD2 Android Themes and Apps

Hello xda,
Do you hate hd2's original sticking together screen? or are you annoyed seeing that screen daily?
but not anymore. It's time to give your phone a new look. so here I've created a new splashscreen for t-mobile hd2.
Tested on US modal hd2, not sure for european one. but as far as i know, either it works or it gives a error while flashing.
Normally it's safe to do this, and this wont touch the NAND partation so your roms will still be there after you flash this.. But to be 100% sure, always keep a backup.
well, even if i've said its safe, I don't take any guarantee for it. so as always do it at your own risk.

How to flash?
- download the zip below
-Put your phone in bootloader mode (vol down + power on)
-connect your phone to PC
- extract the zip you've downloaded and run the ROMUpdateUtility.exe.
-wait 30 seconds to see the new screen.

BTW: I have attached a copy!
Cheers

[GUIDE] How to run iPhone/iPod touch Apps on a PPC

So I was just browsing through some of the sub-forums and I found a lot of questions asking, "HOW KENN I RUN iPHONE APZ ON MI PPC?"
I today have brought you a solution.
Using this method, your phone/device will not need any additional memory usage, or even any additional software/hardware for that matter. All games will run full speed too! And the best part is -- none of this will affect your battery life!
Here you go folks! A picture is worth a thousand words, so this video is worth a million (Or something like that! )
http://www.youtube.com/v/HA17r26Ytz0&hl=en_US&fs=1
Tada!!
edit: This will work with all screen resolutions!
Does this work on the HTC HD2?

Upon further inspection it works on every phone on every operating system
It's a really hilarious* video showing someone running an app on an iphone which he has physically placed on top of a PPC.
* when I write, hilarious, I really didn't mean it.
Thread can be closed now, if not deleted, please.
It will run on my Tilt, as long as it is on my desk. But will not run on my Tilt if it is in the charging dock. Any ideas ?
fail thread.

I'm pretty sure I've had this and just went through with flashing anyway. Maybe I'm mistaken and if you don't want to risk it, wait for more opinions.
What's happening when you choose a *.sbf for flashing?
Zatapatalkowane z MotoStone'a
i tried flashing anyway but still the device doesn't pass the white m symbol

do you have a different pc to try it on? rsdlite works on my laptopn while it doesnt really work on my moms for some reason. id try it on a different pc first. next i'd like to know what sbf file your trying to flash. it could be corrupt or something, try a test with another sbf file like from peter alfonsos site and see if it works.
***wow, apparently i have to wait 5 whole minutes before posting becuase im apparently a "new" user whos been here since may of 2010... i guess i should crank out more posts heh? (looks at watch, seems to be January 2 of 2012 )
You won't be able to initiate the flash process until the phone boots directly into bootloader mode, which involves a mostly black screen with small white text. Keep trying while holding down the proper buttons and you should be able to get there.

What you have to do is take a relatively long rag, dip it in some gasoline, stick it in the tank, and light the rag on fire. Remember to stand really close to the car. This method is great for getting past recovery and download modes, and resets the car to factory settings and allows for easy installation of rom files.

Moto X always calculating data

Just what the title says if you go under storage its says calculating forever and will not go from this also when trying to look under installed apps where is says how much space is being used also still says calculating do any of you have an idea why or even how to fix this? I have an unlocked boot loader running rooted stock 4.4.4
Thanks
I have seen this take a really long time when an app I used created a cache folder that had many many little files. If I waited long enough in my case it eventually did finish. This was on another device which had a notoriously slow internal storage...
Thank you for this info I will look at all the thongs I have and see if this is the case..

I think your device could pretty easily be fixed by just reinstalling the stock ROM through Odin.
Follow these simple steps:
Download stock ROM from SamMobile. Here is a direct link to your device. Simple select the right firmware for your phone and download.
Download flashing tool, in this case, Odin. Make sure to download it from a reliable source as 3rd parties sometimes do include viruses.
Boot your phone into download mode by pressing the Volume down and Bixby button at the same time as you plug in the USB-c cable.
Use Odin to flash all the stock firmware files except for the HOME_CSC one.
Congrats you have successfully recovered your phone. Now give yourself a well-deserved pat on the back.
Also, please place your thread in the right forum in the future. That way you can get help much quicker.
If this answer did help you, please mark it as the solution as it help people in the future.
