There was another thread created but buried. So this is a new one. I promise to keep updating everyday so everybody can check here and see if the app will work for our beloved xooms.
*Friday 05/27/2011 - abduction 2! Confirmed working brilliantly on the 10.1 inch edit: and whoever already has this game, there's an HD option needs to be turned on as it was off by default. Thanks CowBallZ69 for the tip.
*Saturday 05/28/2011 - Yoo ninja game. Used to be 1.99 - does NOT work good for xoom. Even though it shows up fullscreen. Its really slow. Its just unplayable. Edit: sorry about the original post on yoo ninja being a bit hard to understand. I was typing that at 3 in the morning after a long ass flight.
*Sunday 05/29/2011 - Cardio Trainer Pro - used to be $9.99- this is just an add on module, you'll need to download the Free Cardio Trainer as well. The app itself shows up nicely on the big screen. Usable. Good looking and lots of different types of workouts. There's one drawback though, there is NO landscape support! Get it while you guys can. This is one of the few quality apps that we got
* Monday 05/30/2011 - day 4 of this thread and its already getting rotten. But I am going to keep posting my mini reviews. The app for today is Gaia GPS. Regularly priced at $9.99. The developer already stated that the app is not compatible with all tablets. But hey, you can always expect for the good outcome. And indeed luck is on your side this time. The app shows up nicely on my xoom, should be on yours as well. It is xoom compatible! I can't say about others though. I didn't have good signal when testing the app, it was loading slowly, but it is very usable
* Tuesday 05/31/2011 - the long awaited of PopCap hit game Plants vs. Zombies is finally here!!!!! From the developers: the game isn't guaranteed to play on every android tablet but work on some. You will experience the game being pixelated because of bigger screens. Also, this game requires wifi download. When today is over, $2.99 is going to be the price I've tested the game with a few plays. So far I've only experienced slow down and pixelated when I collect new plants. It is definitely good enough.

Yeah, echoing your yooninja findings in OP. Plays fullscreen, but so slowly that it's unplayable.

I have a question, everytime I try to get the free app it asks me to set up "one click" on my mobile device. Everytime I try to do that it asks for my mobile number. I have a 3g xoom from best buy which I have never activated on Verizon's network. I don't know of any number assocciated with this device, even a dummy one for unactivated devices. So how do I complete this step?
Really I don't see why I should need one, can't wifi only xoom users get the free app, and what number do they use? Stupid #$%@ing red tape. The damn app is free at the time anyway so what is all the extra security for?

Hey guys,
Any luck with this? Is it possible?
Waiting for suggestions
Thanks
im not familiar with what this app even is
can you give an explanation?
Well don't have a Flyer, but on it you can use cloud gaming with onlive optimized for tablets . It would be nice to have it on the xoom as well.
I thought that the onLine tablet app wasn't available yet on the flyer, or at least in the reviews I read this past week none of them had it. it would be awesome if it worked on the xoom but without a good control scheme I dunno if I would use it.
This app hasn't leaked yet, we won't know until then.

Do yo mean this? -> engadget.com/2011/06/07/onlive-player-app-for-ipad-and-android-tablets-meets-the-public/
(I can't post the link because of forum restrictions for new members...)
If there is a way to extract this from the flyer I can attempt it. Ours just came to the office today.

is it on your flyer?!?!?!? PM me! We will get it on our Xooms!

Barely waiting for this . Legion keep updates coming
From what we know, the Flyers that have shipped do not contain the OnLive app. It would be wonderful if we lucked out and this one did, but we will not know until we look.
From the link to Engadget that was posted earlier in this very thread:
Update 2: We're hearing that the OnLive Player will probably come to the HTC Flyer in August, and begin hitting other tablets in September and October.
Yeah I checked yesterday at Best Buy and didn't find the app on the tablet.

Everyone go to this site

Thanks for bringing this up, this is what I was looking for.
Sweet. Done.
Done. Write them a nice little message, hope they take the time to read it. I'd say we have a decent shot as they made one for the Droid 1 and Droid 2.
Did mine a week or two ago.
I sent mine in around the time the D3 came out. Dev said most likely will release, but nothing planned as of yet. I liked it for the D2, but it slid around alot if you got too intense in your gaming. I thought about trying to retrofit the D2 on the 3, but the keyoard is just too damn big.
i'd like GG to come out with something more akin to a protective case. something hard, that physically snaps on to the keyboard (around the edges).
Definitely need one of these for the D3!
I sent them an email when the phone was officially released and this was the response I was given at that time.

I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan but it's pretty terrible. The learning curve is huge, even before you get your first set of jobs you'll need to grind. It was not worth the money on DS and I doubt it'll be worth the extreme price for the Android version either. Steer clear of this one.
I would probably get GrooveIP. I've tried the lite version and it works pretty well.

So for a long time now android has lacked a primary feature that actually used to be there. In the market you cant filter out just your purchases. Ive been wondering what to do about this for quite a while now and I just came across an app that searches for all your purchased apps and displayes them in one list! Its wonderful!

Obviously it depends on the tablet, but I've got it on my Galaxy Tab 10.1 (first version) and it runs perfectly. I imagine it would labour a bit if I had lots of tracks and realtime effects running, but it played all the demo tracks without any lag or stutter. Obviously if it did get slow then I'd just have to render every time I wanted to hear it in full without lag.
I reckon it would run on most up-to-date tablets with no problem at all. A nexus 7, for example, should have no problem.
Are you using it on your phone then, or just on PC?

I don't think I've ever used FL to make a complete tune before now. I use Acid by Sony to layer loops and samples, but I make bass lines and some synth parts in FL.

When I use loops they're all my own stuff. I work primarily loops based but make them using synth, guitar or FL. I did start off using loops I'd downloaded when I was learning to use Acid, but quickly started recording my own.
