i'd like to differ... it doesn't have htc dialer.... something that i like the most.... the only reason i don't use a AOSP rom is that the dialer and everything is so dark and dingy and not so attractive.... bt then thats just me... any ways good rom ... keep it going..

Ergh. You need to have 2.X.X.X recovery to install this rom. Either fastboot it or get it from rom manager and temporarily boot to it from rom manager to install the rom.

as he said, with recoveries higher that 2.5 , you'll only be able to install roms with android 2.3

Perform a Wipe Data in Clockworkmod before flashing a new ROM. Thus, perform a Wipe, then try reinstalling.

why i can't download it? what i downloaded is only 46k...
I got it installed, i can pick Live Wallpaper under Menu -> Wallpaper -> Home but it never show the live wallpaper. It just stay on the default wallpaper.
ah i found the problem i forget to del the Rosie.odex
Please load the NEWFIX again and try.. please clean the dalvik-cache after install the zip

Same as before... All the options is there, i can see the live wallpaper preview but it never add's it when i press set wallpaper.
Normal wallpaper changes fine... it just dont add the live one... I had it working with your rom but it did feel to sluggy on the phone and there was some default apps that was't able to start (Might have been user error) so i did go back to the rom you get on when you do the rooting.
try the version above i updated again.. for stock roms it must work...
Might have been the dalvik-cache step... still new at it.. just got the phone yesterday after 2½ years iphone user... Did just clear the cache and is booting now to see if that did it...

Nope was not that... Will try the fixed one again and then clear the cache right after installing it...

Nope still the same after running the fix one and clearing the dalvik-cache.... it never sets the live wallpaper...

please look with any File Manager in System\app\Rosie.odex if this file is still there LWP cant work..
The one that gets installed when rooting it, i am guessing it is the WWE 1.31 version poul install when you root...
i have tryed all the LWP and now that i tryed to kill sense and use the google home screen i can see the LWP running there...
I see your nick and logo when choosing sense again but still static wallpaper... so it gets changed on the google homescreen but not in sense.

Yep that file is there... is it ok to delete..??
i think you can´t delete it with the Manager.. but try the odex file is not needed... maybe you need to delete it with SDK and a adb command
True filemanager was not able to delete it... i am in adb shell now to take a look if i can locate it there.
try this...
"adb uninstall system/Rosie.odex"
it´s very strange my update.zip del this file in normal case..?!

Actually i could remove it but original lock screen resources are missing so you will have a trasparent-imageLess lock screen.
At the moment i don't know how to add these resources.

I think it's related to facebook (that i removed) i'm cocking it again in.
Try to download it and let me know if is still pop out com.htc.bgp (i can't test cause i don't have a facebook account).

Yes, still got no Facebook sync and FC com.htc.bgp
umh... I really can't understand what causes this. I think it happens when the sync start, but i never had a FC so i can't debug.
Fezze installed Facebook for android and it went good.
Try installing Facebook.apk attached on the first post.
In the while i'm working on a 2.03.405.3 based version with Launcher2
(LauncherPro is optional in /data/app so that it can be removed)
EDIT: 1.2 Ready. Hope i solved all the issues.

Not like zip, install it like backup.
Put the backup on sd card, put 2010-10-30.22.07.11 folder to clockworkmod/backup

I also use vodafone nl. It was rebooting itself very much times so sorry but i uninstalled it. The grapighs do are really good. Maybe you could delete the standard bookmarks for the next users.

In this version, more system apps are removed, some are themed and some apps are updated. So it's definately recommended to wipe System. (I think it's even in the updater-script.)
But of course, you can leave the data partition. I think it won't harm your data.
And as you should do with every update / new rom flash: Nandroid backup!

If you dont have the Rosie extension installed, you need to activate the included 'auto mount' app.

So if some is using the rom can you test something for me? Can you swap the settings.apk from my mokee release with the settings.apk from cm.7.2 stable for crespo? This can fix the about phone fc. I cant try it at the moment :/

Wasn't it better to swap the phone apk?
I'll do what you ask as soon as i get of work and get home..
Edit: ha sorry you meant the "about phone"... sorry.... the "about phone" fc is a common error on MokeeOS port for nexus s... I think it´s just isn't able to show the info, so it fc's....
But I'll try to do it...give a couple of hours...

Dialer is working fine, right? if so, there's no need to swap phone.apk, but i'll get in that fc..

yes dial is fine. the only fc is when you tap on "about phone" so i think its the settings.apk
This is a nice rom , but needs to be polished a bit. First of all play store doesnt work it force closes always no matter what I do.

don't work for me, i clear data and cache of google framework services, reboot and when i lauch play store it FC. i can't install nothing because there no filemanager include in the rom i can't install APK file directly.
It seem to be a god rom but in this state i can't use it
Install file manager off googlestore or mi explorer off xda ( Google search it) install rom manager and fix permission
If all fails flash the rom again but remember wipe dalvic cache

How can i install APK without selecting it with a filemanager in the phone ?????.
