Hi everyone...
Just when I think no one helps eachother anymore, I am given new faith in humanity... let me explain..
I have been "**** on" many times in my life... little faith in people anymore... I mean, we live in a world where you can actually have CRAP physically mailed to someone annonymously (www.poopsenders.com a real site)... So I am very cautious of people, and I guess live a sort of cynical life...
Recently my family and I upgraded out previous generation phoens to Touch Pro variants (mostly Fuze's).. we sll got out phones preowned.. and most in less thant desirable shape.. one battery onyl held a charge for 12 hours max (instead of 2.5 days like out other ones on the same rom)... scratches... mis-matches stylus, etc...
Then klown_41143 posted that he recently upgraded his phone, and would offer his old accessories for free to anyone who wanted them... I was skeptical at first.. I mean, why woudl this guy jsut give this stuff for free (2 OEM batteries, 2 styluses, a battery cover and a a300 adaptor.... I thought it was a joke, or he would want something in return... So I follow the directions in the post... and I get a responce from klown_41143 .. He would be happy to send it all to me, free of charge.. I am still thinking it is some sort or scam, but I thank him...
Then this monday he sends me a tracking number.. I am suprised... I check it out.. looks legit.. I wait.. .and this morning I got the package... exactly as described.. I was shocked... Here is this guy I never met... don't even recall if I ever posted a reply to one fo his psots before or vice versa... Not only does he send me stuff he could sell on here to make a few $$$, he pays extra to send it priority mail so I get it quickly, and even get a tracking number for me... I am judt realyl grateful... I know, some used items that he has little to no use for, "big deal".. but it was more than that for me...
So basically, even though this guy is a Jr. member here, if you see a post or something, please as a favor for me, go out of your way to help this guy... I would personalyl apprecitate it.... thanks for reading all my babble...

My step son accidently dropped his old 2nd generation iPod, it landed on the headphone jack and dislodged the jack. Of course no jack , no sound. This kid lives for his music, plays the guitar, loves garage band and thru working and saving for iTunes and downloading every CD I had , his Mother had and friends , had a iTunes library of over 3000 songs.
We all had a very tough financial year last year and didn't have lot of money , certainly not enough to buy the kids what they really wanted for Christmas. I felt so bad for my step son, that for Christmas, I wrapped my iPod Touch that I had gotten 2 years earlier when times were a lot better for us. He opened it for Christmas and was thrilled and so thankful even though it was 2 yrs old and all he got.
Last month he was at a party at his " friend's " house with other " friends ". Put his iPod down for a split second on a table while he talked to someone, turned around and it was gone. No one admitted taking it , it was just gone. He was just devastated, his prized possession.
My 8 year old in all his kindness gave him his shuffle until we can get him another music player.
Call your friend a flaming f**king, a**hole for me

I really wanted to. But he was such a good friend, he was like there for me when I was a freshman with no friends. I felt betrayed by his ethics. I don't know what to think about him.
But I did tell that what he did was immoral and that he should have tried to return it. I also told him that I disapproved.
But as for the original poster, I was going to say that I couldn't believe klown did that for a stranger, and I felt something fishy was going on... I mean he should make the receiver pay for shipping atleast right?.
Can klown please step up and talk? Is he rich or something?

For the record, I am by no means rich, wealthy or loaded. Lmao. Extra parts were just that, extra. And for the small lot of stuff it would have cost more to ship than it was worth. Free stuff to good ppl, yhats how I was raised and try to do my best to stick with that tradition. As far as the priority shipping, everyone hates waiting on anything. Free or other wise. I am very glad that the stuff went to good use to a good family. Keep ur eyez peeled for other "free stuff" posts by me, im all the time giving something away

Well played that man. The old philosophical debate is whether there are truly any altruistic deeds, but it's a step in the right direction at least. I always give away stuff i don't use, either to friends or charity shops. I've donated my entire book collection, designer clothes i've never worn, leftover PC hardware from upgrades etc. Right now i'm sitting on a Creative x-fi, OCZ Vertex and Nvidia 8800 GTX Ultra and an old copy of Win Vista. If i do the Sandybridge upgrade i've been considering i've basically got a spare 'puter. Decisions, decisions.
Anyway, it's nice to be nice!
oh Lord Android i have sinned. see yesterday was my girlfriends n I's anniversary. and she had a "surprise" for me. i was hoping it was a threesome with her beautiful ass step sister lol anywho, when i come to open up the wrapped box she handed to me, it was an iphone 4......my heart sunk for a moment. i didnt wanna be a bad boyfriend n curse her out so i accepted it. having using it for a day its not as bad as i thought it would be but still. im so used to android that this doesnt even compare to Android. cant even find a good twitter app that pushes my mentions and DMs. anyways, i dont wanna be a bad boyfriend so ill snuggle my Nexus One in its white Google box for now. it needs a good rest after all the heavy usage the past months i gave it.
anyways enough about my rant. do you guys use any OS besides the Android OS which is clearly the best of all i currently have a G1 unlocked, an N1, and an iPhone 4. what about u guys?

I have a great idea for your iPhone. Put the sim back in the N1, and use the iPhone as an mp3 player and to play games on (after jailbreaking of course). This way you will save you N1's battery life, and if someone steals your iPhone while playing on the train, it's just an iPhone, not your Nexus. lol

If a girl is dating a boy with a nexus one, and isn't smart enough to realize that just the fact that you own a nexus one likely means you wouldn't ever want an iphone...she's not worth dating.

