[Q] Facebook integration with samsung captivate - Captivate Themes and Apps

I changed my facebook password from my computer and my SNS sync stopped working on my samsung captivate running continuum version 4.1 . I removed the facebook account (the integrated one) and tried to add back in but it is asking me to try later all the time. I even uninstalled the facebook app that i got from the market and tried again with the SNS but again the same story. Is there anyway i can make this work again?

Looks like a bad flash. I had this issue with drop box. Reinstalling ROM solved this issue. Maybe the same applies to u too. Dropbox didn't work for me, even by erasing its data, and even by re-installing it. Clearing dalvik cache too didn't help.
Ok thanks, I will give that a try tonight

Gmail sync problem

I have this problem: gmail's app sync stopped working properly. Basically, whenever I get an email, I get the "X new mails" notification, but the problem is that what I do on the app is not reflected on my gmail accounts on the PC, therefore maybe it says I have 5 new emails, I actually have just 1 new email. If I archive an email, for example, from the app, I will still get it as new undread message on the PC. I have to redo all the work on the PC in order to get rid of this stuff. On top of that, sending emails stopped working as well, so when I get a notification on my X8 I have to pickup the computer and reply through it. It behaves like that since I restored my backup (wanted to change rom, but I didn't like the new one and restored the latest backup). The fact is that sync is enabled, I tried disabling and activating the sync again, no luck, cleared cache, no luck. Any other idea?
One suggestion is to try other version (latest preffered) of gmail.

Play store.
If you have a custom rom it may cause you this problem
Try to delete the account from the phone

Ok I tried downloading a new apk, but I get a package error
What rom are you using ? If you are in the off. Rom then you have to wipe your data

Probably it's time to change it anyway, I would love to have the latest Android 4.2 as I have on my tablet, do you have any suggestion? I need a light ROM with wi-fi/USB tethering to computer/tablet it's very important for me because I often work outdoors and I always need internet. I have a decent internet plan on my x8 so I usually use it to give internet to my computer. The native wifi hotspot on this rom works great on USB, but not too well wifi, so I can't use it on my tablet
So I got the latest MiniCM10 - a great rom, indeed, but the problem is not 100% fixed as now google syncs every hour or so which is annoying... I wish it was like with my old CM7 when it was working

If he will factory reset he will still have that issue. Coz it is default like you have in your own browser.
Have you tried to change the home page?

I've been using this device 3 months now, it started happening 2 days ago.
Any idea why??

Looks like you got two windows open in browser. Can't you just close that second one?
