[APP]Black & Green Themed Miui Music ... Amazinq? Hell Yeah..

So as the title says, this is a themed miui music app i made for my recently released update for a rom i made and decided to share it with you guys as i think you all will like it... well lets go to the action
Should work on almost all roms
The app is completly themed, hope you all like it...
Instructions
*Download The App attached at the bottom
Place on your sdcard..
*Using root explorer or any other explorer u want and go to sd and find the miui app
*Hit copy by long pressing and then hit back one time, go into the "system" folder, then Into the "app" folder and hit paste when you there
*After you done that just reboot and enjoy the app
**Also when you press the bottom buttons like next or previous it will be like green... any button you press will be green

It says to push to your system/app folder using Root Explorer. Very easy method when apps won't install.

ive tried every root explorer app! every time i try to install it says "you cannot paste here because the file system is read-only."... i want miui music playerrrrr!!!n help please and thankyou!

Change root explorer to R/O and it will save.

if youre installing into the /system folder then its required to make the directory r/w or you won't be able to copy the apk to the system directory. for market apps this process isn't required.

[Q] Having problems porting.

I get Status Error 7 and I don't know how to fix it, I switch the updater-scripts from an Exhibit ROM and I still get problems. Any help would be great. Thanks.

Try using twrp and disable signature and md5, but at least you are on the right track about the updater script being one of the issues. Once again Google, there are many people with your issue.

Did you ever unzip your ROM because if you did at any point it won't flash

No. It's just the Updater-Script. It's my fault because I don't know what to insert and what to remove and what not. I need either your help, Tim's help, or Teq's help.

EDIT: I'm getting progress, there's alot of errors in the updater-script and thats what making it not work. So I will keep trying and give you guys feedback.

removing app

I installed this app to try it, "Xperia_Launcher_2.apk" and I do not want to use it and want to remove it.
when I go to installed applications it only gives me the option to force stop.
I not sure how to uninstall the app?

You need a root uninstall app or use a root file explorer to manually remove it.

I did, but apperently I did not get the correct file because it still show up.

Can you post screenshots? Might help to see what you mean (even though it seems obvious).

Ported roms-APN backup/restore

It is suggested to use APN Backup/Restore prior to flashing a ported ROM.
FYI
To do this you must download the donate version of Titanium Backup in order to convert the APN Backup into a working apk.

Thanks for this You can also download Root Browser for free and move the APN app from data/app to system/app :good:

Thanks to both of you as I'm sure this will help a lot of people save time and frustration. Im sure someone will still need a complete walkthrough though. Or a video.

I was using The Ported MIUI ROM (With 3G data only) http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2340129
Now I am using the Avatar ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2317987
I've tried many other ROMs, none of them could give me 4G data. Should I manually type the APN's?

I've had that happen a couple times. Update your prl and profile and that should do the trick. I had to update prl twice and it finally worked

Mine says 55015... update prl first and then profile

Landon should be right...you can also see which one it is when it puts the apps logo on the left hand side :good:

Already downloaded it as soon as you mentioned it haha. Now do I hafta do that or every ported ROM I flash? I wanna try out Hyperdrive Port and the Wicked v4 Port.

It might not be necessary to do it for those roms....data will work...in most cases, not 4g. In that case, you would apply the APN Backup and Restore Fix

[Q] looking for demand 5 catch up TV apk file

just wondering if any UK RAZR I owners have access to the demand 5 apk file or if they own a Samsung phone could they rip it and put on drop box or something as only Samsung devices in the UK have access to it.

Yo dudes I have a copy works on my hox ill post a link if u want, it only works on WiFi for all handsets though which is poinless if u have all u can eat data......

Thanks very much,I know you need WiFi but I mainly wanted it for home any way and for my nexus7, it's not an easily available apk but now I have it ,its titanium backup time lol.

THanks so much! However.. like most official VOD apps, this refuses to play on rooted systems, unfortunately. I tried many "root hiders" including an xposed module (on CM11) but still no joy. Same for Sky etc apps.
