[Q] What is the default pin for the screen lock? - Nook Color General

I just installed nightly 105. Because I had some battery problem, I wiped dalvik cache and then I found that my password to unlock the screen does work anymore. I've installed nightly for many times and this is the first time I wiped dalvik cache. Is there a default password for the lock screen? Or is there a way to bypass the lock screen? Thanks a lot in advance.
Update: after I rebooted a couple of times, suddenly the old pin worked again. Not sure why.

[Q] Galaxy S i9000 lockscreen password problem

So I wanted to try out the lockscreen password method, so I did.
But now I just regret doing it, not even after 1 minute, it doesn't accept my password I set up, which is just weird and odd. Is there some kind of recovery password app or anything just to unlock my phone again. I'm out of ideas.
EDIT: Nvm, I just wiped my user data, and re-flashed darky 10.2.2 all is fine now.

[Q] PIN Problem..Please Help!!!

Hello Everyone,
I just seriously dont know how it happened, but my mobile fails to recognize my Pin. Initially I had set up the pin lock and my pin code was 1234
Later i wiped the dalvik cache, and the battery stats, and after I rebooted it fails to recognize my pin password. So is there a way to bypass it....my phone is running on GingerDX v26 stock kernel. I will be seriously grateful if someone has a solution. Thanxx in advance

Changing Pin On Encrypted Device

I changed my pin last night, and everything was working fine. But this morning I tried unlocking (I accidentally used the old pin first) and neither of the two pins will unlock my screen. The new pin WILL decrypt my phone when booting the system and into TWRP, but not to unlock the screen. What the hell is going on?
I'm not sure why that happened to you, but you should be able to fix it by going into TWRP and deleting all of the files in /data/system that start with "locksettings." or end with ".key".
It was really weird. Nothing was working. Clean flashing (I'm using RR) kept giving me boot loops, so I ended up completely wiping my internal storage and re-encrypting once I set up my phone again.

This happened to me again, but deleting those files did the trick.
Is usual or am I doing something wrong (I never had an encrypted phone before).
I -wiped data, dalvik, cache -flashed new system and gapps -rebooted

My phone now bypasses the lock screen on reboot, after screen timeout or manually locking it's back functions correctly. Any fixes?
(sorry if my posting etiquette is bad)

Try going into Settings and removing and re-adding your PIN.

No luck, I also tried removing it, rebooting, and adding it back.
Are you sure re-encryption was successful after you wiped userdata? Also, is it asking you whether to "Require PIN to start device" when you change your PIN, and are you selecting that option?

Yes, the encryption appears to be successful, and I enter my pin before fulling booting.
It's behaving normally now, I'm not sure how many reboots I had before this happened. It was also after I re-added my fingerprints.
This is also a known problem of TWRP after restoring a backup. In that case it can be fixed by deleting /data/system/locksettings.db

[solved] Lockscreen bug after reboot (Android Pie)

Every time I reboot the phone, the lockscreen stays blank (no text just wallpaper with very low brightness), I found a temporary fix, swipe down from notifications and then it goes back to normal.
It's very annoying, anyone else have it? Or do I need to reset the phone again?
FIXED: A third factory reset solved it in case anyone else is having this problem.
I think you should do a factory reset.
When I restart phone sytem is forcing to use pin code to unlock phone for the first time. After that screen stay locked and I need to unlock again. Is this a bug or normal behaviour.

Try entering the bootloader i.e official recovery and try remove cache and dalvic cache if there is no option like this then do wipe cache partion .
If you have pc then try using easus mobisaver or wondershare toolkit to remove phone lock .
Or even odin for windows, run it and do remove cache or dalvic cache .