The iPhone 4 is an awesome phone and superb hardware. The only problem is the OS is just boring and not as good to me.
Iphone4's retina display n hd capabilities with froyo would definitely rock...

Ouch, for a tech geek, that's the equivalent of expecting to be the giver in a threesome with her step-sister but instead being the receiver in a threesome with her step-father.
I kid I kid. And come on everyone, the significant other of every tech geek isn't always going to be a tech geek themselves. She tried doing something sweet (wouldn't have happened in my case though **cough cough**) and he didn't want to upset her by turning it away.
So here's the solution... use it for a couple weeks and then ask a friend that she doesn't know to pretend to mug you and steal the phone. Or "accidentally" drop it in the sink while you're doing dishes. Then you can say "oh no! I'm so sorry. At least I've still got my Nexus One though."
EDIT: And for the record, I'm not knocking the iPhone 4. For what it is, it's actually a great device. Its downfall is Apple's tight policies over it (my opinion). But a tech geek is harder to shop for than a woman.

Any one else hate shopping with women? What bugs me the most is they have to try on ever little thing they like! And half of the time they don't buy it! I'm actually at the mall right now with my sisters and theyve been in the sane store for like 2 hours! I'm about to bang my head on the floor till my ears bleed

not buying stuff on the day does make sense - means she didn't waste money on clothes she wouldnt wear, and got rid of the impulse buy, and only got stuff she liked.
I like shopping - its fun. I get to piss around a lot with my fianceé whilst she shops so its no big problem! Besides, it also has brownie points....

I took my girlfriend Christmas shopping last year and told her she could get what she wanted(me paying for it) and well my wallet was almost empty when we left 2 hours later, but it paid off in the long run.

I actually don't really mind shopping with my wife. When it comes to clothes, she's very selective when it comes to trying things on.
She only goes berserk when it comes to shoes. But then every shoe shop has some place for me to sit. So, I use the opportunity to fiddle around with my smartphone.

I have finally (after almost a year)have broken up with my HTC HD7. Sold it for a Motorola RaZr.
It had been a good year, with some ups and more than a few downs..Mainly the pace at which the Marketplace is developing is what made me jump the boat.
Not that I regret my decision of buying the HD7...

This is funny. After leaving windows phone for android, and the HTC sensation, my gf said to me, take me back. Today we are transferring back to the hd7. She said, I just like wp better. I have the bionic. I have brought home the razor and the maxx. She wanted no part of them.
So she is back on the hd7 and a happy camper. Good luck with the razor. Grass looks greener, does not always come true. I've been watching that phone since 11/11. Be careful-

Android (AKA RaZr) is slightly more flexible...I mean common, its all about preferences...I am quite satisfied now...and yes, you are right the glass is greener on this side...
But it hardly matters...it looks green from an angle, not straight upfront...

Either he's being sarcastic or he's just wants attention. The iPhone 5 is behind in hardware. My brother is an iPhone users but not one of the idiots who just buys an iPhone because of the name. My brother and I always talk about the differences in our phones and he knows that iPhone is behind in the hardware department. Apple makes good products however they know they have a leash on majority of it's users who will follow them like lemmings off a cliff. Many people who buy iPhone don't even know what they are buying. It's more of a status symbol, a fad, a bling, whatever you wanna call it. Personally I don't care if you're getting an iPhone. You're succumbing to Apple's tactics and you will keep buying inferior phones cause they know they got you hooked. I could go on and on about it. Just don't let the door hit you on the way out.
The bar I go to [too often perhaps but that is another story] had a bunch of peeps that iphones. Now I don't think but only one has a crapple. They all jumped ship to Androids and like them much better. Regardless if the OP is honestly enthusiastic about it more power to him/her.
The OP is entitled to do as he wants. He wants the iPhone5 then so be it. I'm pretty sure most of us don't care and posts like these aren't necessary. It's pretty much like waving a piece of meat at a bunch of hungry wolves. This post is really going to get nowhere. GL with that iPhone5 and be prepared to stand in line for hours. My brother did that last year and he's smart enough to preorder this one this time.
I figured they were sarcastic but you never know. As far as the iPhone goes it is a solid, easy to use phone for people that aren't in to messing with phones. They can check there email, listen to music, put it on an iPod dock, play Angry Birds and of course make phone calls. My wife has one and has a hard time using my Bionic on ICS. Another issue that some people have is that they buy and android phone and its Junk from the get go. There are dozens of different makes and models on all the different carriers and and you buy a crappy device it can taint there taste for android cause they think ALL the android phones are bad like theres. Apple has one solid phone that is the same on all carriers. I have a friend that had a Droid 2 and now has a HTC Thunderbolt. He IS getting the iPhone 5 because of all the bad experiences he's had with the HTC. He has never used ICS or JB which I believe is the BEST thing to happen to an Android device.
I LOVE macs. Always have. I have a Mac Mini that I run OSX 10.6.8 and Windows 7 Professional on. It gives me the best of both worlds. I won't knock the iPhone, but with the solid hardware that is coming out and the vastly improved OS's like ICS and JB I think Google is on to something...
How is this worth mentioning? Has nothing to do with the Bionic.
