I've jst purchased the sony ericsson mw 600 bluetooth handset. While using it to make calls, i'm not able to get the voice over on my mw600's headphones. It comes via the speakephone on tab. Infact even on my iphone 4 the same thing is happening.
Can anyone pls help me in sorting out this issue ???
Read the manual. I use the SE MW600 with my TAB
I did. It says to press the call button on handset after the call has been dialed. Did that but it did not work. U did not have to do any settings for ur handset ??

Are you guys able to connect the headset to the media? If so, what is your firmware version?
The phone connection works fine but,even tough the profile is set, I can't get it to connect for media use. The logcat doesn't show any exception (or any clue regarding media).

You managed to get skype working? It was too choppy when I tried.
Did you try to overclock ??
I close all other aplications and set the clock to 252MHz.
Works realy good. The only problem i have is not very strong WiFi signl, reason- USB WiFi card

What I do is use the blue tooth toggle app I found somewhere on this forum to send all sound to my BT headset. So I use skype just like I do my regular phone calls.

Have you plugged the headset in ? I just had this problem and just needed to plug it in again a couple of times to get it to realise that it didn't have the headset plugged in.

if you use the bad sync cab to connect PPC and PC it can make that problem.
af ter the time conneting to the PC you must soft reset you PPC that problem will be solved.

I have a BA with WM 6.1 by xplode. The radio version is 1.12
1. I can use my BT headset for phone calls but not for listening to music from wm player.
I tried enabling music thru my Jabra BT135 headset but when i tap and hold the headset in bt settings, the option for "set as wireless stereo" comes contrast inverted (not enabled)
What can I do to enable the option
2. How do i FIND OUT WHAT BLUETOOTH STACK DO I HAVE.
3. Do I need to upgrade to my radio rom

I have tried all the files and still the headset profile does not come up on the services offered by the BT 135
..... but the fact remains that people are using the 135 as a headset for listening to music... check this link...

In my opinion, all it would require is for the connection to be activated in a manner similar to that of an incoming phone call. When an incoming call is received, something activates the link between the phone and the headset and the connection starts working and call can be heard. If the same link is activated when the wm player is started then the problem would be solved as the audio would be directed to the headset and not to the speaker.... i dont know the technicalities of how the link is activated or else I would have done the same.

I am pretty sure I am not the first one to think along these lines, so I am seeing if anybody has heard any announcements along these lines from hardware companies, as I would be very interested in this kind of setup.
Basically, what I have in mind is a sort of bluetooth-connected phone, with a minimal screen and numberpad that would be paired with a tablet with voice capabilites to act as a real phone while the tablet is tucked away in a bag or pocket. So basically you could treat it as a phone, while the tablet is actually doing all the work.
The advantage being you could have full tablet and phone capabilites from two pieces of hardware while being on one phone plan, not to mention the phone could be made incredibly small and light as there would be much less hardware necessary for it to function.
Now naturally as the voice and data enabled tablet space is just now reaching the market, I wouldn't expect anything to be available, but as I said before I can't be the first one to think of this, so if anybody has heard of any murmurs regarding such an idea please do tell.

I don't think so, it wasn't mentioned in the initial announcement/press release IIRC.
Also, on one of the pages on SE's site about the features of LiveView, it says:Communications
Messaging - Display incoming SMS
. . . . . . . - Display RSS feeds
Social networking services - Display Facebook™ updates
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . - Display Twitter™ updates
Calls - Show phone number for incoming calls
. .. . - Mute ringer for incoming phone calls
No mention of calls whatsoever.
I think you're probably as well off going for a standard bluetooth headset and maybe using voice-dialling or just dialling from the Tab itself.

I just bought the I9305 4g and i wanted to use my jabra BT620s with it.
In the beginning all was fine (phone call and music) but now i can just use it for phone call, no more media sound get out of it, I already tryied to check the box to activate media sound output but impossible it still stay unselectable.
I deleted the headset, paired it again and again, restart phone etc but nothing change.
Anyone have same trouble or a solution
