HTC IME for Gingerbread - HTC Incredible S

I have been finding it for a lot time,
can anyone provide the HTC_IME 2.3 MOD with Chinese input for me?
Thanks for everyone's help!
----------------------------------------------------------
Sorry for my bad English, I am from Hong Kong

I was looking for it since I changed my ROM to WWE, and the only thing I need from Asian ROM is Chinese characters handwriting from HTC cause gPen is not even half good as HTC Input.
Actually I saved an apk and odex files for HTC IME from an Asian ROM, I tried to install an apk after changing my ROM to WWE, but it didn't work out, i got a 拼音 from HTC but not the 手写
I uploaded apk and odex files to rapidshare, here are the links:
Also, I found a handwriting input method comparable to HTC Input, search for GuoBiIME
UPD: Can't post the links since i don't have enough posts=(

request English T9 files

Hi, I've just installed the TW ROM for asia font support. Only now I realise predictive text no longer works.
Please can someone with English ROM post their T9 files for me? Also has anyone tried doing this and does it work?
While I'm here, anyone know how to change the interface language to English while keeping the East Asia language support?
I'd like to have the german T9-files for use with WWE-ROMs.

Well, to change the interface to English, you'll have to flash the WWE(English) ROM. Keeping East Asian language support depends on what kind of support you need. If you just need to view East Asian languages, you would need to put the appropriate font on the device. If you need to input Chinese/Japanese/Korean also, you would need to install the appropriate IME and SIPs. Since you haven't specified which East Asian language you need, I can't help any further.
excellent, in that case i might just copy all the files i need from the TW rom and add them back after flashing the UK Rom. I need chinese input too so what files do i need to make copy of?
Unfortunately, I don't know too much about getting chinese to work since I don't know chinese. You probably don't even need to copy the files from the TW ROM. Just search for "Chinese Input" on these forums, and I'm pretty sure you'll find threads dedicated to finding the complete solution that you need.

Greek HTC Keyboard to cyanogen builds

I have the market apps but the hero htc version is much better and have greek predicted text
I jnow because I have put the rom earlier. But now I am back to cyanogen and it will be perfect except the htc touch input in english have the greek one also
Anyone??????
I think you need to push the HTC_IME from the hero rom to your cyanogen rom.
how ??
with adb and where I can find the HTC_IME from the JacHero roms
where can i get greek IME? Could we use both english and greek?
Do not quote me on this.. but.. I think you can set language on HTC_IME that comes with Cyan's rom. I personally don't use it but when I did I could set it to russian in the settings just fine. Try it, you're not loosing anything. Your predictions though are in separate file and I'm not sure what that file is... something along the lines of userdictionary.db , you may have to pull that out of hero.
Good luck

HTC Arabic Rom

Where to download it from?
Will it also support WWE (as there is an English rom for mid east) which I am not interested in, as I require Arabic support.
Thanks.
(It really defies belief how difficult htc make it, would not get this nonsense with Iphone!)
you can get the rom from htc site itself...
An Arabic ROM can also be found here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=483681

Stock Legend Roms

I need to send my Legend back for repairs..but is there a website that contains the Dutch KPN RUU? I searched everywhere but I just can't find it...any help if possible would really put a huge smile on my face!
are your phone not WWE like most EU phones? I get to pick several languages (and i can change without wiping), incl but not limited to swedish, english, german and probably dutch.
Does that mean I can use any stock RUU?

[Q] Backing Up/obtain languages

hey guys, I want to go s-off but i'm having an asian rom, which means I need to flash it with Goldcard and a EUR RUU.
Flashing with a EUR RUU means that I will lose all the languages I have in my phone? Is there a way I can download languages for my phone? Or at least back up my current rom so that I can install it back in later?
Thanks guys. <3
You'll have almost any language if you flash WWE version of stock ROM.
I wasn't able to get a chinese handwriting method from HTC Text Input from Asian stock ROM, but I backed up an HTC IME from it using MyPhoneExplorer... (So I'm just going to replace an HTC IME in the custom ROM i want to use with an HTC IME from Asian stock ROM)
I'm still working on it, i'll see whether it works out or not...
Hey thanks alot dude, I wanna type in chinese, that's the thing, just the keyboard will do. I have a SouthEastAsia rom but theres no option for chinese handwriting
So you're saying that I can type with chinese on the WWE Rom? hahaha if that's the case i'm gonna flash it in now!
Alas, if you want to have a Chinese user interface, you can go to the market and download "MoreLocale2". You can find ALMOST every language in it.
