sorry to barge in luke this but...do u guys have the 7004 firmware??

Had a long chat with the wp7 support staff and they are just a prop...anyways...like u guys know, the nodo update has reduced color depths...so was thinking of going back to the very first firmware...it was quite good and I was in love..i really don't see any significant or drastic change in this nodo...yea the marketplace downloads are fast...copy/paste...thats about it...
So my question, does the pre nodo (7008 namely) update have the same color depth issue???
Or does any1 have the 7004, the very first, original firmware???

I need the very first firmware, namely 7004. But I am in Asia, India. So I don't know which one will work. ALso, I am looking for something that will update without issues.

I was Searching the xda forums, and all over the internet, but i couldnt find any way to jailbreak My Tmobile HD7, The device is already Carrier Unlocked but not Jail Broken, the details are:

well, the easiest way...
would be to just install a Custom ROM.

as long as you have RSPL or HSPL installed...
you can flash any HD7 ROM.
just remember, flashing a Shipped ROM will rid you of XSPL.

OEM drivers for HD7

I have used the Euro Schubert mango ROM to update and de-brand my HD7 but I have a feeling that it does not have the OEM drivers installed.
I found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1281855 with a driver cab package but I'm not sure how to install it, can anyone help please?

the Europe 4.05.401.02 ROM already has that...
to double-check on your device.
Settings -> About -> More Info -> Firmware revision number.

Thanks again, but the reason I asked was because of the last post in this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1303095 which seems to say that the HTC compass should work if you have the latest drivers? Am I wrong in thinking that!

first n foremost u ve to downgrade yr bootloader and flash rspl before u do anything else there are guides on how to do it. It works for some, who knows u may be lucky just read the threads.

I am very pleased with the thought and don’t feel like adding anything in it.

Maybe you can try the gold card method it's the safest way.I'm on 7720 like yours(update)I use the goldcard and now i'm in 7004.

now you can instal nextgen this was what i did and now i have nextgen installed in my HD7

I cant find a way to do downgrade. I've gone to this site and followed the steps but when I go to step 8, I follow that website & go to my specific device but there is no link to download the NoDo Radio file.
What can I do to downgrade my phones SPL?

nonetheless, will not be found. a Shipped ROM for AT&T with Radio 5.69 hasn't ever been released.
will only be 'obtained' by an AT&T update via Zune.

you are just trying to downgrade?? use the NoDo build.
with XSPL installed, you can use any Radio. don't have to use AT&T Radios.

Yes I'm trying to downgrade but I read somewhere that radio file I download has to match my device and its radio version.

brand specific. AT&T only. so, only one option, AT&T 3.03.502.04.

I have the same features and i had a htc hd7 t- mobile. unlocked , so i have de bar colors screen and i tried downgrade and i get 262 error , HAve some link where i cant donwload the SPL dowgrade? i have 4.5 .2250.0(129185) MNG and some blogs ask for CID... and i dont know how get this is the screen is just the bar colors...
