Ok i am currently running on dlevs 4.2 with the latest talon kernel and i have been experimenting with undervolting no overclock and i was wondering is there a widget that will just tell you what CPU speed u are running currently. There is one speed that my phone becomes a little unstable and i want to know what speed that is so i can up the mv
When i was having Galaxy S it used to have Gamma correction control for CM9 or vodoo colour control and the kernels used to support it, but for SGN the kernels do not support gamma correction which will be highly useful to correct black clippings and other issues. Would like to know wether the future kernel builds will implement this option. :fingers-crossed:
[Q] Extreme Bare-bone & Stable ROM with Max battery?
I am looking for a stable (!), good-battery (!) and bare-bone (minimal) ROM for my Galaxy Ace.
I use Go SMS Pro, LG Camera app and Make Calls, and I can't stand running processes. And 2nd purpose is to Play Games.
Since now old version of SanGinger Ace XXKPO serves me well with Battery Extender 1.5.1.
But i want newer Stable ROM with totally DARK & Minimal Theme.

So I installed Topogigi's 2x ics rom and I found that I can't underclock the minimum cpu speed on a number of cpu speed tweaking apps including, cpu master, voltage control, no frills cpu control. Basically the maximum cpu speed is set to 1000mhz, and the minimum is set to 1000mhz which I can't change. When I used cyanogenmod 7 and the stock gingerbread rom, I could freely underclock the cpu. I was wondering whether this has anything to do with the cpu governer (which is hotplug on this rom) and/or the i/o scheduler.
