OS Distribution: CM7 Nightly #100 with 06/09 OC kernel.
CPU setting : conservative (300MHZ~800MHZ)
Problem Description:
When I use the latest revision of moboplayer to play rmvb files (640x360), noise (audio popping) continuous occurred during video playing. The problem can be solved after rollback of the OC kernel to 05/13 version. I think that there must be some problem in 05/23 and 06/09 OC kernel. Can anyone help me to report the problem to Dalingrin? Thank you!

I am using nightly build 41 and it's working really, looks and feels way better than RC4.
After updating to the 41 nightly, I also reinstalled Dalingins OC kernel 041311A and ALSA 041411.
Before installing the OC kernel and ALSA I tested out video playback by using mobo player and an AVI file. It was very stuttery, even with the I put the CPU to 925 and the governor to performance.
After installing the OC kernel and ALSA video playback was super smooth, no stutters or anything. This was with CPU at 800 and governor set to ondemand.
My question, I read somewhere that ALSA was now integrated into the nightly builds, is this true?? Does this mean I don't have to install ALSA anymore?
And, more out of curiousity, I thought ALSA improved video playback? If it is build into the nightly builds, then why was performance so bad playing video before I installed it?

Have you found out if ALSA is built into any of the latest releases including stable 7.0.2?
ALSA fix has been merged since around nightly 40 or so.

Yes Mate, ALSA is now part of the nightly builds, since nightly build 40, so no need to install it.

my phone freezes many times when I play games like:
- Blood and Glory, Quell, GTA3 and others.
Sound and screen freezes totally and I need to restart my phone.
I'm using GamerzRom v6.3 with Semaphore 2.50bm.
Does anybody know how to fix this?

You can install Chainfire3D and try the different driver available (nvidia driver work fine).
as far as my view..... its may be a ROM related problem....... when i was in STOCK GB i was able to play all the game without any freezes but now in ICSSGS many games freezes....... so my advice is to try another ROM

Flash not-so-overclocked kernel if you have oc-kernel. If you don't It's because crappy CPU and you should overclock more

I believe it's a kernel problem, some problem with cpu or overclocking settings. This rom is called 'gamerzrom' and it was made for gaming, so..
I lowered some voltage settings and changed governor to smartass2 and phone seems more stable. If it fails I will try to overclock to 1,3ghz and install Chainfire3d driver.

Im currently on checkrom v5 and the franco kernel. I recently experienced problems with the stock video player and that i suddendly cant play mkv files.. I get an error sayin unsupported format, if i try to use a different player as MX Player i only get the files to work in SW decoding. Does anyone know whats wrong? How can i fix this...

ROM:[ICS][4.0.4] Doc's Master ICS V11
when I play 720p vidoes with MX player like a movie or TV show It plays suing S/W decoder not H/W decoder .I have tried other roms with patches but it didnt work.
Another point:
