I installed UTB on my stock eclair, and loved the ad "hardener"/ blocker. last week I flashed stock Froyo, rooted, unlocked, enabled side-loading, etc, finally got all my apps, data, widgets set back up (only THOUGHT I backed them all up b4, TB) and now I really miss the add blocker.
Is there an APK or stand-alone that will install add hardner/ blocker for Froyo?
BTW, really miss the Samsung Weather+News 1x4? (sideways) widget from stocl eclair, but can't boot back into eclair to back it up (having ClockworkMod problems)...anyone have an APK for this widget? noton Marketplace or Amazon appstore...

com.sec.android.app.clockpackage.ClockPackage would be the answer you're looking for. This is the stock clock app, and upon opening it defaults to the alarm page. Heh, you making your own clock too?

Thanks a lot! I've been looking for this app for a while. I accidentaly deleted this app after I rooted my new phone for the first time in my life (big mistake). I was able to re-install other pre-installed apps that i deleted accidentaly. However, for some reason, I can NOT install the clock apk and the Info Alarm apk. Im getting a "Application not Installed" messege when i try to install them!!
I've search the web for 3 hours and I found nothing! what's wrong with my phone? some people said that I might have those apps already installed on the phone. But I looked for them, and they are not installed on the phone. Dont know what else to do.

blackhole ROM has it as a standalone option that you can simply flash onto any deodexed rom. Also, learn to use google modifiers.
I downloaded and installed Market Access on my Cappy when I first got it, and everything was great!
Until today
I had to reflash back to stock FW. I rooted again and reinstalled market access, but now apps are STILL not showing up, even tho they were showing up in market previously before i reflashed to stock.
examples include doom live wallpaper, the TAT live wallpapers and tethering apps.
Any ideas? Market access is installed and spoofing a TMO US sim
I am trying to install the GB stock launcher on CM7 but if I install it from recovery using the package found here:

I am getting boot loop and if I try to install the apk which is removed from within that package, I am getting "Application not installed" message. Does anybody know how to install it?
What is the best way to install the stock launcher? I know that there are some in the market but those does not appear to offer any sort of settings? (eg. change number of home screens etc.)

That is not the stock launcher, that is a 'modded' stock launcher. I tested it actually and it works much slower and uses more memory compared to the stock launcher. Not to mention, it is crashing... everything started working again after I removed it from my phone. (it makes you wonder, what else might be modified and why it is called 'stock launcher' when it is not).
I removed Launcher2.apk from Bugless Beast (V. GPA19) Android 2.3.7 ROM and it works much better.
Just to ask if anyone has successfully found a way to get Sky Go working on Optimus 4X, after seeing various methods in the main Sky Go thread to temporarily unroot I tried repeatedly using Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper to temp unroot then uninstall SuperSU (from app uninstall rather than full unroot from within the SuperSU app) and various app data clears of Sky Go before each launch attempt but always get the won't work on rooted devices error. Can anyone help or is Superuser as well as SuperSU built in anywhere along the rooting and installing CM10.1 method? Tried on RC2 here and just installed RC4 but no data so back on RC2 although some RC4 features such as 6x6 grid homescreen remain...
This may be a silly question but - can stock system apps be installed on a rooted Android HU? What I'm looking for is a decent app for my radio. Ive seen a lot of apps but my favorites are stock (system) apps that are in Samsung and LG phones.
