Trying to apply cyan battery meter morph on CM7 - Thunderbolt Themes and Apps

I'm trying to apply a cyan battery meter morph I found here:
http://droidpirate.com/2011/04/17/metamorph-battery-cyan-meter/
I'm trying to go for an all-cyan look using the Cyanbread theme on CM7 RC0.3. I'm just not a big fan of the stock battery. However, when I try to apply this via metamorph or by building a flashable zip via ZipViewer, the stock battery remains. I've tried re-flashing CWM Recovery, fixing permissions via CWR, to no avail. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
Here's a picture of what these icons look like:

I've applied quite a few morphs to mine but I haven't changed the battery. Have you tried the UOT kitchen?

[METAMORPH] Transparent Clock updated

Hi all,
I loved the original Transparent Clock Metamorph, but it stopped working for me on Cyanogenmod after Cyanogen included the new Eclair clock app. I modified the metamorph a bit, and now it's working.
Here is a screenshot of the clock:

Thanks go to MontAlbert (as mentioned in the thread ^), and htcmagic for the original Metamorph.
I take no credit for creating this. All I did was modify a Metamorph.
works beautifully on DM v1.0, thanks for the update
works n!ce on superD 1.10.2...
Update: Added in XML theme control for the new Metamorph release that requires it. Enjoy

New UOT Kitchen Theme

Hey guys,
here is my first UOT theme, works flawlessly on my phone. Try it out and let me know what you think.http://www.mediafire.com/?0prs7fsde3byjlt
Does anyone know if there is a battery in UOT that reads in 5% instead of the 1%?

Just go to UOT Kitchen and make your own. It is easy and you will have your own personal theme. The options that you can change are numerous. There are easy to follow instructions on uot post.

[MOD][MIUI] Jazzk Gradient Battery Percentage Mod

Prepared this one yesterday in the uot kitchen using the framework-res of the first MIUI rom.
Flash this zip file using cwm.
Switch to graphic battery in the theme preferences. Should reflect in all themes, unless they have a graphic battery built in.

[Request] CM7 theme systemui.xml help

I was able to very easily modify the Honeycream theme since it was merely a swapping of images. I wanted to do a similar modification to the CyanbreadX theme. The CyanbreadX com_android_systemui.xml doesn't call for the substitution of the Noticification Power Widget images however. I copied that part of the .xml from the Honeycream one and pasted it in.
No success however, would get FC's after I had applied the theme. All images were named properly. In case you can't tell, I'm a newbie f-stick.
So I would like to know how to edit the CyanbreadX .xml to insert the images I would like. If someone has an already modded CyanbreadX .xml all the better, I can compare it to the original, and both of my failed attempts.
To make myself feel better, here was my success with the uber easy mod to the Honeycream theme (notif. power widget images and background-removed the Bee):

I think you can probably make a fully transparent .9 status_bar_background image and replace the one in SystemUI.apk.
I haven't tried it yet but I think I did that on a Samsung ROM once.
