if you want to change splash screen, used this
I have done the splash screen, but while m trying to install through RUU, it shows error[270]update error, this mean I have to update bootloader..
for that I download the splxploit.. but unable to install..
how to install it ? please guide me..

Please, anyone, how can I flash my wizard from the bootloader screen?. All the procedures around explain flashing with ROMUpdateUtility, but none from the bootloader screen ... Do I have a brick????

It works just the same. The only difference is that the updater doesn't know the version of the ROM installed.
When one starts the updater (RUU) with device running normally the process loads two files called RUUGetInfo.exe and EnterBootLoader.exe . The first gets the OS version currently running and the second sends the phone into the 3 color mode. As you see the updater HAS to work from the bootloader
But i guess the wiki could have told you that... (why bother?)

first the orginal rom is here flash it like you normally would.
if you plan on flashing again the you don't have to do the next bit, but if your giving it in for warrenty then go here and follow the same instruction but when you open the hard-spl program replace the .nbh file with the stock one attached at the end of the post!

Just rename the extracted file to (without quote) "kovsimg.nbh", and make sure it is not "kovsimg.nbh.image", then you can update your rom via micro SD method or run RUU. Read this thread, or this thread to update your ROM.

i have htc tytn2 kaiser130 and i bay it Used i see that it comes from some Company offers ...u know that they put there logo screen at star boot....(the 2nd splash screen)the screen witch show u the radio version and rom version
i wont to change this screen and i try many ways and didn't work it dosnt change !!!

Are you sure you followed the guides correctly? It's worked fine for me in the past. If it really bothers you and you can't seem to get it to work then I suppose you can try flashing a ROM that comes with it's own splash screen...

n this guy updated my boot image from the normal black...to a something unethical...honestly..its too irritating...it shows up as the background on my bootscreen where it shows the ONBL, GSM, SPL and OS version...
please help me remove it...i have tried flashing to other ROMs and alos tried the oringal...this ROM image is don somthn very very bad!!

thnx for ur concern man...but it almost damaged my fon...i got an error saying the image is corruptd...n it stayed in the tricolor screen...but phew...it ws detecting the USB, so i flashd with the original opal rom....
but my problm aint fixd yet...help me dude...how do i update PrimarySplash into the flash..i tried the nbhtool..juz creating the image for FirstSplash..but whn i try to flash it, i get an error sayin "INVALID MODEL ID"..

no 'smart mobility' as yet....help me get it back..miss it a lot...

will this delete my data?? i mean, i made the RUU image tht contains only the First Splash part....the OS image wasnt included in the update....
also, previously, which ever ROM image i updated my fon with, tht boot-screen never changed..it remained as it was previously....the thing ws tht the D13 NBH had two .NB files, PrimarySplash.nb and Windows.nb. all other images had only the Windows.nb.

i think i gotta thank the D13 guy for creating this...coz i learned somthn abt the Flash and ROMing thingy...

after installing RC5 23698 Multi-Rom my XDA lls stuck on 4colored screen and dosent load windows i tried to install other roms they all install successful but they all get stuck at the 4 colored screen i tried to downgrade to wm2003se official rom but they all gave me error PLEASE HELP me

i fixed the problem using Chef_Tony RUU and the nk.nbf from XdaIIs_launchROM_v1.12.62_178.exe to go back to wm2003se and after that i used How To ExtRom EN.pdf manual to restore the partition.

D-Two, i was try to use your update software, but, "stuck on 4colored" persists in all updates, except with WM2003SE-PTB, but still with errors on flash.
What do I need?
Do you have a step-by-step to solve this problem?
I'm trying to update several weeks, but without success.
Like I said, I can only install the original version.

1. I installed the WM2003
2. Partition the "disk"
3. After that I could install WM 6.1
Some things do not work, type:
1. Select multiple objects with the Styllus, so I have to use the "Shift" key
2. There are no options for SimCard.
