Multipicture Live Wallpaper is the most popular way that most people do it. I personally use Tasker do it. It make take a little while for the wallpaper to load, but the benifit is, I don't need to set the different "hubs" to different default screens so that Multipic will work properly. I hope this has cleared up a little for you. If not PM me & we can discuss.

1- create a new profile. the name is optional.
2- Then choose Application
3- select ONE of the home launcher installed and hit done.
4- Add a new task and name it how ever you want (i put the name of the hub)
5- In the task edit window hit the "+'' button and select Display.
6- hit "set Wallpaper" the search for the wallpaper you want to set.
7- now done and done and apply. you re good to go.

Nice! Learn new Tasker tricks all the time! Thanks for the reply - I'll have to play with it a bit! Multipicture Live is sweet but it seemed to FC a lot when I used it on my previous phone - so I haven't played with it in a long time. I like this alternative better though!

Great Stuff! came in handy. Just a quick questions. when using a LP dock with the words already at the bottom e.g text, message etc. how do create a short cut without an icon?
As it always asking to put an icon there which just covers up the words in the dock image.

I created a bunch of gingerbread style icons that anyone is free to use if they please. The only thing I ask it that you give credit if you include them in a ROM or Theme. They are not perfect because I made them quickly, but they should be perfect looking on your phone. Use a program like BetterCut (QR code below) to apply these.

Yes. Putting into green would be great! But like "yzlvr" said above, it would be cool to have these into a launcher app, so we can use them when we want, and revert to colorful stock icons when wanted, giving everyone the best of both of the worlds.
Two things I would request.
Not all people have photochop. Please if you could separate them for ease of use?
Also.. if you could make an XDA Icon with the same type of color theme that would be awesome!

Thanks! I am going to extend the selection even further. I still have not found out how to change the icon for anything besides the dock icons.

You have to put the icon into each apk for the respective application.

So there is no program to do it? Someone should make that. Right now I am just creating more icons. Technically for this type of phone they should be 72x72 according to Google guidelines, but I'm making them 70x70 and they looked fine on my phone.

You can just use Desktop Visulizer, or if you'd rather BetterCut. No need to put them into the apk's for everyone when it's a simple, free process for them to do it themselves.

Desktop visualizer will allow you to only make custom icons for your homescreen, not in your app drawer I believe. Bettercut I believe requires the open home launcher I believe to customize the icon into the app drawer, I believe.

Ok - couple more for now. Using the generic calendar for Pocket Informant, but I have a png that should be pretty easy for you to drop into your template (attached).
Finally, I'm using the icon called contacts.png (picture of a little ABC Rolodex w/Android on it), but of the 12 icons in your pack I'm using, it's the only one where the image doesn't fill up the box completely (like the Evernote icon you made me for instance). Possible to stretch the graphic a bit to fill up the box completely?
(Yes, Cozi doesn't fill the box, but just not possible with that one).

just unzip using whatever program you would normally use. not sure about your phone, but it should work seeing as they're only 84x84 icons (normal launcherpro size)

I've decided to work on a few sliders for Widget Locker. Please note these have not been tested on any other apps. Only Widget Locker.
You should be able to scan the QR code here and install via widget locker prompt
or you can manually copy the “Theme.wltheme.zip” file to your SD Card. The theme files should be placed in:
/sdcard/data/com.teslacoilsw.widgetlocker/themes

Just a quick update. I am really missing doing wallpapers and icons and more for this wonderful xda community. I know I have been in and out for the past few months. And I just want to let you know why.
Currently I am trying to find a job that will provide me with better pay to support my family. Some of you might know that my wife was let go from her job which leaves me the only bread winner. I have three kids to care for and I need to be more active in finding a better job.
Anyway. I just felt I owed you guys an explanation for my extreme drop off in walls and other things.
I appreciate everyone's support for my work and thank you all for everything.
This doesn't mean I am done. I'm just letting you know I may not be around as much as usual. But some days you may get tired of me LOL....depends on how the job hunt is going.
