I just got s-off and rooted by alpharevx.
Just wondering which gingerbread rom to choose for Bell incredible s? My phone is Virgin mobile incredible s in Canada, so I guess it's the same one as bell's.
If I flash a customized rom, should I flash a new radio as well? If so, which radio?

if you flash a GB Rom you'll also need to flash the recommended GB radio.

Probably the radio you were on before you updated. Which nexus version do you have, ATT?
im on the tmobile one...
so wipe, flash radio, then flash Desire rom? thats all the steps i would need to do?
thanks so much
could anyone let me know the best radio?
no one? really?
Radio performance varies by region. No one can tell you the "best" one for you unless they follow you around all day.
well what is the STOCK radio that came with my nexus when i got it with 2.1 before i upgraded to froyo

Hi,
Here is the radio from the Bell GB OTA update, edited to remove everything but the radio.
Preq: Unlocked and CWM recovery partition installed. May work with regular CWM, not tested.
Download it here.
I am currently using it with Bell's 2.2.2 Froyo. Speed test isn't the greatest, 77.15 got better results for me, probably best with GB. Nope, not that great with GB either, oh well..
EDIT: The new IHOP-Bell seems to have had some affect on this radio, speed is a lot better now. CG47 seems to affect the radio.
Cheers!

Did you use a RUU to update to the Arabic GB ROM? If you didn't and flashed a ROM using ClockworkMod then you need to flash a GB radio, too.
i flashed through ruu so now i need flash GB radio?
i try return to the orginal rom ruu sasktel but i have now error 130 and i cant return to it..can change the radio maybe the radio is the problem?

The RUU should have contained a compatible radio for the ROM. I would check the Radio List thread in the Development thread to see if there are any other GB radios that might be compatible with your rom.
thank you i will wait you..i'm so sad from this problem
and if you have good rom with compatible radio give me.

Do you want to upgrade to the Virgin Mobile version of GB for your phone? You state that you are rooted, but how did you root? If you used AlphaRevx/Revolutionary to gain S-OFF and installed ClockworkMod, then you can simply flash one of the custom rooted GB ROMs in the development section.
If you want just an rooted, unbranded HTC Sense GB ROM, then you can flash this:

That particular ROM is Android 2.3.3 with Sense 2.1. There is also a prerooted version of this ROM that can be flashed from ClockworkMod. It can be found here:

I know personally because I installed it on my IncS. My IncS initially can branded by Bell Mobility in Canada with Android 2.1/Froyo and Sense 2.0.
From reading the forums, I knew that a HTC RUU with WWE in the name was an unbranded World-Wide English version, so I then installed the the Froyo WWE version to unbrand my IncS. From that point on, I received OTA notification of WWE updates, but I waited for the official RUU to get posted. 2.12.405.x was the first WWE Gingerbread ROM, soon followed by 2.30.405.1 which I ran until last month when the GB 2.3.5/Sense 3.0 3.08.405.4 RUU was posted.
