Hi,
I just bought a used nexus one with Cyanogen 6.1.1 and 5.08.00.04 radio, and the call volume is too low, barely I can't hear the other side. Is there any tweak that I can make? Should I replace the Rom / Radio / Kernel, or is this a faulty unit?
Thanks.
Try an audio boost kernel or faulty hardware, even though people complain about the boost being too loud....
Install a ROM with the audio boost. Cyanogen or similar.
I already have the Cyanogen 6.1.1 and it don't solve this problem.
Can anyone suggest any 'good' solution? kernel or otherwise to fix this $#@$# 'bug'??
Would really appreciate all the help!
Hi,
I've read the posts http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=741012 and http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=731794 but I can't find any answers about this "issue".
My handset volume is too lower, and I have to reboot my SGS once time per day.
I've tried to use Voodoo Control Plus but no success.
Anyone has a solution for this?
tks!
Im looking for this too, hope someone knows a fix
Try finding a kernel with voodoo sound v4 or lower. Problems started for me since then
Galaxy S - no point in writing rom or kernel constantly changing!

hi all
I'm facing a problem with the noise suppression I think, and i would like to try to disable this feature
the problem is that in the custom rom there is no control on this feature that is by deafault always on
is there any way to take the control on this whithout changing rom?
maybe installing the standard "phone call" app?
Hi! It's been a while but did you solve your problem ever? Im also with a custom rom in a z3c and want to disable noise supression/cancelling.
Hope you are still using the same phone!

So I found the working solution in a post for a different model.

In case of Z3c the file audio_platform_info.xml is located in /system/vendor/etc
summary: simply assign acdb_id="89" to all SND_DEVICE_IN... devices.
