[Q] Theming notification bar error..any ideas?

Hi everyone,
recently, i themed my notification bar using this method...
what i did was made a back up of my original Services.jar and Framework-res file first..THEN i used those and copied over images that i want to use.. so i ONLY altered the files that were to be replaced and didn't touch anything else..when i pushed them onto my phone, the below happened... (everything else is fine though).

I dont' know why the CLEAR button and the NOTIFICATIONS title is now replaced and messed up...anybody have an idea??
note: i posted on droidforums.net as well.... and i'm trying to get as many possible answers as possible...

You should try apktool.
To modify your own file.

Actually I'd like that as well.
I hate the blackness of gingerbread CM7. I'd rather have it white just like on CM6/froyo stock.
Anyone wanna cook a theme ? ?

The framework-res.apk for Gingerbread is a lot different to Froyo but I'm sure someone can do it.
If not, wait for CyanogenMod to implement the User interface / Status Bar theming in Gingerbread.

Would it be possible to use something like Theme Porter?

i want to change the background of the popup to be less transparent.
what images/files would i need to work with?

Well the blue bar you need to edit progress_horizontal.xml in framework-res.apk/drawable.
The background image i can't remember right now i'll have to take a look.

thanks i had a feeling the progress bar was in that xml (since i noticed it from another theme) but i thought there was an image linked to it..
it worked though, i just took the one from NTSense..

A simple transparent htc stock widget...shld work on almost all gingerbread sense roms

I assume nobosy reads this thread or will respond, but I will give it a go.
I have been after this for months, and FINALLY Found it.
Can anyone tell me how this can be installed?
Is it possible to have it exactly the same but without the flippers behind the clock?
I know there are many clock widgets available, BUT none of them give you the exact same sens weather. So if this can be modified it's perfect.
It not possible thats ok, I'd be happy with this. I just work out how to install it.

I made some mod of powerwidget, but OUT make my power widget background full transprent. Any one know how to fix it ? it's a png file ? I just whant full black.

Which Rom??

pull PowerControl widget.apk with adb, extract , edit images copy black pngs over clear or deleted backrounds pngs in apk push n reboot
