Can someone port this to BAMF GB? I tried using that one but it screwed up my phone.

So, I just upgraded to EB01, and I used to use Blackout MTM Multitouch keyboard on DI01. I reeeally liked it. What are my options for keyboards on EB01 other than the utter trash default?
Do a little digging around yourself. You will find a lot of different options folks have put up.
Here is a keyboard that I like to use.

Blackout keyboard based on Camalot's MTM Gingerbread keyboard (in the Vibrant section but I still installed it on my Fascinate with no problems):

There should be a lot more choices (including even a WP7 keyboard) when SonofSkywalker3 posts his Blackhole 4.2 customizable ROM in ROM Manager in the next few days.
Another Fascinating post by my XDA app...
i navigated in ROM manager to the clockworkmod sonofskywalker folder and there is a ton of apps, keyboards and such that you can select even if you arent using blackholemod. (im using super clean 2.1)..
**Quick disclaimer** i cant "vouch" for any of them being compatable with EB01 other than the MTM iOS keyboard i installed and the mezmerize contacts (both flashed and worked great) ..
with the EB01 release, i finally got my MTM iOS keyboard to work with the phone again..that keyboard didnt like DL30.. i got a few force closes when i installed it, but after a reboot, it runs like butter.. its the only keyboard i can use well, since i have fat thumbs so that was awesome for me to be able to install it again
I found the MTMs in the Vibrant section, it's all good.
Samsung Fascinate, Verizon
DI01 (upgrading soon)
MTM Blackout Keyboard
SuperClean 0.4 (Dark Gloss)

Im running sense 3.0 now and like the threaded messaging and how the icon appears with notification on the lockscreen, but the look is so boring and actually harder for me to read then my goSMS. All I can find are windows messaging themes. Any tips on how to theme it, or is anyone already working on it? Or just not worth it?
Thanks.
My guess would be that the same method for themeing Sense 2.0 would be used for 3.0 but with a system skin from 3.0 as a base. I'm not even going to attempt to skin until there is a stable release by either Joelz or Incubus.

Those skin the messaging app? I had rEVOlution and OBsense before and I dont remember them changing the stock app appearance. I probably just didnt notice.
Is there a way to get the this theme on my rooted Froyo ROM (since I switched back from GB due to the brick warning)? Things like the really nice animation from turning the screen on/off, the ring lockscreen, toolbars/toolbox, notifications, etc.?
Thanks
toolbox is in froyo. you could get the notification icons but you would have to go through and edit the various apps. nothing else will work.
I got the gb launcher they put together .. that was what I was crazy about other than lock screen .. I can send to you if your interested

Hi I wanted to know how to get the notification bar with the power controls on it like on the Samsung. Thanks for any replies.
Root a tooth TBolt using XDA App.
I've never owned a Samsung phone but I imagine it looks like the ones I've seen in some Moto Droid roms and in BAMF 1.6.
I don't think you can just "add" the power controls very easily (although I could be mistaken), but the BAMF ROM has them, albeit they don't appear to be customizable. Liquid's ROMs on the Droid had it too, so his TB roms could have the same thing.

You can not add them to easily that's for sure but, you can modify the one built into the Remix roms failry easily. You go in to a file and chage the names in the text example. From toggleMobileData | to toggleBrightness | and now you have your brightness control there instead of the mobile data. You can swap them all out for what ever you like.
If your running any bamf rom you will have these power controls in your pulldown. And more then the samsungs have. Unless I'm not understanding what journal askig but I have the same settings as my fascinate plus 1 more.
Is there a way to completely remove the controls from the pulldown on a BAMF ROM? I'd rather use Widgetsoid
