Hi,
I assume that you have the right ROM for your phone. Before you start the update, you must enter the Bootloader mode. Turn it off, press the volume down and plug the micro USB.

Hi,
When you in Bootlooader mode and after connected USB cable at the bottom you have description Serial or USB? If you have drivers installed properly you shold have USB and after that you can start install process.
My Phone shows USB connection mode and the drivers are all installed. Still cannot get what the problem is.

Connect to your PC and make sure activesync has run properly and your phone is on.
Open Hard SPL and run the ROMupdate. Your phone will go to tricolour and it will come up with a communication error.
disconnect from PC but leave the phone in tricolour....DO NOT reset it.
Cancel our of the ROMupdate. connect the phone to the pc again and run ROMupdate again.
This time it will go all the way through and you will have HardSPL on your phone.
Check it by entering bootloader and it should show Olipro 3.2.
You can then flash away....make sure you always put the phone into bootloader before flashing.

Flashing now and will update soon
Hi,
I have a Rhodium and so far I have successfully flashed a lot of Roms untill today...
I am trying to flash another Rom via ActiveSync, so I have connected my phone to my PC, than run the CustomRuu.exe like always, but I am stuck at 0%.
I decided to flash using the SDCard and renamed the ruu_signed.nbh to RHODIMG.nbh and than I´ve enter in the BootLoader Mode, the device tries to load the Rom, but I´ve got a white screen saying "loading..." and stays like this forever.
I cannot even HardSPL the device. I run the Rhodium-HardSPL_V2_00R3.exe but i can not get the device properly synced.
I though I had an internal memory problem so I´ve formated it using a new tool found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...12&postcount=1.
But now I´ve lost everything and I can not flash any Rom with activesync, always the same problem, stuck at 0% and then the message - "Error [276] : update error.", and if I flash from SDcard a white screen saying "loading..." and stays like this forever.
EDIT:
Can not HardSPL automatic flash, because could not get the device properly synced.
Can not HardSPL with Manual flash, stuck at 0% and then the message - "Error [276] : update error.#
Any help please.
Thanks

Then I assume you already have hard-spl on your device installed. So trying to install it again will fail.
*Go into BootLoader Mode (do a Soft Reset while holding the "volume down" key on the left side of the device. Keep holding the "volume down" key until you see tricolour screen which is the bootloader mode, then release it) and verify the screen shows 0.85.OliNex, which is the HardSPL version* Is this the hard-spl version that you have?
You didn't mention which rom you tryed to flash. Did you try other roms?

Thanks for your reply,
Yes , you are right I have already HardSPL installed - SPL-0.85.0linex.
I have tried several Roms even the Rhodium stock Rom. If I flash via activesync I get stuck at 0% and if I flash from the SDCard (RHODIMG.nbh) I get a white screen saying "loading...." with no action.
This is strange as I´ve flash so many roms so far
Have you reset both your device and computer before connecting?
Just leave it in Bootloader mode and connect it to your computer and then try flashing.
As long as you put the device in bootloader mode, you do not have to get it to sync. I've done this many times when a flash didn't go right for some reason (like I forgot something when I cooked it ).

I did both things with no luck.
I have put the device in bootloader mode connected to the computer then I´ve run the customRUU.exe but I am always stuck at 0%
This is the info I have in the tricolor screen:
RHOD100 32M SS-BC
SPL-0.85.0linex
MicroP(LED) 0x0A
MicroP(KEY) 0x04
TURBO HW/TURBO SW
TP MFG DATA
501,529 794,848
797,208 217,213
210,853 Calibrated
I will put the device in the AC power all night to see if this is a battery issue.
Thanks

I would try this first as posted by jeanrivera.
Also maybe you're customruu is somehow broken? Try downloading a new one. Also I don't know if it helps but when you flash via customruu do you have the image named ruu_signed.nbh? I don't know if it matters what kind of name it has, but it's just a thought
Hello,
While flashing a new rom I got an error message about it not being able to connect. So I had to cancel the update, but now I'm unable to connect to my phone through usb while in the boot loader.
What are my options?
Is it possible to a run a Task29 from my sd card? How would I do this?
Thanks!
Sorry, I was too quick with panicking =) Found the 'Flash with SD-card' tutorial in the FAQ.

try to hard reset the device , this is her guide HTC Alpine hard reset
To perform a full reset
A full device reset clears memory, deletes all data, and restores the Pocket PC Phone to its default settings. Programs installed at the factory remain. All data that you have created and programs you have installed are erased.
Press and hold the Power button, and then use your stylus to press the “soft reset button” at the same time, as shown below. Be sure you have backed up all your data on an SD card or on a desktop PC before performing a full reset. after you hard reset the device, connect to a USB sync and you Flash Room again All you have to remember, allow usb connection .... and not disabled its usb connection Okey if you still have problems you can contact me
Do i need to go into bootloader mode first before flashing?? Cause what i did was, connect it the comp, and while it is stil connected with windows mobile device centre and the phone is still in windows mobile desktop, then i run the MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe, and halfway upgrading, it just turn off n go back to bootloader mode...and then after that, it auto black out after each autoconfiguration.
And by Flash Rom, do you mean just run the MaUpgradeUt_noID.exe with all the files in it?? or there is something else i should do???
Sorry for my ignorance And ur guidance will be very much appreaciated!!!!

EnterBL.exe should reboot the device into bootloader only, Activesync should disable then. You can access bootloader manually, it's more safe
Now i managed to get into bootloader mode and upgrade it.. but the upgrade hangs halfway, the progress stays at 0% and saying it's upgrading radio, but always failed. What's should i do pls?

Hello,
I tried installing Android Revolution HD. Whenever I booted my phone, it kept getting stuck at the splash screen (Google [with the unlocked hanglock]). So after a quick Google, I read that this could be fixed by flashing the firmware found in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2182823.
I followed the instructions and when I reached the following step:
Type: fastboot flash zip firmware.zip and wait for process to complete.

an error appeared on my computer's command prompt and my phone rebooted.
When I now boot my phone, I get a weird warning by HTC on the Google splash screen:
This build is for development purpose only. Do not distribute outside HTC without HTC`s permission
failure to comply may lead to legal action.

and the phone still hangs on this splash screen.
When I reboot my phone using POWER + VOLUME DOWN and then enter fastboot mode, my computer no longer (it did before) recognizes my phone
USB Device not recognized.

Any ideas on how to fix this?
Thanks!

Unfortunately, I can't start fastboot. If I select fastboot and plug my phone into my computer, I get a windows error "USB device not recognized" (this did not happen before I tried to flash the firmware).
(I do know my CID is HTC__11 and my modelid is PN0710000)

Is your phone s off or s on? What firmware did you flash?
You need to update your drivers then. Re download the HTC drivers and try again. Use a different cable if you have one and ensure usb 2.0 ports, also are you Windows 8.1?

Thanks for your fast reply,
- My phone was S-OFF (I don't know whether the flashing of the firmware can change this?)
- I flashed the following zip: 2.17.401.1-custom.zip, downloaded from the Android Revolution HD blogspot.
- I'll try to re-download the HTC drivers, but it would surprise me if this solved the problem, because it worked like 2 hours ago (before I flashed the firmware).
- I used a USB 3.0 port and Windows 8.1, however, I also tried on a Windows 7 computer with a USB 2.0 port, but still, no success.
