Here's the stock firmware. I can confirm it works perfect. Just follow the directions.

EA24 is 2.2 isn't it?
Yes, but you want it to be working again don't you... This will get you up and running again so you can then try to upgrade to 2.3.3 again. You might need to check your bootloaders aren't locked though. Not sure as I don't have a CDMA tab.
I put thw stock.rom back on and unrooted my tab and it updated ota to 2.3 gingerbread ..

I read and reread the overcome step by step on flashing to gingerbread.
I am curious if instead of proceeding to flash the overcome rom I decide to try out the stock gingerbread first.
If I get to the step after flashing the stock gb (step 7 in the overcome step by step) wherein I wipe/factory reset will I get a usable tab, gingerbread problems notwithstanding? That is the step where the setup screen.
Yes you can flash the stock rom without flashing the overcome rom.

Andychud : beware, I don't know if you can flash this rom with you p1000T tab, it's for p1000(euro tab) Do a search before flashing. All I know is it's alson compatible with asian tab.
Edit : nevermind what I said. I saw that you can flash the euro rom on a p1000t.

Thanks for the warning. I also just got an email from a friend in Oz with exactly same model as me. He said it flashed no problem with euro stock gingerbread. He also reports that everything is working & it generally seems much more responsive.

do you want to reflash froyo overcome? Or return your tab back to standard, any case, you should be safe if you do a Odin flash back to a rotohammer froyo, then the froyo rom of choice, just follow the overcome instructions but switch the roms for what I said
swyped from a galaxy far far away...
i wanna make my galaxy tab back to normal, just like a freshly baked cake out from the box. can you tell me what firmware do i need to use? im using asia Galaxy Tab. cause im not the expert, this OverCome rom my uncle helped me to do it now hes away, i cant undo it =(
based on the firmwares found on samfirmware, there are different stock asian firmwares available. there is an Indian version (P1000DD), south east asian version (P1000DX), Hong Kong version (P1000ZH) and Taiwan version (P1000ZT).
i myself keep 2 froyo firmwares to go back to:
P1000DXJK2 - which was the firmware that came with my tab when i bought it sometime in december.
P1000DXKM3 - which was posted sometime in february/march that i got from a thai forum.
Singapore galaxy tab should be south east asian right?

yup. SouthEast Asian Firmware is for you, same as mine.
you could check my other post related to this matter.

broo. i need help ! my galaxy tab keeps showing the samsung boot logo. any help pleasee?
what has happened exactly?
you could try powering down your tab first.
then try entering recovery mode (done by pressing volume up + power button).
wipe your cache and then afterwards restore to factory settings.

Hi guys, I read the post and tried Rotohammer but it failed in the start hanging at "Connection setup" then shows fail. Can anybody suggest how to remove this Custom ROM Overcome_v1.6.4 and install any Foroyo stock rom.

Hi I'm a noob myself but I assume you can just follow the overcome guide to go back to stock?... basically, go into download mode And flash "overcome stock froyo safe" using Odin. I may well be missing something but wehenever I mess up and my tab won't boot, I just re-flash...
This is my first attempt at offerring help to anyone here, if i'm wrong please tell me! (Nicely!)

Checking it out now!
If you want to go to the stock, go to the thread by ramad mentionned above and flash UGKG3, it's the latest and greatest stock bell firmware, as well as being rooted and deodexed. I'm running it now, works great.

Ok ill take a look at that too. How long have you been running that on your phone? Will I be able to update my phone in the future via kies if I wanted to?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
You can update using kies, it's detected and read by the kies client. I've been running it for a few weeks, never a single problem. It has busybox 1.19 installed in the bin folder, but you can just install an older one to sbin or xbin if you really need to. I really recommend it, I had a lot of trouble trying to root the stock 2.2.3 on my own.

Hi there,
I'm running stock 2.3.5 jvt on galaxy s but wanted too root it. Is there a way of doing it without a computer as I don't have access to one any time soon.
I remember using z4root when I had version 2.2 but I'm not sure if that will work with 2.3.5.
Thanks in advance

You can try the following gingerbread. Try to search and hope it works for latest firmware. I have tried this long time ago when I used JVK..
I have a Tmobile Galaxy Tab that is currently on stock Gingerbread but is rooted. I have Rom Manager and am trying to flash clockwork recovery for my tab but it only gives the option of Epic4G or i9000, no t mobile tab. I'm stuck at this point. Please help.
Are you trying to load or change roms?
And are you on GB or froyo?
