Good morning!
I have a Galaxy Tab Wifi that I'd like to mess around with HC on, but I can't seem to find a CWM that fits my specific Tab. The default CWM from the market works, but when I Flash ClockworkMod Recovery, it only shows the Galaxy S I9000 or the GalaxyS I9000 (MTD).
I don't think that's right, is it?
Hey,
there ain't no custom roms for the wifi version. If you want to flash HC, than you have to start from the very beginning, by writing an image
Greetings

Hello all.
I was trying to get recovery mode 2e on my galaxy s.
I used the method described by angiogram in http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=14323608 which involved replacing a recovery file in the system/bin folder and adding some files in the system/xbin folder using root explorer.
Turned the phone off. Tried recovery mode but got stuck on galaxy s GT-I9000 screen. Held down the power button then phone started normally. Then (silly of me) tried to reboot in recovery mode from ROM Manager this left stuck on the same screen except phone wont start up normally anymore still gets stuck.
Download mode does work though.
How do I fix this? I dont care what I'm left, any ROM, any Kernal.

Froyo 2.2 DTJP5

Don't worry. I flashed this Flash Ficeto_JVH_Odin ROM as per the start of darkys instructions for the new ROM worked like a charm
i flashed darky's yesterday, so far its pretty good
battery life is amazing ( more than i expected )
so you should give it a try
you will still need recovery 2e for the ROM itself
good luck
Hi all!
I have an older Samsung Galaxy 7" Tablet (model number SCH-I800). I have installed ROM Manager and I want to flash the ClockworkMod Recovery.
I was reading instructions on some other website and they said, after you click the "Flash ClockworkMod Recovery", you have to choose your device.
Well the problem I am having is my device does not show up. The only 2 devices that I have a choice for are: Samsung Epic4G and Samsung GalaxyS i9000.
Should I just choose one of those? If not, is there a way to update ROM Manager to include the recovery for my device?
Thanks!
Don't use rom manager.

Very sorry to bring up a dead thread but felt it should be noted that the link above applies to a different tab, not the sch-i800.
Hi All
Im sorry for having to open another thread. I have a Galaxy Tab 8.9 that was sitting not on for a few weeks. When I tried turning it on last night it just got to the Samsung Galaxy TAB 8.9 load screen and no further. I can flash new bootloaders, roms, CWM and .pit files in download mode but nothing has worked currently. I am unable to boot to CWM recovery I have tried installing the stock rom and stock recovery with no Joy. Is this completely ruined do you think?
Any help will be GREATLY appreciated
Kind regards

Did you remember to wipe data and cache from recovery after installing with Odin?
If that doesn't work, have you tried to return to Froyo and see if it boots?
If you have a sdcard,
Put cm9 based thing in it, flash cf root with cwm(by Odin)
Then you can go recovery.
Flash cm9 first and you can go any ROM.
Don't forget to wipe!
